Tour Of All Tours

From the moment we were greeted in the morning we were made to feel welcome. Our driver/guide Laurène (Gold Beach Company) for the day was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about everything on our itinerary and beyond! She covered pretty much everything, so when it came to ask questions we really didn't have many! Her driving skills were safe & professional. A real credit to her tour company! At lunch time we were taken to a wonderful place just outside of Carentan ( Boulangerie Snacking ) which was lovely and catered for all appetites. We covered everything during the day from St Marie Eglise Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Point-Du Hoc & finished at the large Normandy American Cemetery (Colleville-sur-Mer), with a couple off track memorials inbetween. I highly recommend this tour whether you're new to learning about D-Day or you are looking to fill in gaps in your own knowledge if you already have a genuine interest! I will definitely tell my friends & family about this experience too!

Got Lucky and received a private tour. The tour guide Charles was amazing. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to world war 2 stuff and answered all my questions. He even stopped his car in the middle of the road so I could take photos of herd animals. 100% would recommend to anyone.

This was an INCREDIBLE experience. There is no better way to experience the Omaha Beach area than on a sidecar motorcycle with these tour guides. Access to places other tours do not go, experiencing the smells of the French countryside, and just great insight into how D-Day and beyond was fought. She was really well-prepared with a book of visual aids that really added to the information presented. “V” was a great guide.. took us from room to room in every area with detailed explanations, history, and facts about SM.. timely pickup and drop off (8:00-430) and a good safe driver. This tour leaves from bayeux, not Paris.. right V? Ha ha Please note since you’re exploring all the abbey you will be going up steps, appx 300 in total.. it is doable but elderly, those with knee or back problems should be aware Highly recommended.. company took care of everything and good communications

Pierre was phenomenal. So very knowledgeable about not only D Day but the local town as well. He was obviously passionate about what he does and was friendly and engaging throughout the entire day. The tour was perfect blend of guided information and free time to explore the various sites as well. Our train was delayed and like the description states, he did in fact wait for us before leaving to get started. Would absolutely recommend. Pierre was amazing!!
