Outstanding Experience – Incredible Value and Exceptional Guide!
This was hands-down one of the best value Viator excursions we have ever done anywhere in the world. I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Our guide, Hicham, was fantastic from start to finish. He reached out with excellent communication regarding our pickup. Because we stayed at the Iberostar Palmeraie, which is located outside of Marrakech, our excursion lasted over 7 hours (from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM). Even with the extra distance, the pickup and drop-off were perfectly on time and completely hassle-free. The journey out took a bit of time as we picked up other guests from their hotels, but Hicham kindly provided us with water to keep us comfortable along the way.
Before reaching the desert, we made a stop at a local women’s cooperative shop. It was a lovely experience with absolutely no pressure to buy anything.
Once we arrived at the desert camp, Hicham continued to take excellent care of our group. The activities were incredibly well-organized:
Quad Bikes:
An absolute blast! We spent about 50 minutes riding around the desert tracks. My partner and I shared a quad, and they let us stop halfway for photos. They even gave us the option to swap drivers halfway through if someone just wanted a short turn to try it out. Great fun all around.
Camel Ride:
A beautiful, peaceful 20-minute ride around a track. It was the perfect, tranquil contrast to the high-energy quad biking.
Dinner & Show:
Hicham personally showed us to our seats for the evening. Water was provided on the tables, and there is a small shop on-site if you want to purchase soft drinks. The food was delicious and very much needed after the activities—we were served traditional Moroccan soup, chicken tagine, potatoes, vegetables, and couscous.The entertainment started with traditional Moroccan music, followed by some more upbeat songs that got everyone up and dancing. The night ended beautifully with an excellent and entertaining fire show!!
We were dropped off safely right outside our hotel at the end of the evening. From the thrilling activities to the great food and Hicham’s attentive care, the entire experience was flawless.

Shopping in the Souks with a guide as exactly as stated...
As stated in the description of this tour, we covered most places it stated and the guide also asked what we wanted to see...it was a good blend of shops and experience to help you understand the souks and how to get around without feeling pressured to buy anything. Guide was helpful and spoke good english.

A great trip with fantastic views.
Once again my trip organised through Viator created memories that will last with me forever.
The views of the Atlas Mountains were spectacular to say the least and enabled us to see a whole other side to Morocco.
We were collected promptly from our hotel by our guide Ismail who with his absolutely fantastic knowledge made the trip a great experience.
The first visit was for a traditional Berber breakfast which included some lovely bread and tea but my favourite was the local honey- a must try. We then had a demonstration of how the Argan oil is produced and made a couple of small purchases.
Following this we continued our drive and learning courtesy of Ismail before another brief call for coffee beside a babbling brook.
When we set off again the scenery took on a whole new level and small villages nestled on hill sides created some cinematic photography opportunities.
We were then handed over to a local Berber guide Ali who took us on a walk through the countryside for a couple of miles which was fairly easy going. It did give us chance to meet the local people who were all extremely friendly. Ali’s local knowledge of medicinal qualities of the flora and fauna showed me things that have been forgotten in our own communities.
We were then treated to a very tasty lunch cooked by Fatiha and assisted by Khadijjah. Their hospitality was warm and welcoming.
Although there were no further main stops after lunch Ismail knew all of the best vantage points to get the great views and regularly stopped to take these in.
We were the only couple on the trip which was advantageous, especially when you saw other groups along the way that seemed large and unwieldy. The trip overall lasted around seven hours and provided excellent value and we wouldn’t hesitate going again.

Highly recommend trip.
Fantastic day. Punctual pick-up with great communication beforehand. Lovely air-conditioned minibus for the drive out into the desert. The guides were brilliant and had a great sense of humour, especially when other not so bright travellers were asking about the 'donkeys' (camels) 🤣
They made sure were well looked after and where we were supposed to be despite how busy it was. The quad biking is great fun (make sure you have a scarf and sunglasses for protection against the dust and sand) and the sunset views were spectacular. The food was really tasty and the sunset entertainment and fire show was captivating. A highly recommended trip with these guys.
