I would highly recommend this tour. Our driver/guide Dave was like a walking Scottish encyclopedia and a super nice guy. Despite the fact it was a cold, rainy day we made the best of it. Lots of stops in the Scottish highlands to stretch your legs and explore the area. The Loch Ness boat tour was very informative and relaxing. No Nessie sightings I'm afraid.

This was certainly the highlight of our three days in Edinburgh! Louisa was extremely knowledgable and equally funny, which made for an amazing tour. We would highly recommend this tour, particularly given that they have access to the largest amounts of vaults in Edinburgh.

Really glad we booked this tour. It made our first visit to Edinburgh much more meaningful. Our amazing guide, (Mark C from Ireland) was an excellent guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and he was really funny, as well. We would have walked by buildings and landmarks of significance without knowing the meaning and history behind them, if we had not booked this tour. Same with the Castle. We learned so much and are now inspired to read Scottish authors. Highly recommend. And big thank you to Mark C! Fantastic job. We loved it.

Our tour guide, Robert, was very kind and knowledgeable. He shared many interesting stories about the history of the castle and made the tour enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour.

Great showcase of St Andrew’s and Fife

An excellent tour with Ally P! A great showcase of the Kingdom of Fife with endless local knowledge and stories. Multiple stops at notable locations with the main stop in St. Andrew. Ally took the time to show us the town prior to drop off so we knew where the main interest points were and even provided the option to get dropped off centrally or closer to the golf course. The golf course was welcoming to spectators and allowed walking on thru ways and photos on the course that don’t disrupt the players. All our stops had pay for use bathrooms (tap and coin) recommendation to pack snacks - you won’t want to spend your time getting food on your stops! Our drive back included some Scottish music references (Ally you’d host a great radio show!) we recommend this tour as a great day trip from the city!

Great experience in the Highlands

Overall it was a great experience. Nathan was our guide and provided a lot of information as we were driving to and from the Highlands which helped our journey go a bit faster. Overall it’s a good itinerary, you certainly get to see the highlights of the Highlands and Isle of the Sky. The coach was fairly comfortable but no place to set personal items down (phone, jacket, water bottle, etc.) so you had to have everything on your lap. There was a space above for small backpacks. Regarding our accommodations, we booked a B&B through the tour. Others on our tour did not book their hotels with Rabbies but did it on their own. Their accommodations were in town which was much more convenient to restaurants. We had a 12 min walk to the town, which is ok but we had horrible weather and walking in the cold rain was not fun. Before our trip, I had a few questions about our tour and they replied quickly. So, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out to them.

Great experience and history lesson

Had a great time touring Edinburgh Castle. The history is interesting, but having a knowledgeable guide pointing out small details is a nice addition. If you’re heading to the Castle, I’d definitely recommend getting a booking with them, it made the experience well worth the time.

Isle of Skye

Great way to see Isle of Skye and all the natural wonders. Plenty of time to take photos, use washroom and grab a bite to eat. Martin provided enough history of the areas. With the weather being a bit rainy and snowy, he was able to redirect the route for us to see the Fairy Pools. We enjoyed our stay in Portree each night. The group was small, the bus had reclining seats. Good idea to bring snacks and water with you. Bring layers as we had snow, rain and sun! Well worth the trip!

Wonderful and Magical Experience

Our guide Hazel was absolutely stunning. She was a load of information that made us feel like we were there with JK Rowling and the creation of Harry Potter. She showed us so many wonderful things that made me feel like I was a part of Harry Potter and how the movie was inspired by so many things in Edinburgh. She also played games throughout to make you think about parts of the movie and she even talked about history of Edinburgh and how it tied into the Harry Potter story. This was one of the best tours I have been on and I highly recommend it. Great job Hazel!!
