This class was fantastic from start to finish. We did the experience with Kawtar and Khmisa, and both were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making the entire experience feel relaxed and fun. This was our first cooking class experience ever, and we loved learning about all of the spices and how to properly prepare everything step by step. We learned so much about Moroccan cooking, loved receiving the recipes afterward, and really enjoyed shopping together for all of the fresh ingredients. The appetizers and tagines we prepared were absolutely delicious and full of flavor, and everything felt very authentic. My father works in a steakhouse back home in the U.S., and this tour was a highlight of our trip for him, which says a lot. We also loved meeting other travelers from around the world during the class. Being able to purchase small packets of the spices to take home was a great touch. My father and I did this tour together and loved every part of it. This was one of the highlights of our trip and an easy 5-star experience that I highly recommend.

This was such a fun experience — honestly one of my favorite things I did.
We did the cooking class in someone’s home, which made it feel so personal and authentic. We made so many different dishes, and let me tell you… the food was AMAZING. Like real, authentic Moroccan cuisine — everything tasted so good.
I’ve done a few cooking classes before, and this is definitely one of the best ones I’ve done. The whole experience was just fun, welcoming, and something I’d 100% do again.
If you’re in Morocco, just do it. Don’t even think about it.

Experience was underwhelming. Host was nice, she translated for the chef - participants did some chopping around a big table. Food was quite good, but dynamic between participants wasn’t great which made for a lackluster evening.

Outstanding experience. Meet up point was easy to find. Our guide was friendly, informative and spoke perfect English. We were paired with another family (9 people total). We usually do private experiences but I’m glad we didn’t. This was much more fun with a group. Even our teenage daughter to her surprise liked it! We all took part in the shopping in the market followed by the cooking. This was our first meal outside of the 5-star hotel we are staying at and was hands down the best food we’ve had so far in Marrakech. I highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely incredible experience. Really central location so easy to find. Experience starts with buying ingredients and then treated to mint tea demo before the cooking starts. Thorough explanation of all the steps and info and about ingredients with lovely tutors. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech, we are already planning our Moroccan dinner party!

From start to finish — this was the highlight of our trip. Chef took us to the souk to shop for the freshest ingredients and then to the workshop for cooking and eating. Such a wonderful experience and warm atmosphere and great tasting food!! Thank you for such warm hospitality!

Absolutely incredible. What a way to be immersed in the culture and meet people! We walked through the market and picked out produce before preparing our meal. We were in a group of 10 total, and everyone had an opportunity to help with the meal. While we prepared the meal, the chefs talked about the different ingredients and spices. When we finished preparing the main courses, we enjoyed the starters and were able to pour our own tea, the Moroccan way. We made zaalouk, caramelized carrots, tomato salad, potato salad, chicken tagine, and vegetables with chermoula sauce. During dinner, we shared stories with the others around the table. After the class, we were sent recipes for everything we prepared. We are looking forward to making a traditional Moroccan meal for friends!

Very friendly hosts, had a short walk in the market to get some produce and then walked to the nearby kitchen. Fully hands on cooking experience, lots of Information shared with us about the food and cooking process. We sat down and enjoyed the food we cooked at the end. Would highly recommend.

This was an excellent activity. The group were lovely and our host was fabulous. We went shopping and then prepared our tasty meal together. Using spices and fresh produce with wonderful guidance, we created an amazing 3 course lunch. Wound definitely recommend this experience.

Chef Khmisa was incredible!! The whole experience was unique. We were nervous it might be too long but when it was done we wished it was longer. Enjoyed every part of the process!

Great experience, it was fun and super tasty! Khmisa and her aunt were very friendly, showed us how to make traditional Moroccan food and later we got all the recipes. I'll definitely try to make it at home :)

This was absolutely fantastic. One of our favorite experiences of the trip. The guide was very knowledgeable and communicated very well and her auntie provided the very authentic touches of how to cook in this culture. I learned so much. The food we ended up making was some of the best that we’ve eaten the whole trip.
Also, we don’t drink green tea and they went out of their way to brew us a pot of mint tea without the green tea, which was so considerate and no one else has done for us. Highly, highly recommend.

It's a great hands on experience learning about local cuisine. Everything is explained in full and no question goes unanswered.
Then to top it all off you sit down as a group and enjoy what you've created.
Took my partner on her birthday as she loves to cook and she loved it whilst Aldo walking away with some new recipes and cooking skills.
