Day Trips from Lima to Callao

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and start by exploring the impressive Real Felipe Fortress in Callao, a colonial stronghold built to defend the city against pirates. Then, we’ll head to Chorrillos, home to Lima’s fishing community, where you’ll stroll through a lively fish market and see local life up close. Next, immerse yourself in the bohemian charm of Barranco, known for its colorful murals and the famous Bridge of Sighs. Enjoy a delicious local lunch before continuing to Lima’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Plaza Mayor, Plaza San Martín, and the mysterious Catacombs of San Francisco. We’ll wrap up the day with a magical visit to the Magic Water Circuit at Parque de la Reserva, where an incredible light and fountain show awaits!

In this service we will learn about the colonial period and the Republican era, we will delve into the history of Peru and learn about its secrets and impressive history. We will get to know the main port of the country. Since the beginning of the colony, Callao was the main port, where gold and silver was taken from this place that would later be transported to Spain. The Real Felipe keeps impressive objects from our history such as the first flag that was designed by the liberator Don José de San Martin.
