It was an overall great time. The pickup was easy and the driver was safe. We stopped at a Women’s Argan oil Co-Op which was lovely. Camel ride was short but cool, and the quad ride was super fun. Dinner was yummy and the shows were super fun. Our guide for the day Nouhaila was fantastic and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Mariam our guide was helpful and informative, the trip was well planned and punctual to the times of the activities. For the price its a steal, 40 min on quad bikes, quick camel ride, nice dinner and funny local show + thrilling fire show with a dessert view, highly recommend

The Agafay Desert was a VIBE! The sunset views, camel ride, and quad biking were on point. Moroccan vibes were great, but the local dinner wasn't my thing. Still, the starry night sky made up for it. Aznag, our tour guide, made the experience even better with his awesome hospitality and knowledge. The Agafay desert is a perfect escape from Marrakech. I highly recommend for an epic desert adventure..

This was such a whole/some experience. Enjoyed every bit of it especially riding the Quad bikes and dinner afterwards. Special thanks to Rabia-Our guide. She was very warm, welcoming, humorous communicated to us excellently. I would definitely be doing this again.

It was well organized. All were so friendly and accommodating. From our driver Adil shop spent the entire time with us watching out for us and keeping track of us went above and beyond. He was an incredible driver and got us back in one of the worst hail storms Marrakech has seen.

We had fun! It's a tourist excursion with many ATVs and camels in a line together, but hey when are you ever going to ride a camel in the desert in Morocco?

The Best Experience

During this experience there is so much that you are able to do and we’d truly describe it as nonstop fun. We particularly enjoyed the Quads/Four-wheelers although some people did not have experience with them it is similar to riding a bike just with a gas throttle to go. You’ll be guided through the desert on the quad, have a short camel ride, and have great food and fire show. The only downsides at all are at dinner you need to manage your time with the fire show and may need to go down to watch then come back up to finish eating. The food may get a little cool during this time but we did not mind as it tasted great. Otherwise something to be aware of is the Camels can be abused to some extent within Morocco we did not see that here but it is something to be aware of especially if you feel strong connections with animals. Overall an amazing tour and I would recommend for anyone visiting Morocco as it was our personal favorite of the week. CHAMA is an especially amazing guide and we would recommend her specifically.

The fire show and quad bike riding are great to experience in the dessert. The activities and dining venue are not quite as pictured in the photos. Further to that the guide did not actually meet us or pick us up at our Riad as advertised. We had to go to them. The sunset and stars in the sky along with the activities is what makes this special.

Generally a great experience - with a few glitches. We had booked departure at 3:30, but it was moved to 2:00, which meant that we had to cancel an earlier planned activity. Also we could not bring ourselves to do the camel ride - it did not seem that the animals were treated well.

Such a memorable experience!! Allow about 5-6 hours including transfers, but worth it. Camel ride is only 15 mins but still a unique experience. Quad bike 45 min trip is star of the show. Lovely dinner & show to finish things off. A must do experience & our guide Rabbia was excellent!!

Please think twice before booking a camel ride in Morocco. They are facing exploitation, overwork and inadequate care, particularly in mass tourism areas like Marrakech and the Agafay Desert where tour operators are abusing them to feed into demand for rides and photography. Due to my ignorance, I was guilty of booking a camel ride and quad bike tour on Viator without first reading into it and discovered first hand from participating on this tour recently how badly mistreated these camels are. The head of the poor camel I rode on was tied so tightly to the back of the camel in front of it that its head and neck was constantly twisting to the point it was not even capable of seeing ahead. Each time the camels in front were forcefully hit by the tour operator to make them sit down, the head of my camel would then be forced down by the weight of the camel in front, making the camel I was on also sit down. The camels could be constantly heard moaning in discomfort and when I lifted one the harnesses strapped around the nose of the camel behind me, I could see how deeply the harness had cut into the skin and flesh of the camel. There were 45-50 camels being operated by this particular tour. The ride lasted for 15 minutes, and there were hundreds of tourists each taking their turn on a camel ride for several hours throughout the evening. I feel so saddened and traumatised by this experience and hate myself for having fed into the problem. I am therefore taking this opportunity to advocate for these gentle and intelligent creatures and ask you to please think twice before booking a camel ride yourself. Thank you.

Wonderful experience in the Agafay Desert!!! Quad ride was perfect! Camel ride was short, more of a photo op, but enough, and dinner was delicious!!! Loved the show during and after dinner! I only wish our pick up spot was a bit more concise, but once Omar found us, everything was perfect!!! Also, Omar our driver was wonderful!!! All in all, highly recommend!!

Excellent excursion. Bring a scarf or buy a turban to cover your nose and mouth. It will get dusty as you ride the quad bikes. The bikes are a lot of fun. The food was delicious. Our camp had live music and ended with an amazing fire show.

