We would have needed a guide for the gardens, not easy to navigate, lots of walking, hot and humid again, but over all the guide was there for us, although he could use a refresher course on how to be a guide as opposed to being a taxi driver! His English needed some work, but his French was fine when I could understand him, over all fine!

I was a solo traveller and booked this tour expecting more personalised attention. The guide and driver Mike did not accompany me at any of the stops. He simply dropped me off and said I'll pick you up later. I expected more of a guide for the price.

The guide -driver, Robin was excellent and very accommodating. He even took us to a supermarket to buy a special tea. Excellent excursion to see the sites of the north.

This tour was a bit whistlestop…it would have been good if some more time was spent in Port Louis to explore the market and marina area.

Nishal our driver was really nice, informative and listened to what we wanted to make our day a brilliant tour of the north side of Mauritius. He was early but waited till we were ready , waited patiently at each stop , added suggestions to enhance our day. Nothing was too much trouble couldn’t ask for anything more .

A very beautiful tour we had, started with the market and did some shopping, visited the Temple, the red church and sealed our tour with the visit to the botanical gardens wow it was amazing and our driver was so friendly and warm even got us some sugar canes to eat

Our wonderful driver Ravi picked us up at our hotel promptly and sightseeing and enjoying the beauty. the island. Shopping in Port Louis the outdoor harbor mall is a definite must! Ravin was so friendly and knowledgeable.!Don’t miss the outdoor huge fruit and veggie market….so much fun . We changed several things on the itinerary and it was no problem at all. Enjoy!

This was an enjoyable day with a variety of things to see, and made very good by the attitude of my excellent guide/driver called Ravine, who drove me for the second day in a row. The restaurant I was taken for a meal (not included) was quite good but rather expensive (not as good as the meal on the southwest tour)..
If you have the time available, I would recommend taking both the northern and southwestern tours. However, if your time is limited and you can only manage one of the tours, then I'd suggest opting for the southwest tour.

We all thought this day tour was excellent value for money. Our driver Mike, navigated Port Louis traffic so brilliantly - took us everywhere, gave us time to explore and returned to collect us exactly when and where he had promised. Swimming at the most gorgeous beach was an unexpected surprise after such a busy day. Nothing felt rushed and we covered a lot of ground - walking downtown, climbing the citadel and through the lush botanical gardens. A really good mix of activities and a great day out. Highly recommended.

A great day out which was not too hectic or stressful as we were able to spend as long or short a time as we wanted to. Lots of shops at the Waterfront were closed as it was a Sunday so probably better to do the tour on other days. However we enjoyed the shopping experience. The fort was also closed but a great location to take photos from at the top of a hill. Enjoyed the walk at the botanical gardens a lot, and recommend the guides.

35 minutes late however claimed they had messaged me to tell me but they hadn’t. Had to complain to Viator to see where the driver was. During the tour, the driver did not speak to us. We didn’t know where we were going half the time. Didn’t take us for any lunch but managed to grab some chips while we stopped at a beach for ten minutes.
