Very authentic and hands on; and bonus that you get to enjoy everything you make. Luis was an exceptional teacher.

Veronica was great - an amazing experience when it comes to Mexican cooking. I would highly recommend this as a first step in this cooking realm.

Jazz was so much fun. The salsas and the recipes were fantastic, but the real joy was spending the day with her. Between the market, the music, the costumes and the fun, she made it a great experience for my 13-year old and I.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Our chef, Jazz, was absolutely delightful. She took us through the market to select our ingredients for the salsas, pointing out things and having us taste things as we walked. Then we walked to her place just across the road. It was already set up and amazingly appointed for the class. It was fun and interactive. Above and beyond our expectations. We tasted the salsas as we prepared them and then made quesadillas at the end. We were planning on dinner after but no need! We left fat and happy! We now have four delicious salsa recipes under our belt and a memory for life.

I joined this cooking class with my husband. It was such a great experience. Veronica showed our group a local market and our group chose all the ingredients together. Veronica explained from how to pick each ingredient to how to make salsa and eat properly like a local. I want to take a different cooking class next time when I'm back to mexico city. Highly recommend!

Very nice couple of hours starting with buying the ingredients in a local market. Something different in your CDMX itinerary.

Amazing immersive experience. It was so cool to visit the local market and then make local salsas ! For our entire trip after the class we were so knowledgeable about making salsas that we impressed all of the restaurants we visited! This class was so fun and we highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of taking this class with our teacher, Yazmin. Honestly, her energy, smile, kindness, knowledge made the class such a fun experience! Not only did she show us how to make delicious salsas and share stories, but she welcomed us into her space with open arms.
If you’re ever visiting CDMX, take a few hours out of your day to take this class and immerse yourself into the culture through food.

Veronica is absolutely fantastic. We loved visiting the local market for ingredients and then to her warm and welcoming apartment. Coming from Southern California, we can make good salsa - but my family believes that Veronica's four recipes are the best we have ever had. Our group includes our three kids in their 20s and all agree that the salsa class and meeting Veronica is a trip highlight.

Shopping for ingredients at the Mercado prior to the salsa-making was very informative. Delicious and relaxed atmosphere.

She was very lovely and informative. The salsa we made were the best we had in Mexico, so we’re super happy to bring back home the recipes to enjoy there :)

My friends and I had a fantastic time learning how to make 4 different kinds of salsa! Natalia was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of us. She was very accommodating to our groups' varying spice tolerances, and the whole experience was very interactive. The salsas were *chef's kiss*, I'm still dreaming about them. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Mexico City!

Wow! This was such a fun and interesting experience. Natalia was a fabulous host who took us to the market and then to her own home where we made 4 different absolutely DELICIOUS salsas! Highly recommended!

From shopping the market, trying new fruits to preparing 4 salsas and enjoying a home cooked meal together this was 10/10. Natalia was positive, energetic, knowledgeable and a pro in the kitchen. Highly recommend this tour.

Natalia was a wonderful hostess. Our family of 6 had great time seeing authentic Mexican market and learning to make some truly fantastic salsas. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic experience.

Meeting a big black Trinidadian dude with dreadlocks who asked us if we were there for a salsa class, was the beginning of this laughter filled experience that kept us wanting more everytime. And it just got better from there.
We went to the market and then his home where they have a table set up with cutting boards. We made some amazing salsas, all the time laughing at his jokes and he was a total gentleman about our skills or lack of!
His stories, his humour and his love for Mexican stuff was apparent. This was one of our favorite things to do in Mexico City, a chance to get out and see how locals live, cook and shop.
You won't regret it!

What a great experience! Changed what I thought I knew about salsa. The hosts were amazing and hospitable. This was a great way to spend a morning.

SO excited my husband and I were able to find this experience! Definitely a highlight of our trip to CDMX! It's more than just a salsa cooking class - it's an authentic experience of Mexican culture outside of the tourist attractions. The tour starts with a trip to the local market to purchase fresh produce and we were even able to buy fresh mole to bring home! Quesse was a fantastic tour guide - so kind and so much fun! He put a lot of thought and detail into the class and even took photos throughout the tour for us!

Excellente expérience 🤩 notre hôte était très accueillante et a fait l’effort de nous faire tout le cours en français! Nous sommes repartis avec des papilles régalées et de précieuses recettes en main 😀
