Reminder that they do not press olives for oil here but learning about their process was fascinating. The staff was absolutely amazing and the tasting was fabulous!!! Great wares and highly recommend.

We weren’t sure exactly what to expect and received kindness, education and a delicious tasting. This is a family run business in the production of table olives. We learned about the process of getting olives ready for consumption and how it can be done without any preservatives. Although not the focus, we also learned a bit about olive oil too. The tasting was lovely - This is a beautiful family that gives a glimpse into their world of olives.

You will get a good understanding of the making of olives for consumption.....NOT in the making of olive oil. Small family run operation with fantastic hosts that explain the process as you walk around the small facility. If you are going in offseason do not expect to see equipment operating. A fantastic olive sampling activity at the end of the tour with wine, beer, non-alcohol beverages and snacks provided. A nice touch to end an informative tour. Good to do on rainy day.

Despite having problems finding the facility, we had a great time and learned a lot !!
The tasting was fun and yummy .
When we were struggling to find the facility, Andreia was wonderful and actually ended up calling us to help us get there - goggle and Apple Maps just couldn’t find it !!
Andreia was a wonderful tour guide and I would definetly recommend this tour !!

We happened upon this tour while looking for things in the area, and I am so glad we did! This tour was such a great addition to our trip. The factory tour was educational and you got to see how the olives were processed! The tour guide and the team were so knowledgeable and friendly! The tasting after was incredible. Highly recommend!

This is not an olive grove or olive oil tour. Andrea shows you the machines for olive production and explains the process. She is a born entertainer and makes the tour interesting and amusing even if the machines aren't working. The best part is after when you get to have various snacks( an understatement) accompanied with wine. We met lots of nice people while enjoying the little feast. At the end you have the opportunity to purchase some of the things you have sampled. Be warned, you will not be able to resist!

Our tour guide, Andrea was very warm, welcoming, friendly and informative. The tour in the small factory was a very different and new thing to to on holiday for us and we learnt some great stuff about olives 🫒. The whole team was very hospitable and insightful. At the end, they offered us a whole buffet of their products to try out and it was truly tasteful.
If you are looking for something very interesting and chill to do as you learn and support the local economy in Tavira then i would 100% recommend this tour.
