Top notch tour as the guide Tomas was exceptional. His passion and knowledge made an emotional history even more remarkable. Loved biking about after days of walking, as well. Would highly recommend!

It was a tour that included cycling out to the site of the Red Cross hospital that survived the a bomb and several spots in the epicentre of the blast zone that you might not notice yourself just walking around. Our guide, Shen, is the child of an in utero survivor. He shared stories of his youth and stories from his grampa and grama that were in Hiroshima when it happened. Depending where you stood, if there was a hill or concrete wall determined a lot. Shen provided stories of hope.

A wonderful, educational and in parts quite moving tour with our guide, Shin. He has such a passion for the history of Hiroshima, it was lovely to spend a couple of hours with him.

Great to learn about hiroshima bombing, electric bikes are great also and our guide was lovely. Great to do in hiroshima.
Tyana_K, Dec 2025
Biking is the absolute best way to experience Hiroshima. Shin was the most amazing tour guide! There was not a question he didn’t know the answer to. His family stories and infectious personality brought the history of the city to life. This tour was easily one of my favorite things I did on my trip to Japan!

Our two hours with Kana on e-bikes, visiting some of the memorable and sobering sites in Hiroshima, were an unforgettable experience. Kana made the whole experience a highlight of our trip to Japan. She even recommended a fantastic place for lunch after we said our goodbyes at the end of our tour. We were four 65-70 year olds who easily mastered the e-bikes as we had some previous experience. We would highly recommend this two hours tour around the Peace Park and other parts of central Hiroshima. As for Kana ….. you are a star 10/10.

A great experience. Only wish it could have been longer!
Bicycles were easy to operate and electric and both guides amazing.

Incredibly informative, and beautiful, and inspirational, and fun, and the bike ride alone was lovely. Loved Tomas! We cried and he was proud haha also he gave us a great recommendation for when we’re in Kyoto. Between that and the bike tour, Tomas really made our trip

This was a brilliant way to see Hiroshima and our guide, Kana, was fantastic. She knew everything and kept things moving well. Bikes were electric so really easy and efficient. Would totally recommend and again, Kana , thanks you so much. 10/10.

On the day that we showed up Kana our tour guide was very gracious and met us at the rest house. It was a very rainy day and the tour called a change and instead of doing biking we did a walking tour which was very safe and appropriate for the conditions. Kana was very knowledgeable and her English was wonderful. She answered all our questions and did a great job in explaining the Hiroshima Peace Park area. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone especially people that would want an English speaking tour guide.

Very informative and worthwhile experience for the whole family . Our family of 5 all would recommend.

Shin was a wonderful tour guide. He wove personal anecdotes with historical facts, and shared very moving details from his family and the larger community. As Americans traveling in Japan, this was an experience that we wanted to prioritize. I wish everyone from the US could experience something like this. Such a moving, somber experience that touches on the devastating impacts of war and the greater call for peace.

We had an amazing bike tour around Hiroshoma. Kana our guide was fantastic and really made the tour enjoyable. She was very knowledgeable about the area and so enthusiastic about the city. It was our first time in Hiroshima and I would highly recommend this tour.
Tad_Y, Jun 2025
Enjoyed the tour. Our guide (English Speaking) was very friendly, energetic and informative with personal testimony (his parents/grandparents). Biking through Hiroshima city was very enjoyable. A leisure bike ride which gives you time to see and learn about Hiroshima from pre-wwII to current day.
Ride is very easy since it's an e-bike and the city is flat. Was concerned about crowded streets/sidewalks but it was very easy to navigate. Hiroshima is not as congested as Tokyo/Osaka.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Amazing experience! We had the best tour guide ever (Kana-San)! The electric bikes made it easy, and the tour was extremely easy to follow.
Thank you, Kana-San! - Hayleigh and Jeremy

This was a remarkable day. Seeing the evidence of one of the world’s worst atrocities helps to put things in perspective. Shin, our guide, is a grandson of a survivor, and hearing first hand family accounts was priceless. Thank you for such a special experience.

We learned a lot about the history of Hiroshima and LOVED our tour guide Shin.
So informative and fun.

A great way to see the historical sites in Hiroshima. Kana, our guide was very friendly and took us to places outside of the memorial park area. Kana is very knowledgeable about the history & gave us an in depth explanation at each site we visited.
Roberto_R, Mar 2025
The Bike tour is a cool way to explore the park and other spots of the city. Our Guide ´Shin´ had lots of stories and family memories to share with us. He sure made it a memorable experience.
Pramit_M, Feb 2025
I recently took a cycle tour of Hiroshima that was both invigorating and profoundly moving. Despite the bitter cold winds, cycling through the Peace Park and visiting other historic sites offered a unique and active way to absorb the city's tragic history. Our knowledgeable guide shared insightful stories about the events of World War II, deepening our understanding of Hiroshima’s resilience and ongoing journey toward peace. The experience was a perfect blend of historical reflection and outdoor adventure, making it an unforgettable way to explore the city. I highly recommend this cycle tour to anyone eager to learn about Hiroshima while enjoying an engaging, active day out.

Our guide, Kana, was excellent. Very knowledgable and informative with excellent English. We visited multiple sites and got excellent information at each one. Kana was able to answer all of our many questions, was friendly and intelligent and a pleasure to be with. She even gave us an excellent dinner recommendation!

A really amazing experience presented by Shin! This tour was really amazing as we got to hit all the major memorials in the peace park and learn the significance and stories of the memorials, and our tour guide was specifically very special since his grandparents lived through the bombing. Hearing the stories about someone who was so closely connected to this experience and learning about the experiences of his close relatives was truly touching. The bikes were electric so minimal effort was required, and this tour could really be undertaken by anyone- don’t let the fact that its bikes deter you. Thank you Shin for an amazing tour!
Amanda_H, Sep 2024
Shin and Mimi were fabulous guides. We had a very memorable and moving tour around Hiroshima and even fitted in a down town tour on our electric bikes. The bike were in great condition and our group of 10 were all impressed
with everything. Shin is passionate about peace and his family has a personal connection to the atomic bomb blast as his mother was inutero when the bomb was dropped. Highly recommended

There aren't enough words to describe how kind Bella was and how great the tour is. If you're in Hiroshima and you have already seen the A-bomb dome and done the peace museum, doing this tour with her is still a must. There were so many other spots around the city that you are taken to that I would have completely missed had it not been for her. I learned more than you can read or find at each spot as well AND the electric bikes that are provided make the trip that much easier and are very fun. Thank you again for everything Bella!
Colette_W, May 2024
We highly recommend this cycle tour, it's highly informative, carefully thought out and sensitively provided with a passionate tour guide. It's a must do!
Janice_D, Apr 2024
Excellent way of seeing the city. Our guide Bella was very informative and very personable which made the whole experience memorable. This was better than some of the organised tours offered by the cruise ship.
Damian_T, Apr 2024
It was so enjoyable to take a bike ride in Hiroshima. Our guide Bella was awesome, she is very passionate about the tour and the history of Hiroshima.
Manuela_C, Apr 2024
A lovely guide however she was not someone who had family experience in Hiroshima. Cycling is a good way to travel around.
Leigh_D, Mar 2024
Shin’s enthusiasm was infectious, and he shared some moving stories. Everyone was also very helpful with my bike. I’m 64 and not a cyclist but the riding was manageable. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot.
Mark_T, Jan 2024
It was cold for cycling in January but Shin made the best of it. Very personal and informative discussion around Hiroshima.
