Great for families and first day in town
This was a wonderful experience on our first day. We explored the market, learned about the food culture, and tried many new fruits. The cooking part was amazing! They easily accommodated our vegetarian request. It was so inspiring to make the food and then eat it!. The dining Table was beautifully set and the food and company were outstanding!

We were lucky enough to be the only two participants on this tour with a wonderful guide, Aura. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, providing lots of information and answering all of our questions about the unique food. The best part was being able to meet and talk with the chefs/bartenders at various stops. Since we were the only participants and speak Spanish, we were able to get a lot of extra insight from the tour. The food was all excellent and we left being very full. I highly recommend!

Yummy street food!
Marcos our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. He took us to local places that if I were to do it myself, I wouldn't even know where to go. The food we sampled was not the usual food you would find in touristy areas, so we're definitely immerse in the culture. This tour is highly recommended.

This was a fantastic half day tour. We really learned a lot and saw many of the highlights in downtown Lima. Cesar, our guide, was excellent and provided a ton of information and was entertaining. Carlos, our driver, made us feel safe driving from Miraflores to central Lima, despite the heavy traffic. I would absolutely recommend this tour as a great start to a stay in Lima!

Long celebrated as the food capital of South America, Lima’s cuisine celebrates Peru’s unique geography and biodiversity. There’s no tastier way to explore Peru’s capital than on a Lima food tour, which helps you overcome the language barrier and try lesser-known dishes in hidden corners of the culinary landscape. Gourmet food tours focus on high-end cuisine, while street food and market excursions showcase a more traditional side of Lima’s food. Whichever you sink your teeth into, you’ll leave smiling and satisfied.
