I don’t usually write reviews, but after such a wonderful experience with my wife and daughter, I felt I had to share. Our private tour was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Our driver and guide, Devin, was professional, patient, and truly a gentleman. He created a very comfortable atmosphere, if we felt like chatting, he engaged warmly and shared great knowledge; and when we wanted quiet moments, he respected that too.
One thing that really stood out was his flexibility. I requested an unplanned detour that was not part of the itinerary so I could pick up a few things. Devin and the company happily accommodated my request, waited patiently for nearly an hour, and then we continued the tour without any issues. That level of understanding and customer care made a big difference.
During the tour, we visited many beautiful places. The tea tasting was excellent, the botanical garden was breathtaking, and the waterfront was lively, especially since we went on a Friday and there was a band playing, which made the atmosphere even more special. Throughout the day, Devin shared interesting history and local insights, answering all our questions while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable.
Honestly, this was one of the best private tours I have ever experienced. I never expected a tour to be this enjoyable and memorable for my family. I am truly grateful for the experience and we are already planning to book another tour, hopefully to explore the south side next together.

North Mauritius has beautiful beaches, a colonial house & rhumerie and the botanical garden.. all worth visiting!! Chucky was a great driver and guide .. we had a great day!

We went out with Asif today. He was filled with a host of knowledge about his Island, answered all our questions with ease.
Car was absolutely spotless with great working AC. He allowed us to alter the intinerary also We thoroughly enjoyed our day.😊Well worth it

A great day out. We had plenty of time to explore each activity before moving on to the next one. Beni was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and delighted us with the history of Mauritius. We picked up some bargains from the market and had a lovely walk around the botanical gardens and saw the giant tortoises. Cap Malheureaux Church was beautiful and we stopped to take photos of Grand Baie beach. Chateaux de Labourdonais was a colonial house where you could taste the varieties of rum. Well worth the money.

Sahil was a safe and responsible taxi driver making intelligent conversation providing a good historical knowledge of the island. We had an amazing tour of the north! Our driver was kind and very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. It was a long drive from the south and he kept us entertained. The tour allowed us to see several places and got to try delicious local food as well. The experience made us want to come back to the north again and explore the beautiful beaches. Highly recommend this tour and booking with this company for other excursions

If ever in Mauritius it’s a must; as this island has a history beside it’s beautiful beaches . He was so explicit throughout the trip and before every stop he informs me of what to expect . He was very helpful and tried his best to make this day tour pleasant . The car was very clean and comfortable. Thank you and i recommend him to other tourists.

We did a day with one of the tour guides, however it didn’t go as planned, so we raised this with the organiser (Chucky), who offered a complimentary day out in Port Louis to make up for this. This exceeded our expectations and we managed to see much more than we thought thanks to Chucky and Kevin. I would like to highlight his professionalism, fairness and customer service to resolve this matter. Definitely the best service we experienced during our vacation in Mauritius.

I had an amazing time on this tour and would highly recommend it. The tour company made everything very easy to understand beforehand, so I knew exactly how the day would work.
My guide and driver, Asif, was absolutely fantastic. He arrived on time, which I really appreciated, and made me feel comfortable from the moment we started. Normally I can be quite quiet depending on who I’m with, but I felt completely at ease with him. We spent the day chatting, laughing, and having a genuinely great time.
One thing that really stood out was how knowledgeable he is. He knows the area so well that he did not need a map or Google directions. Any question I had, and I asked a lot, he was able to answer. He would also share extra information without me even asking, which made the experience so much more interesting. I honestly feel like I learned so much about the north of Mauritius in just one day.
The car was comfortable and air conditioned, he let me play my own music, bought me a drink, and we even stopped to try some delicious roti. He also gave me plenty of time at every stop and never made me feel rushed. If there was somewhere I wanted to look around or spend extra time exploring, he was more than happy to accommodate that.
During the tour I visited so many beautiful places, including the Botanical Garden, Cap Malheureux Church, the rhum distillery and its beautiful mansion like building, La Citadelle, Pereybere Beach, Grand Baie Beach, and the Caudan Waterfront. The viewpoints throughout the day were incredible, and I also loved seeing so many animals and beautiful scenery.
This was my very first excursion of my holiday, and it could not have been a better start. I am so glad I was matched with Asif as my guide. I had so much fun, learned so much, and made some wonderful memories. I would absolutely recommend both Asif and this tour company to anyone visiting Mauritius.

Our driver Keven picked us up on time and took us to all the main places of interest. He never rushed us and gave us relevant information and allowed us plenty of time to explore

This was one of the best island tours we’ve been on. The driver, Sahil, was very accommodating to our needs and extremely knowledgeable. He told us a lot about the history and culture of the island and answered all of our questions. He also adjusted the tour based on our specific interests. One of the highlights was the restaurant he recommended for lunch. What incredible, fresh food.
The company did a great job communicating with us before the tour and helped us recover an item we had dropped along the way.

We had a really good day with Asif as our driver. He was friendly, open and very warm throughout the trip. What we especially appreciated was that he knew exactly when to talk and share information, and when to give us some quiet time to relax and enjoy the journey.
Even with a bit of rain, we still had a lovely day and felt very comfortable with him. He even went the extra mile and got my pregnant wife some little mango sweets for the journey, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Collected from hotel and travelled from the South to the North in a nice clean car. We saw all the places listed on the itinerary and driver was very helpful. We probably didn’t need a full hour at the waterfront but it was nice to walk round it. Quite a long day but got to see everything that was planned. Extra costs included botanic gardens (well worth it), lunch at Heart of the Ocean (wouldn’t have been our choice so have another option would have been good) and colonial house (good to see but quite expensive if you don’t want to do the rum tasting). Probably didn’t need a hour here so we left a bit early and Asif was good with this. Traffic was busy but we got through quickly. Asif was very knowledgeable and pointed out places of interest as we went! Thank you for a lovely day😎

Although I didn't have time for the whole tour, the driver still took me to many places. We stopped for pics at the red roofed church by the sea. I walked the grounds of the elegant chateau, toured the home and tasted rum. I enjoyed the recommended dish, red snapper, at a local restaurant. At the botanical garden, I took a golf cart tour, which entailed an in-depth look at trees from all over the world. I also saw flying fox bats sleeping in a tree and a small animal park with tortoises there. I would recommend this tour.

We booked this trip because we wanted to explore the highlights of the North of the island. We saw everything we wanted to see and more! The trip is great value for money and having your own driver means if you take longer or shorter at a location that’s fine!
Our driver was Kevin who was brilliant. He was very friendly and helpful. He knew a lot about the island and all the destinations and answered all our questions.
The trip length is perfect if you should want to be out for the day but not consume the whole day needing to wake up early and get back late. We were able to enjoy an easy morning, do the trip and then still have some time in the afternoon to relax at our hotel. It was exactly what we wanted in the excursion .

Overall, this tour has the potential to be a great experience, but it really depends on the driver you get. Unfortunately, mine wasn’t the friendliest, which affected the day. I’d recommend having lunch in Port Louis instead of the seafood restaurant they typically take tourists to, the price isn’t worth the quality of the food. Also, some of the stops felt quite rushed, and I think they would have been much more enjoyable with a bit more time. You could probably skip Grand Baie public beach, as it’s quite crowded with parked yachts. Instead, spend more time in Pereybere, walking along the beach there is much more relaxing and enjoyable. Cap Malheureux was a highlight and absolutely beautiful. It would be great if there were an option to swim there. I also noticed that we didn’t visit the public market as advertised, which was a bit disappointing. That said, this tour could be an amazing experience overall, you just need to be lucky with the driver.
