Overview
See whales off the coast of Mauritius from a speed boat with your small group. Your guide will use a hydrophone in the water to locate where the whales are. Maintaining a safe distance to keep from disturbing the whales, you will be close enough to get some great photos on this late morning excursion.

Amazing to be able to see these amazing sperm whales in their natural habitat. The tour operators are respectful of the natural habitat of these amazing creatures and allow us to spend some time with them in a way that doesn't cause distress to them.
Blessed to have seen a pod of 8 whales including mother and baby. The tour guides knowledge of the sperms whales was second to none.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We were so grateful to see three whales as part of this experience. It is something that we will always remember and a highlight of our time in Mauritius. The skippers were very professional, safety conscious and respected the animals. We would definitely recommend anti-nausea tablets if you are prone to motion sickness as the water is incredibly choppy. Thanks again to the skippers for making our experience memorable.

Very enjoyable experience. We saw about 6 small cuvier’s beaked whales which was fantastic. Crew were friendly and good fun. No guarantee of whale spotting. We were lucky on the day.

Really good that we saw the whales but nobody mentioned that we would get absolutely soaked and they were aware as the staff put their googles

So if booking take waterproofs and a towel and water as we was not even given this until we got back .
It was freezing out in deep
Water and becUde of this I wanted to return back before seeing the whales and staff were obviously aware that peole got wet as on the way back told to remove life jackets to dry ourselves so not other customers could not see that we were all soaking wet

We had the most amazing experience in this short tour. We were lucky to see at least seven whales and on our way back as a bonus We saw a large number of dolphins near the shore.

Simply amazing! The crew gave good explanations, ensured our safety and most of all they respected the Whales ! While other companies bring out visitors for swimming excursions with the whales which is illegal, these guys had the ability to track the whales and brought us as close as legally possible. Definite recommendation !

We got to see 2 sperm whales. The entire experience was exhilarating - the adventurous boat ride in the Indian Ocean ( 1 hour to the area where we saw the whales) and the sighting of whales (having read about them and watched in videos).
Our guides and the captain of the boat were sensitive enough not to pester the leviathan but ride slowly alongside at a safe distance.
One of the most amazing things I have experienced, highly recommended, must do activity. Dolswim - thank you for it.

We had a brilliant time! Julian and Fletcher were very open and talked us through the trip and safety precautions. They were open that we might not spot any, and I appreciated their honesty.
It takes a while to get out to where you might find the whales and there were other boats there. Luckily, we spotted a young sperm whale very quickly! While the other boats raced towards it (with some people going in despite it being illegal!) both Fletcher and Julian remained so respectful of the whales, their personal space while trying to give us the best experience possible.
The other boats weren’t patient and shot off soon after the whale dove deeper. We hung around for a while longer and luckily spotted two more sperm whales. One was resting and we were able to get close alongside for quite a few minutes whilst remaining so respectful.
Julian and Fletcher were fantastic and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I couldn’t recommend more highly!

A experience to remember , a family of sperm whales surrounding the boat, dolswim were a great company that respected the whales until the other boats arrived and people started jumping in and the whales disappeared

Superb trip with just 3 couples, so plenty of space and very relaxed.
Captain and his mate knew the best area to seek the whales. We were privileged to observe 3 humpbacks, including mother and calf. Absolutely amazing and a lifetime memory.
Highly recommend this crew who kept a respectful distance from the whales.

Clovis and Yobis were both superb guides. We felt safe and they went above and beyind in giving us the best chance of seeing the whales without causing them undue sress Other companies illegally allow their passengers to swim with the whales causing them stress. The tour operator was a of a bit unapproachable demeanor and it was difficult to locate the start place
It felt rude during the start
But the team of 2 who did the tour was awesome
Thanks to both of them we were able to see the whale multiple times

The experience in itself is interesting but the tour guides were unfriendly and not very informative. We spent most of the time completely soaked and freezing, due to rough winds, but no one ever informed us that we should bring a change of clothes / ponchos to protect us from the freezing water. Once we got back on shore the tour guides dashed off and didn’t even say goodbye to us or any of the other guests. Disappointed and would recommend that the organisers become more client facing and friendly for future trips.

We really enjoyed seeing the whales (4) and managed to get plenty of photos as the boat was near to them, whilst respecting their environment. We were told that there is around a 65% chance of seeing whales, so would have been a different experience if none were seen

We seemed to be fairly lucky on our trip as we saw a lot of whales / families of whales and spent almost the entire time out with them, not just hunting for them - but the crew made it clear from the start there was no guarantee of finding them. Definitely set my expectations low for it so as to avoid disappointment but it was a great trip & crew seemed very conscious of the animals welfare and making sure we didn’t scare or make them uncomfortable in any way.

The „search“ for whales was stopped after 45 min and the trip was turned into a dolphin encounter trip. Arrived there we stayed just a few minutes by dolphins and went back to beach to disembark. The booked tour should last 3 hours but we were already back at the beach just 1,5 hours after the tour started!

We missed our allotted time by 20mins. Not out fault if there’s an accident on route. We explained this on the phone. 2 hours of travelling knocking on there office door to be told we couldn’t even use the facilities. No offer of a re book. Would never recommend a none flexible company

Out of respect to our other clients on this tour, we could not delay the departure time.
Our representative on site, with whom you spoke on the phone, informed you that we couldn't rebook you to another date since our tours were already fully booked for the whole week. Hence, although we have a 100% cancellation fee as from 24 hrs before tour start, you were offered a full refund.
We do not have an office/any facilities at or near our departure point. If so had been the case, you had of course been welcome to use them.

See whales for a few seconds. Skipper and his crew didn't explain anything unless we asked them.
Be aware, the moment we get ul on these boat and after taking money.. they said that probably we couldn't see any whales. So if you want to go back just say now.. little disappointing.
Everything is exclude even if you thought you paid..

Brilliant trip, very lucky to have seen so many whales, a pod of 5 then one of 6 and to finish off a huge male! The trip was short and to the point but meant we got to see the whales and do more with the rest of our day. Great guys and clearly have a good system for location

We saw at least 7 sperm whales, being watched for like 15 minutes. They guys were really good with some luck of course. Highly recommend.
