Get picked up for this quad bike and camel ride experience at your Marrakech hotel and ride in a vehicle out to the La Palmeraie area. This adventure experience is perfect for travelers who don’t have a ton of time to spare but still want to head into the desert near Marrakech for a camel ride and quad-bike ride.

First, with instructions from your guide, hop on a camel and take a ride through the palm groves of the city. Then, enjoy traditional Moroccan mint tea.

Afterward, it’s off for a thrilling quad-bike ride through the countryside, riding over dunes as you go.

Your Moroccan palm grove experience ends with drop-off back at your Marrakech hotel.

The quad biking was good fun and the guide was really good … the lady who I arranged it with was also super helpful … the downfall was the camel ride .. one of the camels wouldn’t sit and the guy beat it’s legs with a stick … it was very upsetting .. the camels had babies and we assumed the adult didn’t want to leave it’s baby. The guy beat the camel in front of my son and all there and was a really unpleasant man.

What an experience!! The guide we had for the camel rides was amazing, so friendly and chatty, I was at the front of the group and he talked all the way through, talked about the area, the camels and Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains. The camels looked a little shabby but had babies with us and they seemed content. Highly recommend this as an experience The quad biking was epic!!! Nice long drives, you get VERY sandy/dirty but it’s fast, bumpy and super fun. You stop somewhere in the desert half way and there’s a lad with iced water (plan to give him some cash for it, not much but it’s not free) we had the 4pm slot so our camel ride was 1st them quad biking and our bike ride was at sunset and couldn’t have been better!

We turned up at the address given and the driver did not show. The tour agent logged us as a no show, we are now in the complaints process with Viator as they are refusing a refund despite us having proof we were at the address given at the right time. This refund request will end up going to court as I have no doubt Viator will continue to blame us, despite it being their fault due to providing us with the incorrect address

I am sorry to hear about this. As you may know our driver is picking up other travellers on the way and he is only allowed to wait for 5 minutes. We've sent you the pick instructions 24h prior to the activity clearly mentioning that the driver will only be allowed to wait for 5 mins and giving you clear information about the pick up address backed with a google map direction from your riad to the meeting point which was 4 mins walk.. All our drivers record GPS coordinates the time they arrive at a meeting and the time they drive off. You could have called us to reschedule the tour for you free of charge but we won't do refund as per Viator T&Cs.

Brilliant half day on quads and camels

Quad bikes were brilliant fun, safety demo, all equipment provided. Don’t wear your best clothes or white and take some wipes for after. Really good fun, with a stop to have some photos taken at a cost of 10 Dirhams (optional). Then we rode the camels and we’re guided around, very good guide Mohammed made the experience and is a credit to the whole team. Loved it! An hour on each is plenty and the bus journey back was a good chance to cool down.!

Overall, it was a good experience. The duration from start to finish ran smoothly. However, some of the individuals who took us around with the camels did come across sleazy and over friendly (as a woman it can be uncomfortable). Apart from that, I do highly recommend this activity.

They WhatsApp you their own company website I booked through there and book 2 day excursion they driver drove 3hs without Aircon I cancelled the 2nd day as they said they would refund me but soon as I left morroco they blocked me

Had a few issues with pick up, but were well supported to get a solution. Once we arrived it was a lovely trip. Both the camel ride and quad biking were well organised, and friendly and supportive. Both me- a middle aged mum and my teenage son had a fantastic experience and have taken away many wonderful memories. Thank you .

I really enjoyed the quad biking and will definitely do it again, the Carmel ride was a bit too slow for me and got bored but other than that it was a good experience. The only issue was with the pickup as we had to reschedule because the driver didn't show up even though we were meant to be picked up at our hotel but they made it up to us the next day.

Trip was good, if not aityle disorganised. Told our pick up point and to be there for 8.50am, yet 25 minutes later we were still sat there. Camel ride was a good experience. Quad biking was a great experience. (Wear old clothes!!) We arrived for quad biking experience but had to hang around for about 20 mins for the last group to arrive. Stopping off for tea and olives was a welcome break. Definitely worth the money.

Pickup was a little late but nothing major. Did the camel riding first which was a lot of fun, however it wasn’t as far out into the desert as we thought. It was in amongst expensive houses on empty land that were being built. It was still a good experience and the people running it were very friendly and accommodated all languages. The quad biking was excellent. We went on a huge trip on different terrains, and the guide took some amazing photos of us. Overall, would definitely recommend as it was worth the money and one of the highlights of our trip!

Camels were mistreated / ATVs were okay

The camels were being seemingly abused by the people working; the men would tie the camels together with a lead/leash, but they would tie them so tightly so one's head would be practically touching the next camel's back. The ATV ride was alright; we thought it would be a free driving range, but it turned out to be a guided tour. We did not go very fast either, but it was alright. Overall day was poor.

This was my first time in Marrakesh and my first ever booking with Viator. I had an amazing experience. From the booking confirmation, to the prompt pick up from my hotel and ten onwards toward the desert for the quad ride and camel riding experience it was an excellent tour. I cannot fault it. I really enjoyed it. It was well planned and well timed. I was able to meet and engage with a diverse group of people and I might also add the breakfast in the desert was delicious. Will definitely book again when I am back in Marrakesh.
