Dress appropriately
The ground in the lion enclosure is very uneven and flat walking shoes/trainers are advisable not the diamonty strappy sandals I’ve seen some wearing.

Walk with the lions is a must
Great day at casela, the lion walk was amazing and definitely worth paying extra for. They also do lots of other extras you can book through the website or on the day like feeding rhinos, interacting with cheetahs etc

Amazing sights
This was a great excursion! I had a blast and everyone was kind and helpful. We had a great time! I would recommend again

Disappointed with the park activities. The transportation to the park worked well.
The driver who transported us to the park was on time, humble, courteous and helpful. The park otself was a bit disappointing since the Safari did not meet our expectation. The Tulawaka gold coaster ride was a nightmare- one of the cars in which one from our group was riding got stuck midair and it took 30 mins for technicians to come fix the stuck car and everyone riding behind to get to the ground safely. That was too much.

  • You can buy your tickets on the day or online; Mauritian residents and kids get discounted entry.

  • There are two restaurants in the park and several kiosks serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.

  • A gift shop at the park sells stuffed animals and handmade crafts.

  • Because of the natural terrain, not all park areas are suited to strollers and visitors with limited mobility.
