Jawad, our guide and Amin, our driver were both great. We got to each stop very safely and our guide was very knowledgeable. Had a wonderful time with fantastic views of the Atlas mountaina during the camel ride. The dinner was delicious and enjoyed the music and the fire show. I would definitely recommend this experience. Fun and relaxing evening!

A must for anyone travelling to Marrakesh! The scenery of the desert is amazing. It’s more rocky than sandy but doesn’t disappoint. Riding the camels and quad bikes at dusk was surreal with the sunset. Everything was well organised and safe.
Food was good and we loved the fire show at the end. Make sure you pack an extra layer of clothes as it’s cold and windy once tge sun goes down.
Make sure you listen to the guide and wear your seatbelt in the mini bus. The local police wear stopping all traffic to check, one lady in our group was fined £24 / 300 DAH because she wasn’t wearing hers.

A wonderful, well organised trip to Agafay desert led by Jjwad. You get to tour an argan oil cooperative, go camel riding and end with a traditional dinner at a peaceful location, complete with live music and an impressive fire show. One of the best evening activities you can do here!

When we signed up for the experience it seemed clear that we could get picked up at our Riad in the Medina. We included the address and it was even confirmed. HOWEVER, the van is too large to enter the medina so we were contacted by the guide who informed us we needed to meet outside the Medina. It was a 15 minute walk. We were picked up in a large vehicle that was supposed to be air conditioned but it was not. It was hot and uncomfortable for the entire ride. Our first stop was at a shop where local women described the products they made. We had some mint tea. The camel ride was a fun experience. 20 minutes of being led on a camel on a designated path around. The camels were all connected. The dinner was couscous, chicken tagine and veggies. When it was served it was really a portion for one person. We asked for more chicken and veggies that was brought but the server seemed to be annoyed. We had one water each and could have had sodas but unless you went looking for them no one came to ask us about it. There was dancing and a 4 piece "band" that went around from table to table playing music assuming they'd get tips. Some people got up to dance with them but it was loud and annoying to us. The fire show was entertaining but only lasted 10 minutes.

We really enjoyed the Agafay Desert camel ride and dinner experience overall and felt it was good value for money.
Tareq, our guide, was very attentive throughout the trip and did an excellent job keeping the group organised and making sure nobody got lost during the evening.
The camel ride, sunset atmosphere and entertainment made for a very memorable experience.
A few practical things future visitors may find useful to know:
- alcoholic drinks did not appear to be available
- the minibus air conditioning was quite weak on a warm day
- some of the plates and bowls used during dinner were chipped and could probably do with being replaced
Overall though, the experience was enjoyable and the staff were friendly and hardworking throughout.

This tour was well organized and very fun! The pickup by our driver (Murat) was easy and on time. The camel ride was exciting and also hilarious! Our guide (Tareq) offered to take pics of us with our own cameras; I found this extremely helpful as a solo traveller. At the dinner location Tareq advised me where to sit to catch the perfect sunset view, which i greatly appreciated. The dinner was delicious, and the live music and fire show were delightful and whimsical. Thank you Tareq and Murat for this wonderful experience!

There is a lot of hanging around, and another Argan oil women's co-operative (which I wasn't aware of). Also the camel trek (track, about 20 mins) was not at sunset, about an hour before, and dinner wasn't under the stars, we went inside because it was so cold and windy.

Regarding the camel ride, we would like to clarify that we do not mention that the camel ride takes place exactly during sunset. As described, guests enjoy the sunset atmosphere at the camp area, which can vary depending on timing and weather conditions.
Concerning the dinner under the stars, unfortunately the weather on that day was cold, windy, and cloudy, so for the comfort and safety of our guests, dinner was arranged inside the camp instead. Weather conditions are beyond our control, and we always try to provide the best possible experience according to the circumstances.

Our guide Jawad was very informative and friendly. There was a group of 4 and made sure to make us all feel welcomed.
The ride to the tour was comfortable and roomy.
The camel ride was basic but sufficient lasting about 25 mins. We made a stop to take some very scenic photos in the desert.
The 4x4 adventure was about an hour in total as we traveled at various speeds over various terrains. You will definitely get dusty so dress accordingly. Lots of fun making it a pretty cool experience.
The Food was tasty and the fire show was a great ending to the tour. Our tour was in early May so the night weather was very cool. I suggest wearing long pants and bringing a sweater or jacket (you will need it).

Fabulous experience!! This was such a good trip started with a visit to the womens co operative then into the desert for a camel ride!! The scenery was unreal
Then onto the camp for the dinner which was great and a fantastic fire show.
This trip is such good value for money, Tareq was a superb guide who couldn’t do any more and Morad the driver was great too

Tareq was very personable and a great guide through this experience. There was a stop before we got to riding the camels. I would recommend buying a scarf for your head (if you don't have one) at this stop. Riding the camels was great and Tareq made sure we got the perfect photos of the experience. The dinner and light show were also fun. A great activity and well executed.

During one evening of our 4-day trip to Morocco with my boyfriend, we decided to join a desert tour—and it turned out to be a great decision. Tareq and his team picked us up from the meeting point on time. On the way to the Agafay Desert, he gave us information about the tour, and everything was exactly as described when we booked the package. Tareq was very friendly and helpful. After having dinner and watching the sunset in Agafay, they provided the same great service and dropped us back at the meeting point. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Excellent communication b4 and during the trip.
All in all full marks to both the driver and our guide (Tareq). They both took a very good care of my son & me.
Weather was perfect hence njoyed the sunset, unlimited tea and dinner,(vegetarian). It was an evening well spect with camel ride, Moroccan music and fire show while we enjoyed the night time.
Full value for money. Good landscape photo stops in a different kind of desert. Tareq took a lot of photos and videos which he kindly shared with us afterwards. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone. Very relaxed time if you njoy the nature and culture.

It was a great tour. Pick up was on time. Our tour guide Tareq was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous,. From him I learned a lot about desert and camels, about history and life of Berbers. Camel ride was great and very safe. Tareq was with us through the ride. Then, when we had dinner, he makes sure that we get our food. Music was great and we dance and sing. The culmination of the tour was amazing fire show. Tareq make it sure that we get home safe and text me next day to be sure that I' m OK. Our driver was very professional, polite man. A lot of waiting around to see demonstration and then waiting to ride camels. The camel ride was super fun but way too short. It was a very long drawn out evening

We would like to clarify that after the tour, when our guide contacted you via WhatsApp, you kindly mentioned that you had a great experience, which we truly appreciated.
Regarding the camel ride, the duration provided was actually longer than what is described, exceeding 20 minutes. As for the dinner, we would like to mention that wine is not included or listed in our experience description, and therefore it is not part of the service we offer.
Concerning the waiting time, there is a short stop (around 15 minutes) before the camel ride to enjoy traditional tea and take photos in the desert. This moment is designed to allow our guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings. However, we understand that this may not have matched your expectations, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
