This was a 3.5 hour tour with our guide. Great not to have to queue at the palace as the guide walked us straight through. Great way to have an understanding of the city and where things are for first time travellers. Make sure you take water and snack as there is little time to stop. Chef Laila and her daughters were absolutely delightful. They were charismatic and provided a very hands-on experience. Food was delicious and we learned so much about Moroccan cuisine. He was patient, accommodating of our group’s different needs and dynamics, and even took some lovely pictures of us to capture the memories. 📸❤️ We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The absolute best thing about booking a private tour

The absolute best thing about booking a private tour is the flexibility to make the tour your very own. For example, our itinerary only provided 30 minutes for Jardin Majorelle, but we were so enchanted that we ended up staying 2.5 hours seeing Jardin Majorelle and The Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts (which is drop dead gorgeous). Of course it helped that we had pre-purchased a combination ticket. Our guide, Aissam, allowed us to dramatically change the itinerary. Which we appreciated deeply. Besides being very knowledgeable and English fluent, Aissam shared interesting facts about the various cultures in Morocco.

Amazing tour

Abdul was our guide, taking us deep into the souks, imparting historical and cultural insight along the way. There were winding corridors, with merchants selling a huge variety of goods - metalware, fabric, jewellery, ceramics. We visited the bakery, a wood artisan, and a fabric dying workshop, with the artisans explaining their process. We also visited a pharmacy selling teas, oils and creams - useful loo stop too. The tour took about 2½ hours, and Abdul guided us through the labyrinth, ensuring he didn't lose anyone on the way! A great morning. Thank you.

Truly the best and most amazing way to learn more about the souks and shop without feeling overwhelmed! I HIGHLY recommend touring the souks with someone first. Mohammed tailored to the tour to our interests and was so kind and helpful. It was so enjoyable spending half the day with him! He is a wealth of information and fun to be around. I can’t say enough great things. He took us to so many beautiful shops and gave us great information about the souks. If you are able to book this tour, you should!

Worth the money.

Youssef insulted us almost straight away by assuming we were English 🤪, we corrected him and forgave him 🤣, he turned out to be a very good guide, very knowledgeable about history, he gave us time and space to visit the places and answered any questions we had. And he promised he would try haggis when he visits Scotland. The only thing I will say, you are not taken to traditional souks, you are taken to a spices store, then a department store which sells everything at fixed prices.
