The best part of my trip

This was quite possibly the best tour of my entire trip! We got to see so much but the day was paced perfectly! But by far the most incredible part of this tour was the added detail of taking us off the regular tourist path to engage with locals and their experiences in more personal and unique ways! Experiencing a meditation in the Buddhist temple and meeting a woman in her home in the fishing village easily took this tour to the next level! And our tour guide Deryk was exceptional! He made it so easy to understand and learn so much and he went out of his way to make our experience special in every way. Absolutely recommend this tour!!

Perfect way to spend your first day in Hong kong

This is the perfect introduction to Hong Kong. I did this tour the very first day I arrived and highly recommend to do this tour early on your vacation. We started in the financial area and learned about the “one country two systems” of Hong Kong, since Hong Kong is still basically under the British system of law, regulation, and trade. We visited Victoria Peak and learned about the old justice and punishment system by visiting the old jail near the midlevels. We had an excellent Michelin recommended lunch and capped off the tour with insight into the different religious institutions of Hong Kong. It was truly and interesting tour and I learned so much! I would say wear very comfortable shoes, it truly is a lot of walking.

Very well organized from start to finish! Everything was thoughtfully arranged and made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We had an assigned tour guide in Hong Kong who picked us up directly from our hotel, guided us to the bus for Macau, and made sure we were properly handed off to our tour guide once we arrived in Macau. We never had to worry about where to go or what to do next. We had a wonderful time exploring Macau and learning about its fascinating history, culture, and heritage. Our guide, Cisco, was very knowledgeable, informative, and engaging. He did a great job explaining the history behind the places we visited and made the tour much more meaningful rather than simply being a sightseeing trip. The entire experience was seamless, informative, and definitely something we will remember. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I highly recommend taking the time to do this Macau tour. Don't skip it—you'll be glad you went!

Lantau Island was definitely one of the highlights of our Hong Kong trip! 🚠 The Ngong Ping 360 cable car ride was amazing. The views were beautiful, although I have to admit, there were a few moments when I thought, “Okay… this cable car better know what it’s doing!” 😂 But once you get past that little bit of fear, you can really appreciate the mountains, the sea, and the beautiful scenery below. Then came the Big Buddha… and those 268 steps! 😅 Let’s just say the Buddha was peaceful, but my legs were having a completely different experience. 😂 Standing in front of the Tian Tan Buddha was still incredible and definitely worth the climb. We also visited Po Lin Monastery and walked around Ngong Ping Village. It was a nice change from the busy streets of Hong Kong—more peaceful, surrounded by nature, and a great place to slow down for a bit. Beautiful views, a little adventure, a lot of walking, and a workout we didn't exactly sign up for! 😂 Definitely a must-do when visiting Hong Kong. ❤️🇭🇰

What an incredible experience visiting the Tian Tan Big Buddha! The cable car ride up to Ngong Ping was breathtaking, and standing in front of this massive bronze statue was truly awe-inspiring. We also explored the beautiful Po Lin Monastery and took a peaceful boat ride through Tai O fishing village. Our guide was knowledgeable and patient, making the entire experience feel special and meaningful. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hong Kong — it’s a must-see! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you just want a chilled 40 mins cruise, then go for it... nothing exceptional.. The staff was nice and made sure everyone was comfortable... offer to take pictures too if needed. They offered to drop off at central instead of going back to the starting point, that was nice so I didn't have to take the ferry back to central.

Great tour of Lantau Island and its attractions

Good tour. It covers many different items. A long ride back and forth on the cable car with beautiful views, boat ride in the canals of the fishing village, an impressive monastery and shrines and climbing 268 steps to see the giant Buddha. A long hot day, but really worth the effort. Highly recommend.

Must do. Private tour is worth your while

Experiencing the Big Buddha in Hong Kong is a must do. It was a rainy day but that made it even more special. Being able to walk the streets of the fisherman village and trying a traditional lunch was the cherry on top of a perfect day. Our private tour included moving in taxis and the bus with the locals which was also a treat to experience a slice on their everyday life. The most important component of our day was out guide. He was knowledgable, kind, funny and accomodating. Our guide Edward, certainly won the day!
