Ishmael arrived on time. He was very friendly we had great time at the tour. He took us to very nice and interesting places . Thanks Ishmael !
Ismail was a wonderful tour guide who took us through the souks with planned stops along the way. Shared the history and information about the area.
It was a great introduction to the souks of Marrakech. After this tour you’ll know what to look for if you want to do a deeper dive.
Abdul was our guide, taking us deep into the souks, imparting historical and cultural insight along the way.
There were winding corridors, with merchants selling a huge variety of goods - metalware, fabric, jewellery, ceramics.
We visited the bakery, a wood artisan, and a fabric dying workshop, with the artisans explaining their process. We also visited a pharmacy selling teas, oils and creams - useful loo stop too.
The tour took about 2½ hours, and Abdul guided us through the labyrinth, ensuring he didn't lose anyone on the way!

Great start to any trip to Marrakech - Ismail was brilliant - very friendly and knowledgable, highly recommended!
Our tour was in the morning and very hot. I cant think how an afternoon tour would be like.
Remember to take water and a fan.
We enjoyed the two and a half hour tour but found it tiring as no stops for refreshment.
I would like to have more time for browsing the shops/ stalls.

Mo showed us all around the central souks with information about each area. It was good to be taken off the beaten track into the artisan areas. We enjoyed hot sand coffee, and made a few purchases encouraged by Mo to haggle. It was a good start to our Marrakech holiday. The following day we bumped into him with a group of 6 in Le Secret Jardin (do go!). I had hired him just for myself & my daughter.

We were a little cautious about navigating the medina by ourselves so we booked this tour in the hope that we could enjoy the sights without being hassled and also learn a little something of the history. The tour did not disappoint - Hakeem was full of knowledge and shared so many interesting stories with us. He conducted the tour at a pace that suited us and our children and allowed us time to browse when we wanted. He was brilliant with the children, took us to see some really amazing artisans and was generally just a really kind and interesting man - highly recommend!

This is a great tour for early in your trip so you can get a handle on the souks. We bought so much cool stuff including a rug! A wonderful tour.

Our guide (Rachid) was entertaining and very professional.
He made our tour of the Medina Souks interesting and informative and gave us some valuable pointers to purchase genuine items from the myriad of Souks. The tour was a good way to get your bearings in the complex lanes and alleyways of the Medina.

We loved the tour. We booked this for the very start of our trip and are glad that we did. Rachid G showed us and another couple round the markets, and we had a few key stops - our favourite was the herbalist and Wadid was our lovely host who talked us through all the herbs, spices, oils and medicines. Really helpful to understand the dos and don’ts of the medina before tackling haggling! Thanks Rachid, we had a great time.

This is a shopping tour of the souks versus a history of the different souks. You are taken off the beaten track, which was kind of nice. Unfortunately many of the shops were closed due to the Eid holiday.

Our tour was okay. It was good to get our bearings on the souks and be more comfortable with it. However at times it felt like we were being taken to the guides friends stores where the prices were high and products were not unique. Additionally, we were not given tips on how to haggle or what good prices were. We found we got better prices on our own. We did like the carpet place and found unique rugs for a good price. Overall, would recommend just door get comfortable with the souks and then do more shopping on your own!

This was really walk through the medina, guiding there was not. Most of the time guide was talking on the phone. He rushed through the medina like he was hurry to be somewhere else. It looked like there was really no plan except trying to get us inside some partner shops.

Good introduction to the souks- but did not expect it to be a high end shopping trip. We were taken to several places where we felt pressured into buying. The prices were very high and we felt ripped off. We felt the tour guide made us more vulnerable, and did not offer the protection from this as we expected.

The tour guide was nice but our tour was supposed to last 2.5 hours. The guide kept taking us to all the people he knew to try and get us to buy something. It was obvious. After we didn't purchase anything, he told us the tour is over because he had another tour. The total time of the tour was 1 hour, 15 minutes

This was a great tour. Our tour guide Mohammed was knowledgeable and helpful. Our group was small and quite nice. I recommend pinning any shops you wish to revisit on Google Maps. The souk is quite the maze. The guide definitely stops at partner vendors but that’s okay. I appreciated the vendors and purchased many items.
The meeting place has many different groups and can be a bit chaotic. Don’t worry. Your guide will track you down.
