Exceptional guide fantastic food and venues
Book without hesitation it is really enjoyable, good food and beautiful restaurants. My guide Sue was so knowledgable and personable that she made it a truly memorable experience. I am not a big meat eater or drinker of spirits so she arranged alternatives for which I’m very grateful. The seaweed cones at the archeological site restaurant were my favourite but the coffee ice cream as a alternative at the chocolate venue was also lovely.

Five star market and cooking class experience
This was a fantastic experience. Five star. From Visiting, the market, which we would probably never have gone to on our own, to the cooking class, which was well orchestrated and lots of fun, it was a great day. Our Guide Kevin explained all of the things at the market and we learned a great deal. The cooking class was led by chef Karina (with translations by Kevin) was perfectly organized and we learned a lot and had fun. We got to taste so many fruits that we had never heard of, and then cooked quite a number of potatoes, which were fun to taste. We made ceviche, in a traditional Peruvian style, and then a stirfry, influenced by the Chinese in Peru. Had fun with the other people in our group and it was a great day. So glad we booked this. Highly recommend.

A really different, excellent food tour.
I love food tours - walk, history, chat with fellow travelers, city insights, and food - usually fairly predictable, but good food. This food tour was not predictable as Lima food is kind of an unknown aside from ceviche. I think this tour spanned the gamut of everything one could want - crazy exotic fruits, one of the stranger and yet sublime smoothies ever - with just three ingredients, and there was a LOT of food. Joseph the guide was a super nice guy and mega knowledgable. There was on person on this tour from Colombia who dod not speak English and Joseph transitioned so fast between Spanish and English -- this guy was born to be a guide. One recommendation though - offer water too at some of the stops - the drinks were so good, but water is water. Or bring a bottle (maybe I should have). This tour is an A++

The activity is very well...
The activity is very well mapped out! Our group got to explore all around Historic Center while getting to experience some amazing dishes, in places that I could have not found alone. My tour guide was Sheyla and she was absolutely delightful. Her breadth of knowledge about structures and the food that I got to experience that afternoon were truly impressive. Most importantly, she radiated passion for the history and culture of the Peruvian people that made the experience truly worth it. Cannot recommend this experience enough!

Long celebrated as the food capital of South America, Lima’s cuisine celebrates Peru’s unique geography and biodiversity. There’s no tastier way to explore Peru’s capital than on a Lima food tour, which helps you overcome the language barrier and try lesser-known dishes in hidden corners of the culinary landscape. Gourmet food tours focus on high-end cuisine, while street food and market excursions showcase a more traditional side of Lima’s food. Whichever you sink your teeth into, you’ll leave smiling and satisfied.
