Awesome tour!
We loved this tour! Our tour guides Ming and Phuc were awesome! The food was wonderful and it was nice to go to different areas. Driving via motorbike was the way to go, we got to see so much of the city we would have never seen before and try different dishes that we wouldn’t have eaten without them. We have left with new favorites and some answered questions about Vietnamese history and culture. I would highly recommend booking through this service. We left at 6pm and the markets and restaurants were bustling and busy. It was great not to be with a very large group and have great service.

So glad I got up early!
It was so lovely seeing the sunrise from our little boat. Breakfast on board was really delicious. Fun to see how the trading happens. A little sad these markets are dying out so would recommend visiting while they are still operational.
The biggest treat of this tour was my guide Clara. She gave such amazing insight to the lives of the people in this area. She was incredibly open about her own experiences growing up here and honestly, if the tour was just having a coffee and chat with her, I would do it all over again!

A must-do trip, but ask for Jack (Thanh) as your guide
Pick up was on time, but I wasn't happy to see that we were on a bigger, and less luxurious bus than is shown in the photos. This bus was comfortable enough though and there was only 8-people in the group, so plenty of space on board. There should have been 10 people on this tour, but our guide, Jack, spent 5 minutes chasing and calling the last 2 people, but when the 5 minutes was up we left without them. I really liked this, as there is nothing worse than spending a long time waiting for people who are inconsiderate of others.
On first meeting our guide, Jack, I wondered if he was the right guide for us, but I was wrong....... he is THE BEST guide. Of all the tours we have done in Vietnam, this tour beats them all, and this is solely because of Jack.
He gave us an in-depth interactive history lesson of the last 1600 years of wars in Vietnam on the bus journey, and my family and I loved it. His English is perfect, and he knows so much about history. He threw out packs of crackers to anyone who got any of his history questions right, which was a lot of fun.
We stopped at a workplace where handicapped people make these art pieces from eggshell, mother of pearl, rosewood and lacquer. Normally, I would skip this type of thing, but the lady showing us around was so interesting telling us about how the workplace operates, that we actually ended up buying 2 of these pieces from the shop. The shop has many, many lovely items for sale.
The actual tour went by quick with Jack often skipping past some displays and then we would circle back and do them later when they were quieter, as there was a lot of other tourists.
We crawled through a long 95 metre tunnel, which you either had to crawl on all fours, or scurry along on the tips of your toes. My daughter and I did the full length, but my wife and younger daughter left by a side exit (escape route) after about 30 metres.
Jack showed us a lot of things, and we were never kept waiting, or allowed to be bored.
We had plenty of photo opportunities and bathroom breaks when needed, and nothing felt rushed.
My daughter fired an AK-47 with 20 bullets and said it was worth the money for 1,500,000VND.
On the way back, we had lunch at a restaurant 5 minutes from Cu Chi tunnels, and there was plenty of food and it was very tasty. You buy your own drinks, but it's cheap.
I recommend you do this tour, but I also suggest you arrange the time and date for when Jack is available. You will not be disappointed.

Great authentic Mekong Delta experience
We had the greatest tour with Sasa! We did the floating market, cocoa farm, small canals rice noodle factory! It was really informative, fun and interesting to learn about the local Mekong culture and ways of living. We would really recommend doing a tour with Sasa.
Thank you very much, Sasa!

Best tour and guide 10/10
I had the best day on this tour! My favourite day in Vietnam so far. My guide Thinh was such good company and taught me so much about local customs. I’m so glad he was my guide. We spent time seeing the floating village, went down the canals, made noodles, had breakfast and visited a houseboat too. My boat driver also made me some beautiful handmade souveniers.

A trip NOT to miss
This is one of the best ever Viator experiences. The day was led by Chi, the local tour guide, who speaks great English and very friendly. We arrived in Vietnam yesterday and it was a great welcoming to the country, the people and the local scenery on Ben Tre. The day started being transported on the back of a scooter to the countryside visiting coconut farms, amazing lush vegetation, a candy coconut factory at the guide’s home with an amazing local lunch. Then had the most chilling boat ride through amazing and lush plantations. So relaxing laying on the bean bags and absorbing this beautiful country. I thoroughly recommend this trip.

Known for producing much of Vietnam’s rice and fish, the Mekong Delta is a lush area where visitors can experience the vibrant floating market scene. Many Mekong Delta tours include a boat ride to the Cai Rang floating market, where you can taste local foods like banh xeo, a crispy Vietnamese pancake. Some tours allow you to customize your experience and visit a cocoa farm where you can taste handmade chocolates or head to a traditional rice noodle factory to try “rice noodle pizza.” Biking, tuk-tuk, and motorbike tours are also available if you prefer a land-based activity.
