Top experience in Lima!

Sara_J, Jun 2024
Our guide was Jonathan and he was so nice. We had a short time in Lima but he showed us all the top sites we would have missed. The city is big and harder to navigate than Cusco without a guide. We ate so much food along the way, come hungry. At the end he gave us recommendations for dinner in our area. Great tour, book it!

Great walking tour

We had an amazing tour with Miguel - we tried delicious local specialties and got to see the main sights in central Lima. I highly recommend this tour.

Yummy walking tour

Fabulous street food, we were stuffed by the end! It was great to learn both more about Lima and the traditional food and drinks, which goes to make Peruvian food some of the best in the World!

Local Lima.

Great experience. My guide was a native but spoke fluent English. Had been to school in the states. Showed me the central market where we sampled some of his childhood favorites, China town and Grand Hitel Bolivar where we finished off the tour with a Pisco Sour. Travelled like locals on the express bus lines from Miraflores to the old Central City. Fantastic.

Response from Host, Jan 2024

Thank you for sharing your positive experience! We're delighted to hear that you had a great time exploring with our native guide who spoke fluent English. It sounds like the tour provided a wonderful blend of local insights, including visits to the central market, China town, and the iconic Grand Hotel Bolivar. Sampling childhood favorites and finishing off the tour with a Pisco Sour sounds like a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Traveling like locals on the express bus lines from Miraflores to the old Central City adds a unique touch to the experience. We appreciate your kind words and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for more memorable adventures. Thank you for choosing us!

Yummie and great!

Rudi was a great tourgide! Lots of information about Lima’s history and I tasted some good food (even as a vegetarian). Thanks!

Local street food and samples!!

SUPER tour! Diego was an awesome guide. We took the bus to Old Lima, then spent a lot of time in the city’s oldest market, sampling different foods. Chinatown, then street food, before taking the bus back to Miraflores. Don’t eat before this tour—you will be well fed. Highly recommend!!

Good variety of foods to taste

Marvin_C, Nov 2021
Ximena was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about Lima and Peru. We tasted a variety of great Peruvian foods. And visited a lot of different establishments. There was something for everyone. We chose to stay in the historic area after the tour ended and she explained the bus system to us, so we could easily take the bus back to Miraflores. (The bus is very cheap and efficient between the historic area and Miraflores).
