What are people saying about Japan

Fun for the entire family
This was one of the top highlights of our trip to Japan. We decided to do the kart experience in Osaka, thinking the streets would be less crowded and we were right. Upon arrival, they make you watch a video on rules and safety measures. Then you get to pick your costume from a wide variety. We had so much fun driving through the city. People would wave and take pictures. Our guide was very careful and always checking on us while driving. He took so many pictures of us!

Amazing experience!
Absolutely recommend this experience! Not only is it a nice way to explore outside of the city, but our entire experience at the tasting was incredible. Our instructor walked us through the history and process of sake making, and how different steps of the process influence the end product's taste. He gave us instructions on how to read sake bottles (even if they're in Japanese), and helped us discover which sake profiles we like best! As someone who did not like sake going into this, I would highly recommend doing it (turns out we were just drinking the wrong kind for us!).

Great Sumo Experience - Memories for a Lifetime!
This activity definitely punched above its weight! Initially, we looked into attending a live Sumo match, but unfortunately none of the tournaments were happening while we were in town so booked this as a best alternative after reading the reviews - REALLY glad we did! For those of us who are not really knowledgeable about Sumo, this was a perfect introduction to the sport and its history. We enjoyed hearing directly from the wrestlers about their experiences in and out of the ring, the food they prepared was delicious, and the opportunity to "wrestle" them in the ring was a memory we (and our teenage nephews) never forget!

Very fun and educational experience!
Walk in with an open and relaxed mind. You will get undressed and then dressed up by the very sweet ladies, in a very respectful and organized way. For younger children the tea ceremony requires some self-control but they don’t mind a few laughs and jokes as long as you are still respectful of the ceremony.
The best part is getting dressed up, of course! There is a beautiful selection of hand-embellished kimono and obj silks, and they do the girls’ hair with a variety of hair adornments. My 11-year-old son got to wear a gorgeous “shogun” style silk outfit and was feeling the power. The ceremony is interesting and educational, and they keep it fun by allowing a few guests to prepare the tea. At the end the ladies gave my son a box of origami frogs, which was very sweet!

Amazing sake tour!
It was a great experience! Our tour guide Yuki was very friendly and informative. We were very late but she waited patiently for us to reach and caught us up! She gave lots of information about the tour and even general things about Kyoto and Japan! I was recommend this to everyone!

Super fun!
This experience was a lot of fun. All very well organized. I was a little scared going into the tour but quickly realized it was totally safe as long as you follow directions from your guide. Our guide, Sam, was amazing and very nice. Highly recommend

Great samurai experience with real swords
We really enjoyed this activity. Well organized and the staff was very friendly. They dressed us all up at the beginning. Both the interpreters and the master were very knowledgeable. We got to learn very interesting facts about the samurai and the specific house we were in. We saw a demonstration from the master accompanied by flute playing, we did zen meditation and also some sword appreciation holding real swords. The best part, of course, was the sword training and slashing with a real samurai sword! First we learned the moves with wooden swords and then we all got to apply those moves with a real one. The master was very kind and patient and explained everything throughout the session, always looking out for our safety as well. It was very exciting! I definitly recommend it for anyone who wants a real samurai experience.

A tour that’s definitely worth the experience!
This tour was awesome, it went a lot better than what I initially expected. The tasting and trivia was so much fun! It was refreshing to apply what I learned from the museum tour to the Sake taste and food pairing experience. Overall, the tour was great vibes and I’d definitely recommend anyone who’s interested to learn about world of Sake.

Highly recommended day in Osaka
Wonderful tour with Maria. We saw not only some of the most popular sites in Osaka but also areas more frequented by locals. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Osaka - especially for the first time. And if you want an exceptional and fun guide who speaks excellent English, request Maria. She was terrific.

A Delicious and Educational Morning!
Walking through Tsukiji Market with Miho was such a wonderful experience.
She shared so much information about the market, the different vendors, and what foods are worth trying — it really brought the whole place to life.
Hiroko was our amazing instructor for the sushi-making class. She was patient, encouraging, and gave us great tips on preparing miso soup and seasoning the rice properly. I especially loved learning how to make the Japanese egg omelette, but the highlight was definitely mastering a sushi roll!
I highly recommend this experience — it’s a fantastic way to learn from locals and get hands-on with authentic Japanese cooking.

Get ready for a wild and crazy RIDE!
This was by far the best tour I’ve ever done!! This is the fix for the need for speed. Our guide, Gy, was awesome. He kept us safe while making the tour exciting and took awesome photos to share with us at the end for FREE! An awesome bonus!
The staff is great too, giving us all the needed information to drive safely through the streets of Tokyo. There’s nothing like this in the U.S., where I’m from, or any other country I’ve traveled to, so I’d rate this as a DO NOT MISS experience. I honestly can’t believe it’s legal to do!

Beautiful Experience
A authentic experience and a highlight of my visit to Kyoto. Kimonos were high-quality, accessories generous, and the staff very helpful. The tea ceremony host gave a wonderful introduction, describing all details and the meaning behind each. The house is over a century old, all original construction, and has a beautiful garden on premises. Highly recommended for both solo travelers and mother-daughter couples, though a few gents present seem to have really enjoyed it too
