The meeting point will be at the main entrance of the Port of Callao, called APN. Our team will be waiting there with a sign bearing our agency's name, “Lima Discover,” ready to begin the tour. Most cruise lines offer buses that transport passengers from the pier to the main port entrance, which takes about 15 minutes. However, sometimes passengers are taken directly to the Miraflores district. In that case, we can also pick you up there. Just let us know one or two days before the tour, and we'll make sure everything is arranged for your group. The drive to Miraflores will take approximately 50 minutes.

We did not get to go on the tour, as we could not locate the place where we were to be picked up, also we were not provided the time we were to be picked up.

Great experience instead of cruise company Shore tour. Saul, Ismail and Benjamin made the tour complete. Benjamin was excellent driver and felt extremely safe despite difficult traffic conditions. Saul and Ismail made a terrific team giving us lots of relevant info which added to the experience.

What a fantastic day trip! Our tour guide Saul was wonderful. His English was perfect and he was very attentive and professional. We had a great time in Lima. The only suggestion is this day trip should include visiting the Cathedral. All in all Saul made us a very enjoyable day in Lima.

The tour itself was good, but the experience was very stressful. We had to find a car to get to the meeting point and then waited 1 hour 15 minutes in a dangerous area because the staff weren’t there and only answered local numbers. They eventually sent a car to drop us off at a new meeting point. The tour guide mismanaged time, taking over an hour to reach the restaurant because of a stop at a shop beforehand. The restaurant service was very slow, and the guide did nothing to help. By 3:30 PM, we were exhausted and left the tour early along with another couple. This wasn’t a proper cruise excursion, and the communication was really poor.

Thank you for your comment, but unfortunately, no travel agency is authorized to enter the port of Callao in Lima.We have to wait for the cruise ship to take them to the meeting point in special buses; unfortunately, we don't receive that information from the passengers alone.As it's a group tour, we have to follow the established itinerary. Some people don't want to take time to eat, but others do, and we believe we should respect the rest of the group.

Nice tour of the Highlights of Lima including the main areas downtown and visiting the Cathedral, the San Francisco church, museum and catacombs.
Since our tour took place on a Sunday we had the chance to see around the Plaza de Armas several student groups performing music and local dances.
We also had at our own expense a lunch at a nice restaurant in the downtown area.
Last we visited a local market where we sampled some delicious fruits and visited Love Park with great views of the coast.

An excellent tour to take to get a good idea of the whole city. We specifically booked this tour from the Port of Callao for cruises however there was no way they were ever going to pick us up from the port as outside vehicles are not allowed on the port itself, the name of the tour needs to be changed to reflect this. We had to get the ship shuttle bus into Lima and that took 40 minutes, the tour company did advise us beforehand so we could make arrangements however it did mean we had to be off the ship early and leave a good hour before we thought we had too. The company always kept in touch and said they would not go without us.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience. At this time, the construction of the Lima subway has closed access to the port. For this reason, we cannot enter. We hope that this is temporary and that we can continue to offer the tour with pick-up from the same port. Thank you.

The tour guide was very pleasant and informative, answering all of our questions. Great overview of the area. Instead of 90 plus minutes for lunch, I would rather have seen the Barranco neighborhood with the murals.

Our tour guides were the best! Knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, eager to help foreigners understand and appreciate their city and its many years of history. The small group tour allowed for a more intimate understanding and engagement with the tour guides. I highly recommend you do this, especially if you are on a cruise ship stop where the tours based from the cruise line are twice as expensive had have five times as many people.

Great tour highly recommend. We had 2 guides on the bus explaining Lima Peru. They did an outstanding job. We hit all the highlights of Lima and had enough time to walk around and see it all. Importantly they met us at the cruise pick up point which was 10 min shuttle ride. Easy identify. Total great experience. Highly recommend.

Both Andres and Julia, our guides , were very knowledgeable and gave us so many impressions of Lima, well beyond showing the historical buildings. The talked about history of Lima and of Peru, about the life of the people in Peru, about the famous Peruvian food. And for lunch we were taken to a Peruvian restaurant were we could sample Peruvian specialities. The tour was fascinating.

Great overall city tour. Very professional easy pickup at the cruise port for a small group of around 15 people. Super knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides.
This is definitely a walking tour, so be prepared for that. I loved it. We covered so much of the city and it’s a great introduction upon arriving to Lima. It’s easy to see what you’d like to explore more if you wish. We stayed in Miraflores after the tour and took an easy Uber to the Larco Museo and Magic Fountains for a truly full sightseeing day. Really a great time.

Appreciated that I could keep in contact by email with tour guides before trip. Meet up went smoothly. Great shuttle driver and 2 terrific guides = Julia and oh no forgot the guy's name. He showed us local fruit. Did parks and churches and catacombs (so interesting) . Even caught changing of the guard. Lunch was authentic and tasty and reasonable price. Even went to Miraflores Love park and drove by Huacas. Everything was perfect. Guides showed and shared their love of Lima. Thanks to all for a spectacular day.

Too much walking on a very hot day, which was not pointed out in the overview before booking. We did not visit the Chocolate Museum at all. Very disappointing.

Thank you for your comment, The only way to get to know the city of Lima is by walking since it is forbidden to enter the city center with vehicles. I think qualifying a service as disappointing just because we walk and Why it was hot is not liked but we respect your comment and we are going to be even more specific in the reservation, in this tour in particular we put two guides per group and which guide and another to assist those who walk slowly and those who come with wheelchairs are not done by any agency in Lima, we know that most people are adults and we try to assist them at all times Thank you again for your comment and we will try to Improve the tour.

As a first time visitor, the tour was a good way to get an introduction to some highlights of the city. We spent most of the time in the Centro Historico part of town, it was interesting to see both the touristic sights and the coming and going of people downtown. Had a good lunch (self paid) at the selected restaurant, and then a brief stop at the Love Park in the wealthy and fashionable Miraflores district by the coast. Our guides provided us with relatable information about Lima, Peru and everyday life, as well as informative descriptions of the sites we visited. The traffic in Lima was pretty bad and it made a long tour feel longer, but it was a good way to get oriented in Lima.
