Great day with the excellent guide and driver Margarida
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and particularly our engaging and knowledgeable guide Margarida. The use of the tuktuk was efficient and helped with some narrow roads, and because it was electric, it was environmentally friendlier and made it easy to hear our tour guide. Margarida made great suggestions on how to allocate our time well. Thank you for a fine day.

A truly great experience of Madeira
From the very beginning, Diogo’s communication was excellent. He was responsive, clear, and made everything easy to arrange, which immediately gave us confidence.
He is incredibly proud to showcase the very best sights of Madeira, and his knowledge of the island is truly impressive. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that passion really enhances the experience.
Diogo is also very empathetic and attentive. He took wonderful care of my parents and my daughter, always making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. His English is fantastic.
I can highly recommend Diogo as a guide — he made our visit to Madeira truly special.

This is an amazing tour...
This is an amazing tour to visit this area of Madeira without having to get stressed driving around. Our tour guide Mr Dino is exceptional full of knowledge about the area as well as an amazing kind individual.
I have a disability, I have difficulty walking he made me feel very welcome, helped me all the way and I had an amazing time when I was so worried about it previously. Thank you, Mr Dino

Definitely book this tour!
We had an amazing time on this tour with Marco. We were able to customize our itinerary, and pick up time. Marco was able to make changes on the fly regarding the weather and safety. We very much enjoyed the tour and it was a great introduction to the west side of the island. We also felt very safe with Marco's driving. Many of the roads were narrow and parking wasn't always readily available. We felt this was a way better alternative. FYI it would probably be cheaper to book directly with the vendor.

Highly recommend this tour
After a mixup the boys picked us up near the port. Then off on a fabulous tour up the mountain in 4x4 range rovers. Magnificent views and sights all over. Few stops to try local delicacies like Poncha (lol) maderia wine (had to buy a bottle for medicinal purposes lol) sky walk or in my case sky run. The tour guides were brilliant. Highly recommend a fabulous half day out over this beautiful island.

10/10 views!!
The views from this hike were absolutely breathtaking! Bruno our guide was brilliant and explained thoroughly where we were going. We had such a fantastic day out, my camera roll was full by the end of it! We completed this in October 2025 and the weather was perfect, not too hot but no rain.
Wouldn't recommend if you don't have a head for heights or caves (although they're not too bad) And take torches and appropriate footwear.

Spectacular photo opportunities
Fantastic experience.
Hugo keeps the groups small and has the local knowledge to beat the queues and recommend the best spot for great photos. We captured some amazing shots without the crowds.
The Balcones lavada walk was a lovely contrast in the forest ending in another spectacular view.
And the final stop of a clifftop viewpoint did not disappoint.
I highly recommend this tour.

A superb day out to discover more about Madeiran wines
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour. We were in a small group of 8 people, and we soon got chatting on the bus. Our guide, Roberto, was excellent. He was full of stories and anecdotes, and always keen to ensure we were having the best time. We visited three wineries, and tasted a whole variety of local wines. The lunch included in the trip was excellent, set against the spectacular backdrop of the north Madeira mountains. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone with an interest in wine and local history, or someone who enjoys travelling through dramatic landscapes with a small group of likeminded individuals.

Miguel our guide was friendly and charming with a good sence of humour which made the experience much more fun.. we went off road and had an amazing time with lots of laughter .stopped at a bar for poncho and watched the local lady make it for us. Saw some small villages and amazing view points.Would definitely recommend this trip

Challenging but amazing
Professional service from pick up to drop off. Our guide was excellent. The route was challenging, but we had plenty of stops to rest and refuel. The final stairway to heaven was amazing and our guide helped to make sure everyone made it safely out to the view points and back again. Brilliant day out.

Great afternoon out
Susannah picked us up at our hotel on time and we drove straight out to the winery. The route was a little windy and the last bit was very bumpy but Susannah coped with all the conditions very well. She was very informative and we learned a lot about the island as she drove. The winery itself was in beautiful countryside. The tour was very well organised. We tried six wines (very little food provided with which to try it and the actual tasting was a little rushed as there was a big party coming in after us). We we’re offered another full glass of any of the 6 wines after, too. After this we went onto the glass bridge and then onto a little fishing village where Churchill apparently painted. The stops here were very brief which suited us. We were home by 6:20 pm after starting out at 2.pm. Good value, interesting tour.
