Ultimate fantastic tour of the Benagli caves and all other scenic coastal cliffs and beaches viewed on the high speed boat. Incredible experience which was a highlight of nature’s serene beauty. Our tour guides, Sebastian and Claire, were welcoming, attentive and provided historical references.
We were connected to the high speed boat operators, GPS & the one hour ride was amazing!! Really enjoyed this tour and the beautiful Algarve region. Nice to avoid the high tourist summer season as we visited in late April. Everyone we encountered were pleasant, friendly and nice!
Our meeting point was at the Faro train station and we confirmed our time with Sebastian the night before. The Viator ticket displayed 10:00 am but the details on the tour overview stated 8:20 am. So make sure you confirm and hopefully Viator updates the ticket display to the proper timing. Loved it. Thank you.

Small boat with an expert captain lent itself to the best experience in the caves!! We saw so many and were even able to go inside some other boats could not. Our guide Sebastian was very knowledgeable and very passionate about his guests immersing themselves in the local culture. Great trip!

We met at the Faro train station and were part of a small van tour. Sebastian from start to finish was an excellent and informative tour guide, humorous and a very safe driver. We went to a viewpoint to get a breathtaking view of the coastline before heading to Benagil for a trip in a small boat to view the caves from the sea. The Benagil cave is world famous but can now only be viewed from boat or kayak. The thirty minute trip was amazing, to see these caves and arches really is a trip of a lifetime. Don’t worry about flip flops, take your trainers off on the beach and paddle in the shallow water to the boat, part of the fun! Later, Sebastian took us to a lovely area called Lady Rock which had incredible views, an amazing chapel and a lovely restaurant for lunch. An excellent half day tour but with some of the most breathtaking scenery you will ever see!

This tour was so fantastic. After doing two days of tours in Lisbon, I was unsure if I wanted to hop in another tour bus but this was and ADVENTURE!!! Sebastian was fantastic as a tour guide and the gentlemen running the boat ride were also fantastic. It was a wonderful way to see the algarve coast and be near the ocean.

It was a great excursion loved Sebastian and his knowledge and expertise. You joined him and the tour you felt comfortable and excited for what was ahead at the same time. If you have never done something like this before he immediately instills confidence in both you and the adventure that lies ahead. One of the greatest strengths of Sebastian and his tour is all of the little details that he thinks of that many of the other tours we saw did not. For example, as we got out of our boat and onto the sand, he had a water pump sprayer that he allowed everyone to use to get the sand off of their feet before we return to the van… That was something that no other company was doing. He really approached it through a thoughtful process each time he would talk to the group he would start by using the word team… And then share information with us about what he wanted us to know.

Great driver and the boat trip was smooth with beautiful scenery. The beaches were small but very pleasant. A very laid back easy tour but does have uneven surfaces for walking with lots of steps to get down to one of the beaches if that is an issue.

Our guide was on time actually early. He was nice and help take photos. The boat ride see caves was short. Not sure what happened but it went abruptedly. It wasn't even like thank you for your time we're heading back it ended very oddly. The boat drivers were nice and everything but all the sudden they had to hurry back something was off

Fantastic day exploring the caves of the Algarve coast. Experienced seven different ones including the one I see every day on my Microsoft Windows screen. Now I can say, "I was there!"
Sebastian, the owner, was such a wonderful guide. He knows and loves this area and his country. It shows in his excitement to introduce every amazing site.
The excursion takes you from Faro to a beach where you get on a small boat to see (and enter) the caves. Then you are shuttled to Our Lady of the Rock chapel and beaches. Excellent sandy beaches and views. I swam in the warm waters and still had time for a vinho verde and a small hike.
Highly recommend.

This was one of the best tours we went on while in Portugal. Being on the boat, with dolphins performing in front of us and then going into the caves was truly memorable.

It’s a bit of a drive from Faro. The cave tour is short but you see a lot in that time. The beach is so beautiful I don’t have words to describe it. It was a terrific day but I would have liked another hour or so to enjoy the area. Sebastian , the guide, was very personable and his transport was comfortable.

This isn't a boat trip from Faro. First, it is about an hour drive from Faro to Benagil beach and the area was so overrun with tourists that it is a bit hard to enjoy it. The boat ride was fun, but it was pretty short. The arches and natural caves are worth seeing. After the boat ride our guide took us to a different beach that was much less hectic and we had a nice time there. If you are really interested in these beaches, stay in a town closer instead of in Faro. Our tour guide did try to make the best of it considering the long travel time and he was very pleasant. Just be prepared for only a few good hours out of the 5 or so that you spend.

Leaving from Faro it takes one hour to get to the caves. You don’t waste time on a boat you get straight to the caves boat experience and enjoy the view that you paid for. It was a great half day tour. Our two operator. Sebastian was thoughtful, helpful, and very informative. I highly recommend this tour.!

Comfortable drive to Bengali for the boat tour. Claire was a lovely host and shared her knowledge of the area. The boat crew were fantastic. Time on the beach was a perfect end to the trip. It was a hot day so a dip in the sea was perfect.

Our driver Sebastian gave us great advice, history and made us feel safe. He was a very good driver, prompt, respectful and professional. I appreciate going with him. William and Mariano were excellent navigators on the boat. We were in good hands regarding boat safety. It was a wonderful experience!!

The tour guide was Ok, but the tour itself was over stated. For the price you spend 20 minutes in a small boat to see the caves and then dropped off on a cliff to walk down to a small beach for little over an hour. The rest is spent in a van. If you are a large group I would highly recommend getting a private boat and just enjoying the sea.

De Faro as Grutas são 60 kms de distancia!! 1 hora de viajem!
30 minutos de barco de pequenas dimensões para visitar as pequenas grutas ao redor da famosa gruta de Benagil! O meu tour é visita a grutas e não há linha de costa!!
Tempo livre de 1, 30 hora na praia onde pode visitar uma pequena capela o tunel que liga 2 praias ou relaxar na praia!

Had a great day with the tour guide. He was a great guy and even brought water to the beach to wash our sandy feet. I just kept thinking the whole time I could have saved time and money by taking an uber to the beach and paying for the boat tour myself. It was nice that the guide knew which boat tour to take because there are many different ones and I feel like ours was the best. Smaller boat which was easy to navigate into the caves and it was just the right amount of time on the boat and with the caves. Once you saw Benagil and the arches and a few more it was done. Any more caves would have just been overkill. The guys on the boat were also very nice. Great job guys. Loved it.

The experience was top notch from beginning to end. Sebastian hosted and really showed us the most beautiful time through the caves and pristine beaches. Time on the beach, water and time to explore, this was extraordinary and not your typical touristy trap. The entire family loved it. Would recommend to everyone. This is the part of Portugal I would come back to see first. Highly recommend!

The boat trip to Benagil Cave and Praia da Marinha was truly out of this world. Sebastian was an incredible guide—going above and beyond by carrying water to help us clean the sand off our feet and taking so many fantastic photos of our group.
