Amazing tour!!

My friend and I booked this tour, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Mr. Joey Tan as our guide. He was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. He took us to every location on the itinerary and shared so much history, cultural insight, and fascinating background information along the way. The temples we visited were some of the most breathtaking places I have ever seen in my life. The final temple especially felt surreal — I truly didn’t know places like that even existed. What made the experience even more special was Mr. Joey’s kindness, patience, and genuine care for us throughout the day. We had mentioned that we only eat halal food, and he thoughtfully checked with restaurants to make sure we had suitable options. As two girls traveling together, we felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time, which meant so much to us. He was warm, humble, accommodating, and made the entire tour fun, relaxing, and memorable. If you are planning to book this tour, I highly recommend requesting Mr. Joey Tan. Great guide for Penang Highlights!

We had a great custom experience with our guide, Law. We spent most of our day on Penang Hill but also saw the highlights of the large Kek Lok Si temple, inside visits of Blue Mansion and Khoo Kongsi House, water jetty area and street art/murals. Law is educated about so many aspects, he was a great guide. Very pleasant and accommodating of our requested itinerary. Very nice to save us walking in the heat by dropping us off nearby the sights and picking us up. Much appreciated! Request him for your tour!

We had a fantastic time...

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide Ashline picked us up at the cruise terminal. She was very friendly and knowledgable. Ashline brought a large bag of fruit for us to feed the orangutans. There were only 2 other couples at the sanctuary so we were able to get pretty close to the orangutans for some great photos. We then returned to George Town where Ashline stopped to get us some delicious samosas for lunch. Then a tour of the area. We saw the street art & walked along Chew Jetty. We would have spent longer there but the intense heat was too much for us so Ashline returned us to our ship. Highly recommend this excursion.

He paced the tour well being sure the experience was rich and enjoyable. He was responsive to questions and curiosities. This tour provided an experience of the natural and man made beauty of Penang along with its rich cultural history. So much beauty so little time. Definitely worth a repeat . We had a great time with our hosts, Mok & Amy who were helped by some wonderful assistants. We were a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 11 & 13 and this class catered for everyone. It stated with a market tour getting an insight into local ingredients, a stop for breakfast and coffee and on to the cooking class covering traditional Nyonya foods like Char Kway Teow & Chicken Curry Kapitan. 100% recomend

Great way to sample Penang

Travelling with friends we found this great alternative way to see and experience Penang Island … which we can’t recommend enough. We all rode pillion with 4 experienced riders and even the nervous were confident with taking photos as we went along in the end. The food experience was brilliant with 5 spaced out stops at some authentic (well chosen and safe) local/street food locations. If you’re up for an adventure - give it a go !

Cultural heaven!

Jessie was brilliant! She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating information about the religions and culture of Malaysia. Our group ranged in age between 4 and 84 years and she made sure to engage and include everyone. One of our party had also sustained a back injury whilst on holiday so the tour was adapted to allow this person to see the main sites and not miss out as much as possible. We were not rushed and given ample time to explore each site - and she answered our many questions! We ran late (because of us exploring each site) so we included a stop for a quick lunch and Jessie helped to choose suitable dishes to share. She identified what was important for us to see of the remainder of the tour. All in all an amazing experience and cannot speak highly enough of Jessie, or our driver Jimmy!
