Sail away from Lima to the Guarnera Islands (Islas Guaneras) on your boat journey while enjoying a cool drink.
Explore Callao Bay's yacht, warships, and merchant vessel anchorage first. After that, sail across the open seas to reach San Lorenzo Island. Explore this place and witness the humboldt penguins, fishing boats, and colorful guano bird colonies.
As your tour continues, hop back on your boat and venture to Palomino Island, home to a sea lion colony. Gear up in neoprene suits and plunge into the water for a refreshing swim alongside these marine animals.
On the way back to the port, enjoy views of cliffs, islets, and more wildlife as you refuel with a delightful snack.

Really well done! The whole thing is very organized and professional and fun. Our guides spoke perfect English (if that matters to you) and had all kinds of information about the wildlife we saw along the way. The check in spot is on a residential street, so look for the house street number rather than any commercial sign. There were young children on our boat and they were looked after with care. It was the best part of my visit in Lima. And we stayed for a very nice lunch just down the boardwalk along the oceanfront. Highly recommend.

Book this tour! It was such a great experience. They take you out on the boat (which is nice) and swimming with the sea lions is a moment I’ll never forget! The guide is in the water with you as well to help you get close to the sea lions and make it a fun experience for you. I do recommend taking meds if you get sea sick easily, because the water is a bit choppy on the ride there. I also recommend to bring a towel bc they don’t provide one for you. Also you don’t have to get into the water if you don’t want, not everyone did.

This was the absolute most fun thing I’ve ever done. Everyone was hysterically laughing in the water with the adorable sea lions coming right up to you to nibble your toes. The highlight of our trip.

The guide and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The water was fairly calm but cold and there were penguins and seabirds as well as sea lions that curiously swam close to us.

It is totally worth it! Alex was one of our guides and he was so knowledgeable and funny. They even took photos of us in the water and sent them to us later for free. We saw penguins and so many sea lions. It was an amazing experience. Wear lots of sunscreen even if it’s cloudy!!!

Swimming with sea lions in the wild Pacific Ocean was honestly one of the highlights of our Peru trip with my daughter 💙
Everything was perfectly organized from the beginning. Our guide Rodrigo was amazing — so kind, professional, and always making sure we felt safe and happy. He even helped us take beautiful photos and videos so we could fully enjoy the moment.
They provided comfortable wetsuits, which made a huge difference. I was honestly a little scared the Pacific would be freezing… but surprise — the water was absolutely comfortable! We swam around 10–15 minutes, laughing like little kids.
The sea lions were incredibly friendly and playful, swimming so close to us. And the biggest bonus — we even spotted a penguin 🐧✨
Such a magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience I will never forget.
Highly recommend this tour if you are in Lima — especially if you travel with kids or want a truly unique adventure. 💙

Once we got to the boat the tour was great. We felt safe and saw a ton of sea lions and different birds including penguins. The swimming portion was definitely the highlight! Our guides were really great too.
It was extremely hard to find the meeting location. It was not the address that’s in the activity listing. We reached out to the tour operator and they sent us a second incorrect address. We were walking around for 30 minutes before finding it.

Had an awesome experience. The guide was great, the sea lions were hilarious, however I did get the most intense sunburn of my life. Learn from my experience- bring a towel! The water is very cold and the sun is very intense and there is no covering on the boat. Perhaps including a bit more info as to what to bring would be helpful.

La Punta and interesting place to visit in its self Palomlno Islands. Staff friendly, knowledge and heloful . Water not.that cold and felt warmer the longer in it and in the sun. Wet suite not that easy to don. The meeting point is some way from Mirafor where I was staying and traffic slow and conjested on the first part of.the route.before the fork to central Lima. Have to bequite fit and strong on the launch to cope on the boat and getting in and out it. Thank you for taking group and individual photos but they have not been sent to me yet. Wonderful time swimming with the sea lions i would recommend our tour guide rodrigo( excuse me if i spell it wrong)he was awesome…i was scared at first but he reassured me and help me so I was able to take a picture with the sea lions.

Swimming with Sea lions is awesome! Definitely a must to do. The guides were also good. However the tour was disorganized. I added extra person to our group (changing number of participants did not work) and contacted the tour operator asking if we can be at the same group - no answer. Contacted again week later, no answer. Started to regret that I did not cancel and book with another company. On the day, the start was so chaotic, asked 5 times to complete the same form, overall chaos. Experience- highly recommended, the tour company - no.

LOVED this experience!! It was so fun and the guides were super friendly! Make sure to take a towel and warm clothes for after you swim. The water is quite cold and the boat ride back will feel cold too. Other than that, this is a must!

What a great experience!!! Rodriquez was fun and informative. He sent us pictures after our experience. Thank you! Being able to be in the water, see the wildlife (PENGUINS!!!) and swim with the sea lions. Sure it may be a bit chilly at first, but any thoughts about being chilly goes away when you see curious beautiful sea lions swimming around you / don’t hesitate/ just do it!

If you do anything in Lima let it be THIS!! This was the most amazing and unforgettable experience! Our guide Rodrigo was so funny and had us laughing the whole time. He also was great and took pictures and videos for us on his GoPro and sent them to us later. This is a MUST DO experience. You won’t regret it.

Of the guides were really helpful. Make sure you bring a towel and if you want to take pictures while you’re in the water bring a waterproof case. One of the guides brought a GoPro into the water and sent the pictures he took of us after. The water is cold but they give you a wetsuit and after a minute or two you feel fine. Wear your bathing suit under your clothes because there is really only a changing area for after. Definitely would recommend!

WOW! What an absolutely amazing experience! Saw lots of Humboldt penguins and beautiful scenery that can't be seen from Lima. Swimming with the sealions was crazy fun! They swim after the boat as you go by to get into position. 100s of heads bobbing in the ocean barking is a sight to see! They are so curious and swim right up to you when you jump in. The current was rough when we went so it was hard to stay close to them. Our guide, Alex, was super helpful and pushed us up where we could see/touch them. He also helped me touch them with my hands as I was afraid to have them touch my feet.
The wetsuits are short sleeve and legs so it is still cold when you first get in, but I was fine after about 30 seconds.
I would highly recommend this tour! Especially with Alex!
Tip - Uber takes you to a spot that is not the actual spot. Spot is around the corner to the right. Put in The Mirador Restaurant or Naval Club as the address. Otherwise, it is a bit difficult to find the meeting point.

This was an amazing experience! The views were wonderful and the sea lions were so cute. Our guide Alex was so helpful and knowledgeable.
Be sure to wear your swimsuit and bring towels. They did have showers available at the start/end point if you want to take advantage. If you get motion sickness, be sure to take some meds before leaving, as the water was choppy.

Saw a lot of sea lions, a few penguins, many other birds. Boat and driver were nice. Bathroom at the beginning and end only. Short wetsuits, water was freezing. Bring your own towel. Guide was funny but not very helpful while swimming or spotting animals. Overall good tour, not great. Sea lions came up to your fell while swimming and they smelled really bad.

It was simply beyond words! The whole trip, from start to finish, was amazing: we saw penguins, so many sea lions, and beautiful birds up close.
The whole crew - Alex, Fernando and Julio - was fantastic: fun, friendly, full of jokes, and they made the whole adventure even more special.
The water in late September was really cold, and some people didn’t even go in, but trust me — once you jump, after a few seconds you get used to it, and it’s 100% worth it!
I’ve also done the Ballestas Islands tour a few days later, and honestly, Palomino was so much better. Here you get closer to the animals and it feels real and personal, not touristy.
Huge thanks to the whole team — you made it unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend this tour! 💙🐧🦭
