Don’t question whether you need a private tour - you do. Trust me.
A wonderful experience from start to finish. We travels to Morocco on a group tour but pealed away from the group and booked a private guide. We moved effortlessly throughout the Medina and were able to spend time shopping at our leisure. The Medina gets quite crowded and the passages are narrow which would make a group tour unbearable. This is the way to go!

Flexible, Accommodating Guide
My tour guide was very accommodating and adjusted the tour per my request. Even though the lines were long, he was able to bypass the lines to get my tickets. He was also willing to adjust the tour per my requests and interests and I appreciate the accommodations.

Accurate
Mohammed provided a thoughtful and well researched tour. He was very accommodating to my mother who had hurt her leg prior to the trip and was easy to work with and accessible. I highly recommend

Marrakech Medina (Medina of Marrakesh)
  • Pickpockets are common in the medina, so keep an eye on your belongings and leave valuables at your hotel.

  • Haggling is expected in the souks, so don’t accept the first price; you might end up paying less than a third of the original offer!

  • Many of the narrow lanes and souks are only accessible on foot, so wear comfortable shoes and expect to do lots of walking.

  • Modest dress is required inside mosques and other places of worship, so both men and women should have their shoulders and knees covered.

  • While Jemaa el-Fna and most of the main attractions are accessible, the narrow and uneven roads of the medina, especially the souks, can be challenging for wheelchair users.
