Tour guide Jay was fantastic! Excellent quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend for anyone except maybe the staunchest vegetarian (but they’re very clear about that in the description). That would be an excellent additional tour, btw… a vegan or at least vegetarian tour. Niche, but doable, I think.

Amazing

I just want to give a massive shout-out to Geva, who took me on my day trip around Kuala Lumpur! His knowledge of absolutely everything blew me away. I was taken to all the amazing spots on the itinerary, with a few adjustments made along the way due to morning traffic. From the moment Geva picked me up to the very last stop, the entire experience was fantastic. I honestly cannot thank him enough. I learnt so much about Malaysia, its history, culture and way of life. I'm so glad I decided to do this tour. I personally much prefer a private tour like this over any other type of tour. If you are in KL for a short visit this whistlestop tour covers the main highlights of the city & it was a bonus that it included the Batu Caves. We chose this tour as it didn’t include entry to either the Petronas or KL Towers as we wanted to visit these sights separately in our own time. As all the other reviews say....you have to come very hungry. It was an absolutely brilliant tour - I can't recommend it enough. Everything we tried was amazing and we went to so many restaurants and food stalls that I would have walked passed or not felt confident to try. Grace is a joy - so friendly and welcoming and we learned so much about Penang and the food culture. Everyone was so friendly and Georgetown is a unique and special place. Excellent Private Tour and Guide

Our tour guide and driver Yuvanesh was excellent. Although he admittedly said he was relatively new to the industry, he managed very well. He is very knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and most importantly a safe driver. He even let us borrow his phone while we were at Petronas to use as a wifi hot spot as my personal phone data was mediocre. The tour itself was also great as it covered nearly all of the must see sights in KL. I highly recommend this tour and Yuvanesh.

Leisurely tour

We opted for this tour on our last day in KL. We had already seen Batu Caves so opted to miss this out and only go to Genting Highlands. We were dropped off at the bottom Awana Skyway cable car station, given our digital tickets via WhatsApp and left to explore at our own leisure, i.e. cable car up to the Chin Swee Caves, then onto Genting Skyworlds, cable car back down to Premium Outlets mall adjacent to the cable car station. For us this was an ideal last day, very leisurely and we went at our own pace - Iliyas was our driver and patiently waited until we were ready to leave. So this is not a tour as such but more of private taxi service (although bear in mind we omitted the Batu Caves part which may have involved more of a guided tour, but we can't comment on that). We almost certainly could have done it cheaper with separate Grab taxi journeys but having a dedicated driver at our convenience was reassuring for us as we needed to be certain we could get back to KL by a certain time and we didn't want to worry about being able to hail a taxi when needed. As for Genting Highlands itself, the views are pretty spectacular and the Skyworlds resort has plenty of activities. Batu Caves should not be missed so this combination tour is a good option.

A brilliant trip to get a taster for Kuala Lumpur

We were only in Kuala Lumpur for 3 nights so was recommended to take this trip. It’s the best way to get an insight into KL and what you’d like to do. The Batu Caves are a must but the culture tour after helped us to pick where we’d like to revisit outside the tour and the places we were so bothered about.
