Family Normandy Tour
Kate was very friendly and outgoing, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and about WW2. There wasn't one question we asked for which she didn't have an answer (and often a visual aide!). She related very well to our two grandsons (6 & 9), and they really seemed to enjoy all of the stops. She was flexible, and often had suggestions that were not necessarily pertinent to the tour's topic, but made our stay in the area more enjoyable. A wonderful day was had by our multigenerational group.

Solo Female Travel Experience
Linda took me on a private full day tour of central Shanghai. She is very knowledgeable about the history and also knows the best shopping and other trendy locations youthful people would enjoy. She is a wonderful guide for tourists of all ages. Our tour highlights included a few Temples, Yu Garden, the Bund/ Huangpu river area, French Concession area for an early dinner, and sunset at the tallest building in Shanghai for 360 views. She gave me some tips on things I could do for the last day of my trip and was very kind and helpful throughout our time together! Would recommend Linda from Sunny tours to any travelers going to Shanghai. Yu Garden & City God Temple is a shopping and historical location very popular with tourists. There are a lot of vendors offering to do photo shoots of individuals in themed attire throughout the temple and garden areas. I believe Linda said the center garden location was built in the Ming dynasty. This closes at 4pm so be mindful when planning your trip. The tour company advised me of the hours to make sure I made the most out of my experience. Even if you are not interested in dressing up, there is plenty to see and do in that area. Though open during the day, the City God Temple area lights up with the rest of Shanghai at 6pm (sunset) and does not close until around 10pm. Beautiful to see!

Excellent & Engaging Tour
We chose this tour because it offered different locations than the others and we knew we would want to go to the D-Day Museum on our own time, so this was perfect. We especially loved the visit to St Mere Eglise and the stories about the paratroopers. There was so much to take in, even if you know the history well. Our guide Charles was exceptional! Knowledgeable, engaging, helpful, and happy to answer any questions. Truly an incredible day out! We will be recommending this specific tour & Bayeux Shuttle, as a company, to anyone we can.

Mont Saint-Michel Tour
We were happy to be picked up in Bayeux and driven to Mont Saint-Michel. My husband was happy to be there during low tide and get to walk out on the muddy clay surrounding the island. The village and Abby were as impressive as we’d hoped. Our guide, Vi, was full of knowledge and stories than enriched the experience. I enjoyed the scale models of the Mont. Keep in mind the lines for the bus back to the parking lot are long, so we had to wait for another bus, and that made us a little late on our departure.

The northern region of Normandy is one of France’s most emblematic, boasting centuries of history, iconic cuisine, and a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites rank among the most popular Normandy tours, but guided visits can also add depth when checking off must-sees like the Bayeux Tapestry and the Mont St Michel monastery. Beyond the headline acts, exploring Normandy like a local means embracing the slower pace of life: explore the countryside by e-bike or sidecar, stop for a cider tasting amid the orchards, or stroll the waterfront of Honfleur or Deauville.