A wonderful trip - well organised & super fun. The views of the Atlas Mountains are enough to book this trip but the quad biking, meal & fire show afterwards were all so great. The camel ride wasn’t enjoyable but this may be my personal beliefs/opinions. I wouldn’t avoid this trip based on that though, I simply would decline the ride next time!

The tour was excellent. The tour included camel ride and ATV ride. The food included in the tour magnificent., it was Morrocan food, included soup, amazing coscus, chicken, bread, pastry, bottle of water and mini tea . The fire show was amazing .

Incredible tour with our kids

This was incredible. Travelled with husband and 2 kids, they picked us up near our Riad, quad and camel ride was great but the best bit was the incredible 4 course meal by sunset. Rabia our guide txt us the day before with all the info we needed, she was amazing on the day and super helpful. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience for us and our kids.

Food and light show the best

Transportation to and from was smooth and safe. Argan oil cooperative visit was nice. Next was the quad ride. Fun but our bike had some problems. Helmet shields very scratched impeding views of fantastic scenery. Camel ride short - but makes good photo opportunity. Camels tied closely one behind other. Dinner was really good. Show - get there early to have a comfy seat otherwise you get a log to sit on. Doesn’t start til it gets dark Two men playing musical instruments- show could be better. Then light show announced in different area. We all scrambled to go get good view. No seats, just sit on concrete edge of wall. Fantastic show put on by 2 young men. Overall, we had fun.

Wonderful experience!!! Must do if you can’t make it to the Sahara!! Our driver/ guide Adli was fast and effective. The stop for tea on the way was a lovely treat. The couscous and chicken at dinner was delicious. This was a great cultural experience. Absolutely recommend.

Not good communication when we got to the quad ride and show. Ended up on the quad ride for and hour instead of 20 mins. So never got to the camel ride , then started to rain so went into the building for dinner snd never got to see the fire show. They needed to keep better control over the group on timing of events! The fire show went on and even people in our group didn’t hear that it would be performed early because of the weather! Just need more communication!

We had such an amazing experience in the Agafay Desert! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and ran so smoothly. Our tour guide Rabiaa was absolutely wonderful she was on time, very professional, and incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole experience. She made us feel comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. The driver was very nice too. The activities were unforgettable. The quad biking was so exciting, the camel ride was a beautiful and peaceful experience in the desert, and the dinner was absolutely lovely. The evening was made even more special with the fire show, which was such a fun and memorable highlight. Everything was well planned, seamless, and enjoyable thanks to our amazing tour guide. We truly appreciated how friendly, attentive, and thoughtful Rabiaa was. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Marrakech. it was a magical evening in the Agafay Desert!

Slightly chaotic

You get what you pay for Had to chase about pick up and time suddenly changed by two hours so prebooked things we had planned were very rushed If I hadn’t chase I’m not sure when we would have been told at all Car journey is good and short but unnecessary stop at a Berber argan oil place to try and flog things that no one wanted Eventually everyone in the group just waited by the mini van Quad bike was fun but slightly dangerous and no training or checks on whether you can even drive so some people really struggled and it’s quite a Rocky long terrain Long wait between quad bike and camel and was really cold and windy Camel ride only ten mins but our tour guide Abdo was very helpful when he was visibly around and they take lots of pictures for you for free Food was average but took so long and was so chaotic and cold some people were forgotten and didn’t eat for over an hour and missed the entertainment afterwards, we had to repeatedly ask for our food as bigger groups were prioritised Then we waited even longer for the music show which was like a school disco but funny and fire show which was decent - but the whole trip isn’t 5 hours as advertised but more like 7 hours so can’t have any evening plans and it’s extremely cold To reiterate abdo and the driver were great I just wish less people (less than the 150) were included so things were more efficient and that they warned re clothing and warmth and perhaps if you had an option to just do the camel and quad bike and then leave it would be sufficient for the money you pay and you wouldn’t feel constricted

The van they pick us up in is new and comfortable. The hosts are multilingual and very nice and helpful. The camel ride is very short, just a photo op really. The camels didn't look to happy. The quad ride was lots of fun and a great time just before sunset. Pretty views. Plenty of food for dinner and a fun show afterwards. Really enjoyed it. Would recommend to any first timers.

This is a recommended activity when in Marakesh. Mariam and the driver were very kind and patient to us all, very accomodating too. I’d say this was our main activity on our Morocco trip, the quad bike + camel ride + dinner with a sunset view was all perfect! The moroccan foods were lovely too 👍👍

I’ve been over 22 countries and have done countless Viator activities. This one is an absolute must do activity. Quad ride, camel ride, delicious dinner and an epic fire show. I highly recommend this group since you are doing everything closer to where dinner is served and seemed like they have priority over other groups.
