Top sites of D-day

Although it’s a long day (12-13 hours with 3 hours travel each way from Normandy) we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our guide and driver, Nicholas, took us to a German bunker, Omaha Beach, and the nearby cemetery. It was a sobering, but fascinating experience!

Incredibly fun way to see Versailles!

What a cool way to see Versailles. It’s so big that there is no way you can see it all. Riding bikes was a nice break from all the walking we have done all over Paris. Our guide, Mikel, was incredible! He made the history fun and really taught us a lot of information without boring us to death! We came back wanting to learn more!! Would highly recommend seeing Versailles on this trip to anyone interested in going. You do want to be in shape as it is a lot of bike riding, over some hills, and then quite a bit of walking as well!

An absolute hoot!

Philippe picked us up at our hotel and zipped around Paris traffic with a complacent ease that created an adventure in itself. Perfect day with Florian

My husband and I ( both in our 60s) spent our first full day in Paris exploring for seven hours with Florian. We were a bit jet lagged so others might want to save this for day two lol. Florian taught us how to use the metro. We toured Notre Dame, Shakespeare and Co bookstore, Montmartre, Sacre Coeur and so many other places. We learned a great deal. By the end of the day Florian felt like a friend. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful guide named Lance. He took us through the beautiful countryside of Champagne. We stopped at some great Champagne house for tours and tastings and an amazing lunch. During the drive Lance taught us everything we needed to know about champagne. Being a sommelier, he was very informative. A very memorable day!

We had a wonderful experience with Bateaux Parisiens! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the views of Paris from the Seine were beautiful. Our waiter was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely nice, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff also made my birthday extra special by singing “Happy Birthday” to me during the cruise. Such a thoughtful touch! We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend it.

Off the tourist path. Joana took us places we would never go on our own. We felt safe. The tastings were fabulous. We even had the opportunity to recreate the Pretty Woman restaurant scene with the snails! Joana left us with great suggestions for the rest of our trip. Guy was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He got to know each group and also got the group members to interact with each other. He made sure everyone got their questions answered. Guy made sure everyone u dersyood and felt comfortable using public transportation. Excellent knowledgeable...

Excellent knowledgeable guide. Before the trip I was very worried about the meeting place as I had read that other people missed their tour and there was no recourse. We arrived early so no problem but I was worried until we met up with the group. In other places we have visited in the world, the tours are designated a particular spot for meeting up with their guests.

Jose Antonio and Fred were great guide and driver on a clean and comfortable bus for an easy tour— There are a lot of steps for those who are not looking for a moderately challenging walk, but it was lovely and very Self contained with restaurants on site and lots of good history.
