Wonderful tour and tour guide

We had a wonderful experience. Thierry, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the D-Day invasion and the Americans who fought to liberate the French. The mix of locations was perfect, especially starting at the American military cemetery which was both beautiful and moving, and concluding at the Museum at Utah Beach, which brought everything we learned from Thierry throughout the day full circle. Great experience.

Normandy is a must see. Incredibly moving. Our tour took in the American beaches and the cliffs which were scaled by the Rangers. Our guide, Matthew was personable and knowledgeable, fluent in English. Definitely a highlight of our trip to France. Breezy tour of WW2 D-Day

Our guide was very knowledgeable with facts and stories at the sites and during the drives. She had a book of photos and charts that added visuals to her words. With lunch this is a 7 hour excursion. Very manageable walking even for us old timers. Lots of driving because it covers Omaha to Utah and back from Bayeux. We were experiencing the extreme heat and dryness near Paris. So it was a surprise that the coast was 70 F, 25mph wind with small rain spells. Our guide handled it expertly by doing storytelling in the car for those of us who didn’t want to brave the elements. She led the way through gales and sand for those who wanted the experience.

Where to begin!! Pauline our guide was absolutely fabulous. Her grasps of the events of June 6th was wonderful. I am a history major with a specialty in WWII history. There was very little I had to add to her presentation. Amazing Experience with Fabrice

Fabrice made this an amazing experience. He was very knowledgeable about the details and specifics of what took place in Normandy. He discussed the strategies that were used and talked about the American soldiers as people and gave insight into their ages, experience level, and the weather conditions that they had to experience. I wasn't sure what to expect, but he was so interesting and made me want to know and learn more. He was very passionate about the subject and made this a trip to remember. There were several cruise ship excursions that day and he made sure that we avoided the crowds by being aware of their progress and changing the sequence of the areas that we toured. We also ate at a wonderful farm to table restaurant that he chose. He went above and beyond by giving us suggestions of where to eat in Paris and some history of the city. This trip was well worth the cost because of our amazing guide!

This tour is not for the faint of heart as it covers so much history, both heroic and tragic. Our guide, Faustin, was amazing.
