We had a wonderful hike at the 7 Cascades. Our guide, Shameen, was fantastic—knowledgeable, helpful, and full of great stories about the area. We felt completely safe the entire time and really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

Our Hilbig Trip with Shameem was incredible. Yes, the route was difficult, but the views of five waterfalls of the river Tamarin were breathtaking and beautiful. Shameem did a very good job, we felt very taken care of. We thank him and Mauritius hiking a lot!

I recently completed the 7 Waterfalls hike and the scenery was absolutely spectacular — truly the highlight of the experience. Each waterfall had its own charm, and the lush surroundings made the journey feel wonderfully immersive. Our guide, Shameem, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about the area. His insights added so much more depth to the experience. That said, the hike was definitely not moderate. I found it extremely difficult, with very slippery and steep downhill sections, followed by some tough, deeper uphill climbs. Anyone considering it should be prepared for a demanding trek and wear proper footwear. Beautiful, but far more strenuous than advertised.

I had an uncomfortable experience with the guide, Mohamed. He behaved in a discriminatory and condescending way towards my country, which made me feel unwelcome. I came to enjoy my time, not to hear comparisons about whose country is better or who has more money. Also, he was constantly far ahead of me, even when something happened or I needed assistance — he showed no concern or support. The area we were in had several risky and slippery spots where it’s easy to fall, and he was nowhere to be seen if anything were to happen. I didn’t feel safe or comfortable with him throughout the experience.

This experience was amazing. The guide (mohammad) was extremely helpful! He made sure our hike was smooth and helped us navigate the mountain easily. Ps: you need to be somehow fit because im not and it was challenging.
