Additionally, some stops may not allow substitutions; however, we will make every effort to offer alternatives at other locations throughout the tour.
- Since most Japanese restaurants are not fully equipped to offer vegetarian menus, vegetarian options on our tour are limited.
- Japan's climate has become more extreme, with summer temperatures reaching up to 40°C (110°F) and winter lows dropping to -5°C (20°F). Please dress appropriately for the weather.

Did the Hiroshima Bar hopping tour last night with Kaku. He was brilliant and took us to 3 great venues. Certainly we wouldn't have found these venues. Was great sharing the evening with Kaku - was very personable and fantastic to chat with. Would highly recommend him and the tour. Very good night out

We had a wonderful time with Yoko last night! She brought us places we never would have known to try, and customized our food orders to meet our preferences. All of the food and drinks were delicious!

Kiki was a culturally knowledgeable host. We spent a wonderful evening together visiting hidden Izakayas. Enjoyed okonomiyaki and oden soup with beer & sake.

This was truly a food and drinking tour focusing on local spots and local cuisine. Yoko was a wonderful guide and has lived in the area most of her life. She joyfully shared some personal stories and by the end we felt like we had known her a long time. This was special. We got to a Saki tasting at the end too!

This was such a fun food tour!! Kaku was so fun and he told us tons of information about Japanese culture, his life, and Hiroshima style food. The okonomiyaki izakaya was INCREDIBLE. The chef was so nice and fun, and he cooked it right in front of us and let us eat off the grill. The restaurant staff even came outside to take a picture with us! Such a fun night, amazing food, and really nice people!

I had an absolutely exceptional experience on the Hiroshima walking food tour with Magical Trip, guided by the wonderful Yuji. I’ve done dozens of tours around the world, and he is genuinely one of the top two guides I’ve ever had.
Yuji is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. He shared fascinating insights into Hiroshima’s history, culture, and the everyday life of people in Japan in a way that felt natural and personal rather than scripted. It felt like spending the evening with a very well-informed local friend.
I particularly enjoyed the culinary experience — every stop was thoughtfully selected, the food was delicious, and it gave me a true taste of Hiroshima’s local cuisine and food culture. The pacing of the tour was perfect, combining amazing flavors with meaningful stories and cultural context.

My guide Yuji was so great! We went to multiple restaurants and tried a bunch of delicious food and drinks- he also took me to the illumination lights installation and pointed out several historical spots of significance related to the attack on Hiroshima. We had great conversation and he gave me tips and hidden gems for the rest of my trip- highly recommend!

Kaku was my tour guy, and he was very personable. The food was amazing and he was very knowledgeable about the city. Kaku provided great conversation, laughter, and fun. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone.

We had an excellent tour with Hika! First, the food was amazing, especially the first stop. We had a wide range of drinks offered to us and my wife and I were very happy with what was on offer. Hika had so much local knowledge and taught us about the city and Hiroshima prefecture. He is a kind and interesting guide who makes great conversation. We recommend this tour highly!

The "English speaking guide" doesn't speak English. Hika was very nice but we had to rely on Google translate. It was nearly impossible to know what we were eating.
