This is a good your understand the Spanish influence on the people here. We also got delicious churros in our guide gave us recommendations for restaurants. It’s really hard to appreciate what the city is about without the tour.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hour walking tour of Lima from Plaza de San Martin to PLaza de Armas via Jiron Street. The tour was extra special for two reasons: The streets had a party atmosphere due to the Independence day of Peru, the surprise treat of Churros by the tour guide. The tour of the Catacombs was very short and a bit of a let down. Pls note we see most of the churches and building from outside except San francisco church and the catacombs. We thoroughly enjoyed this introduction to the city of Lima

The tour was nice and informative. Both the tour guide and driver were great. I appreciated it not being fully a walking tour as that was what I expected. The purchase of churros as treat was a pleasant surprise. I had a quick stop in Lima before heading to Cusco and this was the perfect excursion, highly recommended!

Leonardo, our guide was fabulous! Very interesting and informative. The group had about 10-12 folks and many wandered which slowed the tour way down. Early morning traffic from Miraflores to historical center took over an hour. I would recommend a smaller group or private tour

Had a great time with the perfect size group (11 including my dad and me). We were notified of our hotel pickup time (8:40-8:55am for morning tour option) around 5pm the evening prior. I've been on several tours in South America with hotel pickup and that's relatively good advance notice. They were right on time. The mini bus was totally comfortable for the amount of people on the tour.
Our guide Cesar was energetic and engaging and that made for a great experience. I didn't find Lima alll that enticing, but I was unbored the entire half day tour. Good info given on Peru, Lima vs. other regions, and sites we were seeing. The churro stop was definitely a highlight. I had overlooked that would probably be happening and didn't realize the size of Peruvian churros, so I wished I had eaten a little less breakfast, but gobbled the whole thing anyway as a treat. We had the option of chocolate or caramel filled. I went with chocolate because caramel has a risk of icky-sweet for me.
We considered different format tours for our one day in Lima and are so pleased with our choice. Walking around Centro the whole span of time was so much better than in and out of a vehicle again and again seeing different areas for short intervals would have been.

What a wonderful introduction to the history, culture and architecture of Peru! I highly recommend but u derstand that you will need to walk about 8,000 steps.

This tour was a good experiences of our trip to Peru! Every destination was unique, beautiful, and full of fascinating history.
Our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. He explained the history, culture, and engineering of the Inca civilization in a way that was easy to understand and made every site come alive. We especially appreciated that he took the time to answer questions and never rushed the group.
The transportation was well organized, and punctual. The itinerary was well planned, giving us enough time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
A big thank you to our guide and driver for their kindness, professionalism, and excellent service. They made an enjoyable, and unforgettable day.

I was only in Lima for 36 hours so this was a great way to see parts of the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I also booked my airport transfer with the same company and they worked together with my tour guide to make sure I got to the airport on time.

It gives a good history of colonial times in Peru and the architecture is evidence of the grandeur of those days. The impact of the Catholic religion is very striking. My tour guide Joel Gustavo was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting.

Informational and well organized - our guide, Maverick, was very knowledgeable and personable and we learned a lot about the history of the area while enjoying a nice walk and a visit to the catacombs. We were also with friends who enjoyed the tour as well. They took photos for us and we enjoyed the churro stop also. It was active but not demanding and we definitely recommend it to learn about the historical center of Lima.
