Great tour! Lino and Yoni were extremely patient and never rushed us. They gave us multiple opportunities to swim with the dolphins. We also got to see a huge sperm whale, and the crew waited another 45mins just to see if it may resurface again. I'd recommend this company if you're looking for a wonderful day out on the water.

Very enjoyable morning out at sea meeting whales and dolphins.
Dolswin are a well known, organisation specialising in ethical experiences, and this was clear. As other boats were happy to allow large numbers of people to jump into the water with the Dolphins, Dolswin are really mindful of the animals and limit the number of people who go in the water (due to smaller boats) and limit the time people spend in the water too. Boats from other companies are not so respectful. This more even more obvious when encountering the whales. We found 3 sperm whales and carefully navigated around them - allowing them to swim by closely but without us interfering (we were asked to be quiet where near them). We were not permitted to swim with the whales. Again, other boats were happy for people to jump in. To be clear - this is distressing for the whales and NOT permitted by the Mauritian authorities.
They offer soft drinks on board and the 2 crew were kind and helpful. Snorkeling gear is provided for those wishing to get into the water when instructed by the crew. But there's no pressure to get in. You can quite easily sit safely on the boat and still enjoy the nature.
The jetty where you embark/disembark the boat has no facilities so make sure you visit the toilet before arriving. There was a small marine toilet on board but I would suggest it is only to be used if you're desperate.
One note: for our experience, we were back on dry land by 10:30 (not 12:00 as advertised). But I guess that was because we didn't have to spend too long trying to find both the whales and the dolphins 😁 As I mentioned, you are limited as to how long you are around the whales and dolphins.
Overall, a beautiful and memorable experience.

Very lucky trip!! For dolphins there are a lot of people seeking and following. So when they diving into the water, the dolphins will disapper. For the whales we saw around 6 ! Very close and shocked! We will suggest Dolswim!

I had the time of my life, whale watching and swimming with the dolphins. We saw Humpback whales and Sperm whales and 2 groups of dolphins that we had the opportunity to swim with. Snorkelling at a reef to finish things off

We were lucky enough to see mother and calf Humpback whales, Sperm whales and numerous Spinner dolphins.

When I first arrived in Mauritius, I unfortunately booked a tour through an independent tour operator and was shocked by the unethical practices once on the boat. However, the Dolphins Encounter and Whale Watching trip with Dolswim Ltd exceeded my expectations. This trip was the most professional and satisfying excursion that I've experienced since arriving in Mauritius. The skippers took their jobs and the safety of those onboard very seriously at all times. They were also kind, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the sea creatures. I would highly recommend this trip and company.

trip was perfect from the start….despite the long taxi ride across the Island it was worth every penny and minute. The crew were great, we encountered dolphins quickly and I swam inches from them until they out ran me:)
Then to the whales - we were very very lucky straight away a school of Sperm 🐳 for an hour we floated and watched with awe. Thank you for the most stunning experience….. go if you can and be lucky…….

Our family spent the most spectacular early morning on a speedboat with the Dolswim watching whales and dolphins. Julian and Fabio did everything possible to make sure we had a safe and enjoyable trip. At first we went to see whales, the crew kept the needed distance however allowing us to see mom whale with her baby. After we went for the swimming with dolphins, as we are not good swimmers we did not swim but we spent some time enjoyed it nevertheless, especially when you see that the dolphins are so close. After we made a stop to do some snorkelling on the reef to observe the amazing sea life. My daughter did snorkelling the first time and she left a deep impression. Many thanks to Julian and Fabio for this wonderful trip.

We had the most amazing trip seeing the dolpins and whales in their natural habitats. The guys who lead the boat were great and really informative! We saw 2 types of dolphins, hump back whales, pilot whales and sperm whales. I cannot recomment this trip enough, thank you dolswim staff for giving us an amazing experience :) x x

The tour was great and we saw everything. It could only have been explained a bit more and with the whales there were sometimes over 10 boats and there were a lot of people in the water from other providers so you could hardly admire the whales.

Der Veranstalter war organisiert und die Guides/Bootsführer sehr erfahren und kompetent. Es wurde auf Sicherheit geachtet und respektvoll im Umgang mit den Tieren. Beide Guides waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir haben Wale und Delphine gesehen,waren mit den Delfi en schwimmen und später noch schnorcheln. Nur 7 Personen auf einem Boot. Rundum gelungen. Vielen Dank für das Erlebnis.

Obwohl die Fa. Dolswim nur eine 60% Garantie für die Walsichtung überhaupt gibt hatten wir das Gück nicht nur einen sondern gleich 8 Pottwale zu begegnen. Das war schon ein tolles Gefühl. Beim Eintauchen die mächtige Schwanzflosse die zumindest beim ersten Wal fast Bilderbuchmässig in die Höhe schlug und dann im Meer untertauchte. Auch haben wir eine Mutter mit Babywal gesehen die fast parallel geschwommen sind. Ein wirklich schönes Erlebnis. Später haben wir noch viele Delphine gesehen die meistens in Gruppen von 10-15 Tiere die schnell aufgetaucht und genau so schnell wieder abgetaucht sind. Das Schwimmen mit den Delfinen glich einem Wettlauf bzw. Schwimmlauf wobei der Bootsführer das Kommando gab und fast alle der Teilnehmer ins Wasser gesprungen und versucht haben den Tieren zu Folgen. Wir sind sehr begeistert von der Tour. Die Skipper Ronaldo und Fabian waren super. Nach 10 min haben wir Wale gefunden. Diese sind zu unserem Glück gesprungen und hatten sogar ein Baby dabei. Es war super! Danach sind wir mit den Delfinen geschwommen, wo wir in einem Strom mit hunderten Delfinen waren. Nachdem alle geschwommen waren, haben wir noch einen stop zum Schnorcheln gemacht. Es war rundum eine wunderschöne und sehr emfpehlswerte Tour.
