Not our best tour. A lot of walking between sites. However, the reason for the poor rating was primarily due to our guide. We spent ALOT of time standing where we could have been sitting. We didn’t get a break or water for 4 hours. For the price, at least a bottle of water should have been included. My sister fell and the guide didn’t even inquire about how she was. My husband didn’t get his lunch until we had asked because we were all done and our guide was not an advocate for us.

Excellent time with Mark in Hong Kong for our tour. Very informative and knowledgeable with all of our questions and we have a better understanding of life in Hong Kong. We toured with him on 26 January 2024.

This excursion was our last, after 2 month traveling from Dubai to Hong Kong, and it was the best one. Thanks to our guide Victor, our visit to Hong Kong was very interesting. We found out many new for us facts, travel from place to place using all kinds of public transportation including ferry. We had lunch in very good place.
Victor was very flexible, and when he found out that I love flowers, we visit the flower market. His love of Honk Kong , deep knowledge of history, and carrying for our “needs and wants” made this day for us exceptionally good.

Unfortunately my experience was very bad. They sent me a questionnaire to define the guide and among the things I asked for were that he spoke English fluently and that he didn't do anything in a hurry.
Well, the tour started very badly when it was very difficult to understand him, in addition to that he was walking in a hurry , to the point that we were left behind.
The explanations of the places we visited were very superficial and difficult to understand. We booked an 8 hour tour and one of the agreed places was to go to Big Bhuda, after 4 hours of the start of the tour we went to the place to take the cable car to go to Big Bhuda, well, our guide handled us the ticket and he just left, in other words, halfway through the contracted tour he ended it, we didn't understand anything. Money and time wasted.

We arrived on our cruise ship to Hong Kong on Oct 23,2023. Victor had previously contacted me via whatsapp with all his info and a sample itinerary. This step is so important, you need to have a guide that is well prepared and you have already been communicating with prior to meetup. Theres nothing more frustrating than stepping foot in a foreign country with limited time and not having the guide and you on the same page. Victor made this so easy. Off the ship we go, Victor is waiting and our private tour begins. We visited Victoria Peak,Hollywood road area, a great locals only restaurant,etc.. All the time explaining the history, past present, and a look at what the future may hold for Hong Kong. A great day in Hong Kong thanks to Victor!

Evangeline was so nice and took us everywhere we wanted to go, she explained us about Hong Kong's history and culture and took us for delicious dumplings and beef noodle soup.

We chose for our tour to focus on Lantau Island because we thought we would have difficulty getting there in our own—and we were right to use a guide.
Our guide was Alfred and he met us on tine at the cruise port terminal. We used public transportation to get to the island. Alfred navigated our way. We stopped by a “monster” building on the way. At Lantau island, we saw the Big Buddha, Po Lin Monastery, and O Tian fishing village including a boat ride. Alfred was a tireless and valuable resource in explaining the history and culture of Hong Kong and of the specific sites we visited. He was patient, professional and cheerful. He definitely smoothed the way for us. We would not have experienced the quality and quantity of the sites we visited. This was definitely the right choice for us! Highly recommend!

I was extremely happy I chose this particular Hong Kong tour. First things first, the tour guide was waiting for us on time in our hotel lobby. From there, my cousin and I introduced ourselves… and our tour began. I would highly recommend this tour. There were no communication issues and my guide Victor was knowledgeable and professional.

We Saw much of hong kong and even visited a poor district. I got to see th skyscrapers the housing and ate delicious meals with Chinese locals. We went shopping and saw the main tourist attractions. I did so much in a short period that the mind boggles.

Victor Cheung provided us with a lengthy tour of Hong Kong by foot and by transit (both ferries and subway). We were travelling to Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan as well and took numerous tours along the way. By far, Victor provided us with the best tour experience not only on this trip but others we had taken to other continents.
First off, we had made prior arrangements for him to show us certain sites, but we had gone out on our own the day before and had already seen a number of the sites he had planned on showing us. Victor was not in the least bit fazed and he pivoted quickly to show us alternate aspects of Hong Kong.
Victor took us to lunch in a little spot he knew that was frequented by locals and we had a wonderful meal.
His love of the place and pride in it was evident and he came equipped with an iPad that had reference material and maps and all kinds of visual aids that allowed us to see not only what Hong Kong was like on the day we toured with him but also how Hong Kong had developed.
Victor speaks perfect English and so there were no struggles to understand what was being said. His grasp of history and his knowledge of the neighbourhoods that make up Hong Kong and Kowloon were really impressive. We really think we got a great sense of what life is like in Hong Kong and we can’t wait to visit again.
We highly recommend Victor Leung as a tour guide for anyone interested in really seeing and experiencing Hong Kong in all its majesty. We will certainly use his services again when we return to Hong Kong.

The tour startet with the planning already weeks before the day tour and it was easy to adjust Victors tour proposal, directly by WhatsApp, with a fantastic answering time.Victor shows us nearly every corner of Hongkong which we never expected to see, presented a wealth of knowledge and answered all questions.
This is not the only tour we booked by Viator and we will come back again!
