The Hiroshima bike tour is unlike anything else. Pedaling through the city, you move between modern, vibrant neighborhoods and deeply moving historical sites. Seeing the Peace Memorial Park and the A-Bomb Dome up close, gives you a connection to the history that no bus tour or guidebook can replicate.
Our guide wove together the city’s past and present beautifully, and by the end, you’re left with something that stays with you long after the ride is over — a quiet but powerful reminder of why peace matters and why it’s worth protecting.

Aimee was our tour guide today, she was amazing so full of knowledge and easily adapted to all our group needs. We even stopped for an extra musket firing demonstration that we came across. Nothing was too much trouble for her and it was one of the best tour experiences that I have ever had. I would highly recommend her and the company it was totally worth it.

1000% recommend this tour! Levi was the ultimate guide! He took great care to educate our group prior to departing so that each stop had a greater significance than if we would have just arrived at them. His presentation style was very interactive, keeping all of us involved and focused. We walked away remembering so much of the tour and all that was discussed which isn’t always the case with tours! The biking was easy enough and we were able to cover a lot of ground. Book this tour!!!

Ihsan started our tour by taking us through the city. We covered so much ground in our short 4 hours, we were very satisfied with our time. There was not a question he could not answer, although we tried hahaha. Overall left with more knowledge and appreciation for Hiroshima and Japan as a whole. James was a great guide, very professional, well informed, friendly and made sure everyone was looked after. We enjoyed cycling around the city, visiting a beautiful park and learning about the tragic events that happened 80 years ago. My teenage sons were also very engaged. Highly recommend!

James, our guide for the day was excellent. From the beginning I new I was with someone I could trust. We tested the bikes, had 2 bottles of cold water and helmets. James also explained his hand signals so that our small group of riders new what to do. The terrain is mostly flat but there was an option to upgrade to electric.. Throughout the tour James kept everyone informed of the history behind not only the atomic bomb but the local history. I have never come across a guide with such knowledge and enthusiasm and I learnt so much from him. How good was he, unbelievable, because we were delayed through no fault of his own during the ride that meant I would be possibly missing my Bullet Train back to Tokyo. At the end of the trip he took me in his car to my hotel and then the station. He had the knowledge but also a heart of gold.

Our guide, Aways, was the perfect host. Very detailed guided tour, attentive. Biking along the canals of Hiroshima was a perfect way to visit and the historical monuments were very interesting and educative.

There is an extra fee for E-bikes but worth it if you haven't ridden a normal bike for some time and are not in the best physical shape, like me hahaha. The places visited on this tour are all very interesting and our guide provided very informative descriptions of each. On my tour we had a second guide who was shadowing, but both were also very helpful with setting everybody up with the right bike to use and making adjustments such as changing the seat height etc.

Very nice ride through Hiroshima hitting all of the big highlights. Awais was an excellent guide and we all thought it was a great tour. If you want an e-bike it will cost extra so make sure you arrange that ahead of time as there are limited options. My 12 year old rode a regular bike on a very hot day and was totally fine. Waters were provided. Very safe.

Our guide showed us the many historical sites in Hiroshima. Biking is a good way to see them as they are spread out. We did get on/off the bikes many times which was understandable but some consolidation is needed. At times, the subject matter got a bit political and as an American, I felt somewhat defensive. Overall, it was a good experience and worth the time and money.

This tour is an absolutely fabulous way to explore Hiroshima if you have limited time. Using the bikes allows you to access parts not always available via bus or car. Our guide Awais was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insights about the history of Hiroshima. We learnt so much. The bikes used are also of good quality with the option to use a e-bike as well for an extra 2000 yen if you need. We did this tour as our cruise ship docked for the day. The start location was easy to get to via tram from our port. Thanks again Awais.

Great time! Awais (guide) took us on a 6.81-mile ride; I mapped it (over 4 hrs) to several historical sites (listed on the booking). The pace on the bike was excellent; he was very knowledgeable of the area and history. He was easy to speak with (his English was solid), and I felt he genuinely cared! This is my 4th trip with Viator in Japan, and I have at least four more to go. I have not been let down yet. Thanks
