What are people saying about Batu Caves

Had a memorable visit
Our driver/guide, Fauzi, patiently waited for us to get off our ship and take a 30min Coach ride to the Cruise Terminal. The port is many miles from KL. We visited the King’s Palace, Batu Caves and Batik workshop store before having lunch at a clean local restaurant. Then to some waterfalls and photos at the Twin Towers. Not rushed at any point we were back about 7 hours. We certainly felt we saw and learned a lot about KL.

The best experience I had in KL
Never climbed outdoors before and decided to combine this experience with a visit to Batu Caves. Felt completely safe and welcomed. I was even given a lift to the Batu Caves. The last routes were physically demanding but really rewarding. Wholeheartedly recommended if you are in KL.

Half day tour
Excellent trip my guide for the afternoon was very helpful. As I had been to the Batu caves the day before I managed with his help to swap the trip around for the Genting Highlands., and went to the Chinese Temple.

Louis was great, he made...
Louis was great, he made sure we got to Batu Caves before the crowds and offered to take lots of photos of us as a family. Great knowledge of places we were seeing:

  • Be mindful that the Batu Caves and Hindu Temple are sacred sites, so be sure to dress modestly.

  • Avoid feeding the monkeys as they can behave unpredictably.

  • Make sure you stop at the easy-to-miss Cave Villa, located halfway up the steps.

  • If you want to explore the Dark Cave, make sure you book a tour in advance.
