We had an absolutely fantastic trip to the Agafay Desert — truly one of the highlights of our time in Morocco. We have been picked from our hotel by lhousain. From start to finish, the ride was smooth. 🏍️ Quad Bike Ride When we arrived our tour Lahcen took us to quad ride 🏍️ Quad Bike Ride The quad biking was pure excitement! Riding across the rocky desert terrain was thrilling but still felt safe and well-guided. It added the perfect dose of adrenaline to the trip, and the views during the ride were incredible — especially as the sun began to set. 🐪 Camel Ride After that we rode camels. The camel ride was such a peaceful and unique. Walking slowly through the desert with beautiful scenery all around created a calm and authentic atmosphere. It was the perfect warm-up for the rest of the evening. 🍽️ Dinner in the Desert Dinner was delicious and beautifully set up. Eating traditional Moroccan food under the open sky made the entire experience feel magical. The ambiance, lights, and hospitality all added to the charm of the evening. 🔥 Fire Show & Entertainment The fire show and live music were a fantastic finale. The performers were energetic, talented, and created such a vibrant atmosphere. Awesome Agafay Experience

We were picked up from our hotel in a fully air conditioned van. The guide Imeran had excellent english and was very witty and great fun. He was very knowledge and gave us some historical information relating to the berber culture withva clearly explained agenda for the trip. Once we sat out we stopoed at the Argan factory and had morroccan mint tea and we were given tour and information on the processing of argan and an opportunity to sample the products in the factory store. After that we drove for 40 mins to the Agafay dessert where we experienced the quad for an hour and then a leisurely stroll on the camels. Once that was completed we drove for 10 minutes to the camp where we were served a delish traditional berber dinner with water and mint tea included. The camp was very clean and effort was made to ensure the comfort of the guests. The team were awesome , friendly and very professional, the atmosphere was welcoming and fun. There was traditional berber musicians while we ate with great interaction with the guests. When dinner was finished we were treated to an amazing fire show, there is a video for you to see included. All in all it was a great experience and value for money. We have been to Marrakesh many times and I was impressed. I would definitely recommend this company they were excellent and I would do it again.

Stunning evening in the desert. Our guide was polite and helpful. Dinner was delicious and the fire show was spectacular. Can’t believe the number of experiences we had for the price of this tour. Highly recommend. Note very bumpy roads & impressive driving by our minibus driver!

Excellent value for money

What an amazing trip from start to finish. We were greeted by our driver Hussein, who was great from start to finish. We stopped at various points for photos on the way to the argon cooperation. We met the ladies and had a brief on how the oil is made and had a lovely breakfast sampling the different types of dips made from the oil. This was a real treat. Next top we met our guide Mohammed who led us to the waterfall. My mum struggled with her mobility and he changed the route to make it more manageable to cater for her. We were lucky as we were the only ones in the group on that day. He was amazing, such a gentle man, checking in and having rest stops. He was very knowledable and talked about his village and surrounding villages which we also got to see on our route. Lunch was one of the best we had and they also cater If you are vegetarian Hussein was always ready and waiting for us for our next stop the camel ride and then back to the city We would definitely recommend this trip, full stars

Atlas mountains and Agafay desert day tour with camel ride

We were picked up on time from our hotel by Naam Al-Hussein, who was our driver for the day. He took good care of us. We were driven to the village of Imlil in the Atlas mountains. We stopped a couple of times for a photo opportunity and to visit a Berber cooperative where Argan oil is made by a close knit community of women who work together. Our guide, Mohamed, met us in Imlil, and led us on a hike to Imlil Cascade/waterfall and on the hike we had great views of the Atlas Mountains. The waterfall at the end provided a serene spot to relax and take in the natural surroundings. After our hike we enjoyed a delicious 3 course lunch which included your choice of a traditional tagine on a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountain village. We were driven to the Agafay Desert for a memorable camel ride. My wife was delighted to learn the names of the camels. The drive through Berber villages, rugged desert landscapes and lush scenery of the mountains, showcased the diverse beauty of Morocco, but I was saddened to see some of the damage caused by the earthquake. Overall, it was a day which will remain in my memory and the price of this activity cannot match the unforgettable experience my wife and I enjoyed.

