We had an amazing time exploring the Agafay Desert! The scenery was stunning — vast rocky landscapes that felt like another world. Our guide, Tarek, was fantastic; he shared so much interesting information about the desert, camels, and local culture, which made the experience even more special. The camel ride was fun and peaceful, and we enjoyed delicious Moroccan tea while taking in breathtaking views. The whole trip was very well organized, and the driver was friendly and professional. Definitely a must-do if you’re visiting the area!

Tariq, our guide was really lovely very friendly and good communication pre-pick up and on the trip itself. We did the camel ride and quad bike option both were great the camel ride thankfully isn’t too long about 20 minutes which is perfect. Then the quad back was really fun with the driver we had for that. The evening with the entertainment and food was a great way to end the evening. Yes, we visited a woman’s cooperative for the argen oil but it wasn’t hard sell at all.

Our tour guide Tareq was excellent! He did a great job of ensuring each guest was having a great time, and of providing useful commentary. We had a wonderful time riding the camels and having a peaceful dinner in the desert, and we would definitely recommend the tour to anyone in Marrakech looking for a unique experience!

Tarek, our tour guide was kind, warm and so knowledgeable. He remembered our names immediately. Picked us up at our hotel right on time. The camel ride was so fun, the dinner afterwards was authentic and delicious. Tarek also gave us interesting facts about the camels and the area as well. The fireshow was incredible. Highly recommend.

Such an amazing day! From the women’s cooperative where we learned how argan oil is made, to the camel ride, to dinner and the fire show under the stars in Agafay — every bit of it was an experience! Big shoutout to Imrane who was super helpful even from the night before, helping us pick and put the group together. Highly recommend!

What a fabulous tour! Everyone we met along the way was so very nice and helpful! Our driver was amazing and was with the entire duration of the tour. He took us to each location along the way. We loved visting the women's Argan oil cooperative! The oil was amazing and we had to purchase some to bring back home. From there, we traveled into the Agafy desert and rode quads and camels. During both experiences, the lead tour operative took amazing pictures of our group! They really took the time to make sure we were taken care of and had amazing pictures. Afterwards, our driver took us to a traditional Berber camp and had dinner and a light show! Eating dinner in the desert was an experice we will never forget. We loved every second of our tour and really attribute that to our driver, the guide during the ATVs and the guide during the camel ride. One of, if not the best trip excursion we have ever been on!

It was magic!! Tareq was amazing guiding us through the experience, thank you for sharing important information of maroccan culture from the beginning to the end . We enjoyed everything, the tea in the desert, the visit to the cooperative, where they showed us how they produce argan oil, the CAMEL RIDE with the explanation about the importance of camels in maroccan culture, and finally the dinner in the desert. The atmosphere was super and the entertainments after were very fun and astonishing! Thanks to all of you guys, our first time in Marrakesh was unique thanks to this experience!

The guide (Tareq) was really flexible with pickup. We had delay in a morning guided tour where bus breakdown caused unplanned delay. Tareq worked with the previous tour guide and picked us up from a different location.
Rest of the tour was amazing. Cannot recommend high enough.

One of the most magical experiences of our entire trip! The sunset over the Agafay Desert was absolutely stunning, the camel ride was a highlight for the whole group including our little one, and the fire show under the stars was truly spectacular. Dinner was delicious with beautiful Moroccan music setting the perfect atmosphere. Our guide Tareq was exceptional — warm, attentive, and so passionate about sharing his culture. He took care of every detail and made our group feel special the entire evening. 100% recommend — don’t miss this if you’re in Marrakech!

The staff was communicative with transportation arrangements! Very helpful by taking pictures of my friend and I while we were on the camel. The team was constantly checking in with us during the fire show, ensuring that we were enjoying ourselves and well taken care of.

The whole experience was well worth the time. Great fun riding on Camels. A wonderful Tajene chicken dinner. Music and dancing followed by a spectacular fire breathing show. Our guide Tareque was informative, friendly and attentive.

A must for anyone travelling to Marrakesh! The scenery of the desert is amazing. It’s more rocky than sandy but doesn’t disappoint. Riding the camels and quad bikes at dusk was surreal with the sunset. Everything was well organised and safe.
Food was good and we loved the fire show at the end. Make sure you pack an extra layer of clothes as it’s cold and windy once tge sun goes down.
Make sure you listen to the guide and wear your seatbelt in the mini bus. The local police wear stopping all traffic to check, one lady in our group was fined £24 / 300 DAH because she wasn’t wearing hers.

A wonderful, well organised trip to Agafay desert led by Jjwad. You get to tour an argan oil cooperative, go camel riding and end with a traditional dinner at a peaceful location, complete with live music and an impressive fire show. One of the best evening activities you can do here!

When we signed up for the experience it seemed clear that we could get picked up at our Riad in the Medina. We included the address and it was even confirmed. HOWEVER, the van is too large to enter the medina so we were contacted by the guide who informed us we needed to meet outside the Medina. It was a 15 minute walk. We were picked up in a large vehicle that was supposed to be air conditioned but it was not. It was hot and uncomfortable for the entire ride. Our first stop was at a shop where local women described the products they made. We had some mint tea. The camel ride was a fun experience. 20 minutes of being led on a camel on a designated path around. The camels were all connected. The dinner was couscous, chicken tagine and veggies. When it was served it was really a portion for one person. We asked for more chicken and veggies that was brought but the server seemed to be annoyed. We had one water each and could have had sodas but unless you went looking for them no one came to ask us about it. There was dancing and a 4 piece "band" that went around from table to table playing music assuming they'd get tips. Some people got up to dance with them but it was loud and annoying to us. The fire show was entertaining but only lasted 10 minutes.

We really enjoyed the Agafay Desert camel ride and dinner experience overall and felt it was good value for money.
Tareq, our guide, was very attentive throughout the trip and did an excellent job keeping the group organised and making sure nobody got lost during the evening.
The camel ride, sunset atmosphere and entertainment made for a very memorable experience.
A few practical things future visitors may find useful to know:
- alcoholic drinks did not appear to be available
- the minibus air conditioning was quite weak on a warm day
- some of the plates and bowls used during dinner were chipped and could probably do with being replaced
Overall though, the experience was enjoyable and the staff were friendly and hardworking throughout.

This tour was well organized and very fun! The pickup by our driver (Murat) was easy and on time. The camel ride was exciting and also hilarious! Our guide (Tareq) offered to take pics of us with our own cameras; I found this extremely helpful as a solo traveller. At the dinner location Tareq advised me where to sit to catch the perfect sunset view, which i greatly appreciated. The dinner was delicious, and the live music and fire show were delightful and whimsical. Thank you Tareq and Murat for this wonderful experience!

There is a lot of hanging around, and another Argan oil women's co-operative (which I wasn't aware of). Also the camel trek (track, about 20 mins) was not at sunset, about an hour before, and dinner wasn't under the stars, we went inside because it was so cold and windy.

Regarding the camel ride, we would like to clarify that we do not mention that the camel ride takes place exactly during sunset. As described, guests enjoy the sunset atmosphere at the camp area, which can vary depending on timing and weather conditions.
Concerning the dinner under the stars, unfortunately the weather on that day was cold, windy, and cloudy, so for the comfort and safety of our guests, dinner was arranged inside the camp instead. Weather conditions are beyond our control, and we always try to provide the best possible experience according to the circumstances.
