What are people saying about Faro

Fantastic experience!
The experience was excellent! Guides were knowledgeable scientists and valued safety and ethics for the passengers and the dolphins. My only problem was that the seats were very uncomfortable. After so much time, it genuinely hurt. And they were very close together, so I imagine for bigger people, this tour may be almost impossible to do:( But we got some really incredible, closeup views of the dolphins (one was so close it even splashed us)! We saw common and bottlenose dolphins; they swam under and around the boat and it was just beautiful! Definitely wear a high SPF sunscreen because that ocean sun will burn you

Joao was probably the best tour guide we’ve ever had. His knowledge passion excitement was very evident from the moment we were picked up all the way till he dropped us off. Seeing in person the incredible views of the Benagil Cliffs and Caves by itself is a incredible experience - having it shown through his eyes and knowledge was truly fantastic!

Relaxing sunset tour with beautiful views
We had a pleasant evening on this sunset tour. The sunset was beautiful, and the guide gave us a very good introduction to the Ria Formosa Natural Park, including the local environment and nature in the area. The tour is quite relaxed and slow-paced, so it may not be the most exciting activity if you are looking for something more action-packed, but that is really just the nature of this type of tour rather than a criticism. Everything was well organised, the scenery was lovely, and overall there was very little to fault. A nice and peaceful way to spend an evening in Faro.

I loved that the day...
I loved that the day included a little bit of everything. We hiked along the cliffs with incredible panoramic views, explored the rock formations and hidden areas around Algar Seco, and had time to relax, swim and enjoy the beach. There were so many beautiful photo stops along the way that I basically came home with an entire Algarve photoshoot. 😂 The Seven Hanging Valleys portion does involve walking and some uneven terrain, so wear good sneakers and bring water, especially during the summer. Definitely bring a swimsuit too because getting into that gorgeous water after hiking was one of the best parts.