Wonderful Agafey experience

A very well coordinated activity with really nothing to fault. Our driver Hossayn arrived on time for the hotel pickup which was impressive. The journey was enjoyable and the mountain hike was labourous or me after the water fall due to poor preparation with inappropriate foot wear but I was determined to complete the 2000 KM hike to the top of the mountain with great assistance from our lovely tour guide Lasim. The lunch was amazing with great host and cook and Lasim helping out again with serving the meal. The camel ride was really enjoyable (did it with my 13 Yr old daughter) who also had a great time. Hosaayn was again very helpful in dressing us up and standing by to reassure us getting on the camels. The guys at the camel centre were super supportive and even took photos for everyone who had their phones on them. Overall a wonderful experience made possible by the efforts of Hosaayn, Lasim and all the guys involved. Going back to the hotel was bit delayed but Hossayn made it as stress free as he could possibly do maneuvering the traffic bless him. A highly recommended experience. Thank you Lasim and Hossyn. Hope to be back again with my friends soon.

What excellent value for money and a great day out! For only £22.50 myself and two friends booked a day out to the Atlas Mountains and camel ride. At 9am (although I booked 8am) we were picked up by Salah in a SUV and driven to the Atlas Mountains (just us!) Salah entertained us with his music and singing! We stopped off at a view point and again at a Co-operative to buy Argon oil. It was sad to see the devastation after the earthquake. We then reached the mountains and met Mohamed Larbi who was our guide for the short hike to the waterfall and through the Berber Village. He was very patient and good with English. He took us to a restaurant for lunch where we sat on the terrace overlooking the mountains and enjoyed a delicious chicken tagine! All included in the price! It was then the drive back, stopping off to ride camels which was fun (but a bit scary as so high!) All in all a great day out and brilliant value for money!

This trip was a great experience and the atlas mountains was amazing to see, the views the food and the guide Larbi was very friendly and knowledgeable. The driver was on time and also gave go knowledge of the area as we drove around. The camel ride was a bit disappointing, it was a quick 20 mins round a rough track and back. The guys weren't really interested in talking to you and mostly were looking at their phones, the camels were friendly enough though. Overall good trip, especially seeing the atlas mountains.

A Long Trip with a lot of Value

Very good trip - you get a lot of value for what you pay for. My only note is that the whole excursion took 10 hours instead of the advertised “~7.” And it’s not like there was traffic - everything the Berber village (Imlil) and then the camel ride are just far. But it’s not a complaint! The time flew by because it was so fun

Hicham was very knowledgeable. He grew up in the mountain village where he took us. The hike to the waterfall should be manageable for most fitness levels. Lunch was in a stunning area though the food (chicken tangine) was rather bland and they skimped on the chicken. Other than that, and a delay in picking us up, it was as good experience.

AMAZING TOUR

Amazing tour. We had a little bit of a confusion at the beginning and were put in a tour bus with Spaniards even though we are English speakers, but that was resolved really quick and well. We would stop at spots with amazing views for us to take pictures. Argan Oil factory was very nice and we were able to find good essential stuff to buy for our family and ourselves. In Atlas Mountains our amazing tour guide, Samir, took us on a different and longer way with the most amazing views instead of taking us straight to the waterfall. He answered all our questions and taught us a lot about the Berber culture and village life in the Atlas Mountains which was very interesting. Samir is such an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. Then the hiking ended with a very nice traditional Moroccan lunch (Chicken Tagine). The camel ride was amazing and fun. Overall, definitely worth the money. You are getting more than you are actually paying. We were confused how this is only costing us this less.

It was an excellent experience, our friendly guide took us to incredible places, told us a little of the history of Morocco and Marrakech. We were lucky enough to go on a short hike to two waterfalls, saw how argan oil is made, rode camels, saw the desert and even had a great lunch. It's really worth it!

Amazing day trip! Ibrahim was a lovely guide and host! We had a great tour of Agafay desert, camel ride, tea and cake. We moved then to the mountains (Imlil valley) for an exquisite lunch and a nice walk to the waterfalls. Highly recommended!

Spectacular high atlas trip

Fantastic day as a 15 person tour. Specifically wanted company after other private tours. Great camaraderie as always with small groups. Ibrahim was very knowledgeable, pacing the tour just right. Tasty tagine lunch included in price. Really enjoyed quite a long camel trek (some reviewers had said it was very brief but it wasn’t). Walk to waterfall was a proper walk so wear proper shoes or sandals. Including hotel pick-up/drop off it was a full day and very good value. Stunning scenery and views. Would do it all again next time in Marrakech
