Great flexible tour with great tour guide
This is very flexible private tour, we were able to tell our guide where we like to go and how long we wanted. Our tour guide was Kiki. She was very professional and attentive. She accommodated all that we want done and even went out of the way to get my wife some bubble milk tea drinks. Her English was on point and also very friendly. Her main goal as she always tell us is she just want us to have the fun in her and stress free when we are in her country enjoying the beautiful city and we sure did. She managed to have the driver always show up on every each stop that we made and even help my wife bargain with the locals when buying souvenirs and take great pictures for us. Toward the end of the tour we say just leave us at the street market and we can get ourselves a ride back to the hotel once we are done exploring the area. But she did not leave us and really wanted to walk and show us more of the area and then have the driver pick us up and take us back to the hotel, we cant asked for anything else. We were lucky enough to get her as a tour guide. We can tell she loved her career and just want to provide a great experience for the tourists. Thanks Kiki and Alana for a great memory.

We enjoyed the private...
We enjoyed the private tour experience with Lulu as our guide. She was very cheerful, attentive and quick to adapt to changes in our itinerary due to rainy weather. I was traveling with two elderly family members, so she slowed the walking pace accordingly. Her efforts to tell us about historical and cultural significances of the places we visited was also commendable.

Good by day - spectacular by night
First half was an 1 hour cruise around the river - majority of buildings are covered in led's and whole area becomes both very colourful and atmospheric.
Second part is a road transfer to Yu Garden where the buildings are all bathed in pastel light, this highlighting their ancient design.
So that was the trip, but the whole event was made more than special by our guide 'Autumn'. Not only did she queue for hours during the afternoon before picking us up - this to ensure we had the best 'VIP' boat seating, she also managed to get us into all the Yu Garden areas before all the throngs of tourists arrived.
Finally she added another walk around the magically lite French Concession area. The whole trip was simply superb.

I had a great tour...
I had a great tour experience with Queena. She was punctual to the minute to pick me up. The tour had a personal car all day. The Zhujiajiao experience was great. Followed by lunch with view of the People’s park. The food was excellent and she took care of my allergy restrictions. Finally the afternoon evening through the other sites Yu Graden, the Bund and the French concession was great. Queena was especially great with helping me with looking for souvenirs. Would rate this team full 5 stars.

Great time at Zhujiajiao water town
Snow was an outstanding guide. She was extremely knowledgeable not only about the water town, but also about Shanghai as a whole, which added so much to the experience. The water town was beautiful and full of fantastic food and interesting vendors.
Snow met us at our hotel with the driver, and everything was easy and well organized from the start. The drive can take about an hour depending on where you are staying in Shanghai, but it is definitely worth it. A really memorable part of the trip was that Snow even taught my wife some Chinese on the drive, which was such a thoughtful and fun extra touch.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience something a little different outside of the usual Shanghai attractions.

Highly Recommend This Tour Experience!
Such an efficient way to be able to see both old and modern Shanghai when you are pressed for time! My co-workers and I were on a work trip and had a short window to be able to see some of the sites. We got to see the best of the best on this tour! Our tour guide was so sweet and knowledgeable. Although the weather didn’t cooperate and it was raining pretty hard, because we had the car, we still managed to enjoy the tour.

A very well organised day in Suzhou!
Kimi was a brilliant guide. The day was well organised and delivered, and Kimi explained everything in English really well. Lunch was also spectacular, so make sure you are hungry! All the vehicles we went in were very clean and organised well, and we really enjoyed seeing so much of Suzhou in one day. Thank you Kimi!

We loved this tour! I...
We loved this tour! I recommend it to all foodies. The places we visited were mostly family owned business with traditional Shanghai food. We got to take a peak inside kitchens and bakeries, which was a lot of fun. The food tastings were yum and the portions were big. I was definitely full afterwards. This well-organised and interesting tour is a great addition your trip to Shanghai.

Well worth it - if you can book this definitely go for it.
Emma was a great guide. The trip was well planned, informative and enjoyable. The included lunch was also delicious, great choice of restaurant by Emma. We were able to tell Emma what we wanted to do more of, or less of depending on our fitness levels and likes.

Zhujiajiao Water Town, an exceptional curated experience in Old Shanghai
Lucy was a wonderful guide and had extensive knowledge of the Zhujiajiao Water Town and Old Shanghai. I especially enjoyed the canal boat ride and the temple gardens. Lucys knowledge was extensive and she brought me back to that time. The experience was surreal.

Amazing day with Tina
We had an incredible experience customizing our day tour and spending it with Tina. From the very start, she made everything feel seamless—teaching us how to navigate the metro using our Alipay apps and guiding us to the Jade Buddha Temple. Thanks to her, we felt confident enough to use the train on our own later in the trip, which ended up being a much more affordable and local way to get around compared to DiDi.
One of the highlights of the day was when she introduced us to the city’s bike-sharing system. We took a ride to our next stop, and it was truly magical for me. Coming from a hilly city without much biking infrastructure, this was such a unique and memorable experience.
We also explored the French Concession, where Tina pointed out beautiful photo spots along the way and helped us capture some great memories. We took a relaxing break at a local café, where she introduced us to her favorite treat—Kaisling chestnut cake, a Shanghai staple—which was absolutely delicious.
Throughout the day, Tina went above and beyond to help us communicate with shopkeepers and navigate local spots with ease. We strolled along the Bund, enjoyed amazing soup dumplings at a spot she recommended, and learned so much from her deep knowledge of the city’s history and culture. On top of that, we really appreciated the easy, natural conversations we shared—it made the experience feel even more personal and enjoyable.
To top it all off, Tina took so many fantastic photos of us during the day and conveniently airdropped them at the end of the tour. It was such a thoughtful touch.
We can’t recommend this tour—and Tina—highly enough. It was truly one of the best ways to experience the city!

Known as “The Paris of the East,” Shanghai is China's biggest and most prosperous city. Even the locals can’t do it all. That’s why Shanghai tours are the best way to maximize your time. Instead of looking down at a map, let your expert guide show you around sites such as the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Or opt for a food tour through the French Concession, a cruise on the Zhujiajiao canals, or even a day trip to Beijing, where you can walk on the Great Wall of China.
