Interesting walking tour of Miraflores with tastings. Highlight was visit to local market and tasting fruits we had never seen or eaten before. Miguel was an excellent guide.

Fantastic tour! Rudy was the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and fun! We tried some amazing food and fresh local fruits. It was so nice having a true Peruvian show us the best foods of Peru! We highly recommend this tour!

We took this tour right after getting to Lima while waiting for our check in time. Alina was a wonderful guide that introduced us to the food as well as the history and culture of the area. This was an excellent way to start our trip, as it provided context for much of what we would see over the next few days. We also got restaurant recommendations for the rest of our stay that did not disappoint.

Our guide was Paolo, he had incredible knowledge about the food and drink we consumed. We had a small group which was really friendly and relaxed. A fantastic selection of local food and drink and a really in depth tour which took in good quality local restaurants. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area early in the holiday to give the opportunity to take advantage if the advice given. An excellent trip

Food was quite basic, but filling. Excellent coffee to start and really nice Ceviche. A fair amount of walking through residential areas, not much info about the local area unless you ask questions.

An excellent tour. Our guide was fantastic and started off the tour with some good history of Peru and used that knowledge to to link the history to food. The food part of the tour was amazing. The pork sandwich, ceviche and all of the desserts were delicious and generous with the food served. The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about Peru, Miraflores and food.

Miguel provided a great introduction to everyday food in Lima as well as interesting commentary as we walked through the streets of Miraflores. Excellent knowledge of the food and provided some insightful background on the history, sources and uses of the foods and their ingredients.

Loved the food and coffee and cocktail - our tour guide made it so much fun! The ceviche and fruit were my favorites but all the food was tasty and walking helped me digest everything!

Fabulous tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Perfect English. The food stops on the tour were very well chosen. They were off the tourist path, locally-owned, high quality., and reflected Miraflores. There was so much food! Come very hungry! I am an experienced traveler and this is one of the best tours I have been on. I highly recommend this.

I definitely recommend this for anyone new to Lima, or Peru altogether. My guide, Miguel was the kindest and most patient person ever. I am here studying Spanish and so not only did he help to show me places to go to and to discover great food but he also helped me with my Spanish. You definitely get your moneys worth. I would strongly recommend not eating before doing this because you get a lot of food which is awesome!!!

I cannot recommend this enough - we spent 4-5 hours with our fantastic guide Sergio, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgable and took us to some amazing spots to eat, all whilst learning about the history and culture of Lima and Peru.
This was also a private tour with just the two of us and our guide.

Pablo and Sergio are amazing guides. We loved tasting foods they selected on the walking tour as well as the visit to the market. They purchased unusual fruits and we all sat down to try them. Excellent tour!

Talk about a personal tour, it was just my husband and I with our wonderful guide Miguel. We enjoyed walking through the different neighborhoods and districts as we made our way to local establishments for our tastings. Miguel introduced us to well loved Peruvian foods from Chicharróns, Suspiro, fruits we had never seen or heard of to our first experience of the world renowned Civiche. It was prepared right in front of us and each step explained. It was delicious! And you can't have a foodie tour without ending with a tasty warm churro. A big thankyou to Miguel for such a wonderful morning.

Convenient starting point in Miraflores for the walking food tour. The guide works with small groups and hosted just my wife and me on the morning of our tour. We made about five stops and sampled a good variety of restaurants with different types of Peruvian foods. Also visited a local market to sample fruits we never knew existed. Our guide was attentive and engaging, providing us with various bits of information on Peru and its culture as well as about its foods. He was fluent in both Spanish or English. A really nice side benefit was the stroll through neighborhoods in Miraflores as we made our way from one restaurant to another. Recommended!

We highly recommend this tour. Our guide Pablo, was very knowledgeable and a delight to be with. The stops were exactly what we were hoping for to get a real sense of Peruvian flavors and meeting the local people.
