Great layover tour
I booked this tour on a 15-hour layover. Due to my flight time I choose the option with 2 way driver to and from the airport. The instructions for pick up were clear and everything ran on time. The tour guide Lea was fantastic, really knowledgeable and she knew how to adjust the energy and pace of the tour to suit my capacity (after having come straight off a 14 hour flight). Got to visit the main tourist stops of the city which were amazing and the coordination between Lea and and driver ran smoothly all day. Also Sunny managing the back end was great with communications and check ins. Overall a great way to explore the city if you have limited time and preparations.

We had the most amazing...
We had the most amazing tour in Shanghai with Sammi! She was so knowledgeable and fun. My kids (17 and 20) were engaged and had a great time. We started our tour at Shanghai Tower. Then we went out Old Town and afterwards to Xintiandi. It is a must do in Shanghai!!!

Eat like a local
I am 100% happy to have selected this tour. Even before tour began, I had received very accurate and easy to follow instructions on how to arrive to the meeting point from the guide. Being a dinner tour, and having arrived in Shanghai only hours earlier, I was ready for a treat. And that's exactly what this tour was. We visited 5 different establishments, tasting a variety of handmade deliciousness along with local beers, liquors and shots. Everything from dumplings, soup, skewered meat and veg, fruit, desserts to carefully curated samples in our final location - a Michelan rated restaurant. I would never have found or even walked into any of the establishments because I just would never know where to go. We strolled from one location to the next, allowing the food to digest, all while learning all about the ever evolving history of Shanghai, its food and people. The two and half hours went by so quickly and in the end, the guide Jim ensured that all the participants knew how to get back to our accommodations. He helped to order a Didi ride home for me, for which I was very grateful. This tour is a wonderful introduction into Shanghai and the different foods on offer. It's worth every RMB. Just do it!

LI ZHAOCHEN The Best Tour Guide In Shanghai
They should know that my experience with Li Zhaochen our guide was exceptional and flawless. It started at our hotel which was at least 1/2 hour out of their meeting point and he picked us up. He made sure we had the best experience and that we arrived at our destination Shanghai: Southern Great Wall Day Trip by Bullet Train on time and safe. He was very kind and went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience - he helped taking pictures, he gave us the history and customs of the places we visited in addition to the Wall - Taizhou Fucheng was one of them and since it was our first time on the bullet train he even took us out prior to us getting on it so we could video it coming into the station. We had a traditional lunch at a restaurant he had selected and he had listened to our likes and dislikes without us noticing. He had a private room for us with a spread of various custom dishes which tasted delicious and took care of our vegetarian and the person in our group who did not eat chicken nor fish. The food was freshly made and delicious. There was a person who wanted iced tea which they are not accustomed to having and he obtained it for them. He had drivers all set up who were safe and also pleasant. He even had raincoats and water for us. When we finished our tour we wanted to continue shopping and he helped us set up a ride back to the hotel. I cannot fully explain how helpful and enjoyable he made us feel and I know this is not the only tour he guides so if I were you I would ask for him without hesitation! Thank you so much LI ZHAOCHEN . I wish you the best.

Known as “The Paris of the East,” Shanghai is China's biggest and most prosperous city. Even the locals can’t do it all. That’s why Shanghai tours are the best way to maximize your time. Instead of looking down at a map, let your expert guide show you around sites such as the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Or opt for a food tour through the French Concession, a cruise on the Zhujiajiao canals, or even a day trip to Beijing, where you can walk on the Great Wall of China.
