Postojna Cave and Padjama Castle.

Postonja Cave is not to be missed. And the castle is very unique. We’ve traveled a lot and never seen anything quite like either experience. Tour guide was great and shared a lot of info on life in Slovenia. However, Van needed seat belt and air conditioning repaired. Also the van interior was not cleaned after previous days tour.

Really beautiful sights. Lake Bled is icredibly beautiful, calm and clean. Motorboats aren't allowed so it’s a real win! Our guide Jan was awesome, i like Slovenian humour, really down to earth. Not to be missed!

Excellent experience! Definitely a highlight of my stay and not to be missed. The castle in the cave is very unique and everyone is given an audio device for the self-guided tour. Same with the cave tour. Lots of walking but worth it! Warning: Lots of stairs and walking, so those with mobility issues should consider carefully.

Make sure to potty before the drive!

Might have been our favorite excursion we did from our entire cruise. The guide was very knowledgeable and the whole experience surpassed our expectations. We loved the facts on the drive and had plenty of time at both stops. Keep in mind, you'll be traveling in a large commercial bus, but theres no bathroom. We had a lady in an emergency require us to make a stop only 5 minutes from the caves. She stood for probably 25 minutes after asking only 15 minutes into it drive.

Awesome tour and guide

We had the most amazing tour experience with Samir .He was extremely informative about all aspects of Slovenia , culture , sports , industry , government . We had a beautiful tutorial and learned non stop . It was a continuous flow of information during the long car rides . The cave was a highlight of our trip in Slovenia , it should be one of the natural wonders of the world . You would be very lucky to have Samir as your driver and guide .

Wonderful tour. The caves are amazing to see (just remember warm clothes). Rachel provided excellent commentary during the journey to/from the caves with interesting insights into the local area and local history. Everything seemed very well organised and we were met at the cruise terminal. Very safe & modern coach driven by Peter. Definitely recommend.

Experience great, logistics not as great.

The cave experience itself was fantastic. The wait before even getting in line to get on the train was frustrating. We left the port at 10 am and returned at 4:30. We were able to go into the castle immediately. The guide told us the drive to the cave would be a half hour. It was really 45 minutes and, when we got there, we had an hour wait before we could get in line for the train. We waited in the train line an additional 20 minutes.
