Excellent experience of a French bakery

We spent a fabulous 3 hours with our guide Paula, who was kind and welcoming and very knowledgeable. We were given a free drink and pastry on arrival, then we spent time in the kitchens learning how to make baguettes, financiers and croissants. We were given the opportunity to get hands on and we were given lots to take home. There were only 3 of us on this tour (we did Sat afternoon at 13:30) so lots of time and space for questions and to get to know each other. We highly recommend this tour!

We took the baguette, financiers, and croissant class yesterday in Paris and it was one of the highlights of our trip. David was an incredible instructor—engaging, funny, interesting, and clearly passionate and knowledgeable about baking. He made the entire experience fun and approachable, even for non-professionals. We learned so much and left with fresh, warm baguettes, perfect financiers, and beautiful croissants that we were proud of. The class was well-organized, delicious, and genuinely enjoyable. Best Taste of Paris Activity!

Upon arrival we were greeted with coffee and juice with 2 plates of croissants and other pastries. Delicious! Then our charming guide, Manu? began our tour of the bakery! With our 2 ten year old granddaughters participating with us and I can say… this was a family favorite activity in Paris!!! Hands on baguette making, croissant making, and a tasty pastry…our guide was very engaging, informative, and entertaining. Highly recommend!! Thank you!

Don't miss this experience!!

This is a MUST DO while in Paris! Stephane is an expert crepe chef, and now, so are we!! His enthusiasm for his craft is evident and the entire experience was extremely entertaining and incredibly informative! All three generations in our group (ages 18, 51 and 78) truly LOVED this experience and the delicious crepes that we created! Plan your travel as Montmatre can be tricky to navigate from the heart of Paris. Also, plan to be there all 3 hours(or a bit more). You won't want to leave a minute early! We cannot wait to make crepes for all of our friends now that we are home! If you are going to Paris, put this on your list!!

Fun family activity with delicious results

Me, my husband and our 8 year old attended the macaron class today with Felix as our chef. We had such an amazing time! Felix made it fun and easy for us, and the end product was really impressive. Great family activity; I’d do it again in a heartbeat! My only regret is not booking the croissant class as well!

Best cooking class with Paulo

This is a wonderful gathering! I did the market and dinner class. Paulo is a great chef. The market was amazing . Paulo explained how to read the signs to know what you’re buying. The cooking class was well done. Paulo kept us moving along while showing us kitchen techniques. I learned a lot in this class and can’t wait to try these dishes at home as they send the recipes to you. I was a solo traveler and the group was very welcoming! I highly recommend this tour if you love good food!

BEST cooking class I've taken!

HIGHLIGHT on our Paris trip! We loved every second and the food was amazing!! Our chef was the BEST and so engaging, personable and funny! I have already told several people about this experience that are traveling to France...I think one booked while we were there! Can't wait to make the recipes again...especially the au gratin potatoes...nothing like them! So good...highly recommend and you also meet the nicest people! Enjoyed this experience with my daughter on her 24th birthday. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and approachable with questions. He paired each wine course with a cheese from the same region and explained how the flavor of the wines were enhanced with the different cheeses. A super fun and informative experience!

A Deliciously Unique Experience

Chef Carole was so lovely to open her home to my daughter and I. She showed us how to make some traditional French holiday recipes that were absolutely delicious and we both felt like we could replicate them when we get home. She went over the ingredients in great detail, letting us know where they were from and how the flavor profiles worked together. As people who don’t usually “dabble” in the kitchen, we are now inspired to do so together more. Thank you Chef Carole for the truly amazing and unique experience!
