What are people saying about Costa Rica

Excellent experience!...
Excellent experience! This was the highlight of our time in San Jose. Angel was an outstanding guide and the food and drinks were amazing. You will not leave hungry or thirsty!!! We parked a little too far away and had trouble finding the meeting place (our fault), and the one-way downtown streets were not easy to navigate. I would recommend getting dropped off for this to make it easy on yourself. Definitely a must-do in San Jose!

This is Costa Rica!!
Josue is absolutely amazing! He really has a way of bringing strangers together for a great cultural experience. The food was amazing, but nothing will ever compare to the quality of the Ceviche; I’m still thinking about it lol! You can tell the locals really love and respect him and I would expect nothing more for such an amazing soul! I’ll be back and this will definitely be on my list!

This tour was awesome!!...
This tour was awesome!! Gigi was very informative and very open to any questions we had! We got to make our own chocolate from scratch and our own coffee from grinding the beans to tasting it afterwards! I would highly recommend this tour, even on a rainy day because the tour is 100% covered with canopy’s!

Great cultural experience!
We had a great time in this local cooking class! Cathy was so kind and patient, and shared about cultural aspects of what we were cooking. We made Casado with chicken, rice and beans, vegetables and homemade tortillas - and it was delicious! Else can’t wait to make this again at home!

See San José by bike!
We had a great time on our tour, there was a protest march on at the time and Jorge took care to alter our route so that we did not get mixed up in it! We had some really tasty food and learned about coffee in a very classy coffee restaurant where we got to drink eome special coffee. Jorge was extremely knowledgeable about the history of San Jose and Costa Rica. Highly recommended tour!

Cocoa, Comedy, and Great Luck
It was an absolutely lovely time and our guide was sarcastic and funny, he made the experience better. It’s funny because I was actually going to go with a different chocolate tour that was more intimate but because of logistics decided on this one, lo and behold we only had 11 people in our tour! Worked out perfectly and I booked the 1 P.M slot on a Wednesday for anyone wondering.

Yummy way to start the day!
This tour was right across the street from our airbnb so we did it to start one of our mornings. It was actually pretty interesting! The chocolate tasting was my favorite part. I hate coffee but I decided trying their coffee was something I needed to do. I’m not going to Italy and not trying pasta, ya know? For being black coffee, it was actually not bad! If you need a short tour to fill some time, don’t skip this! Sergio was funny and knowledgable!

Awesome Experience!
Matty was an excellent guide. He took us to 4 different restaurants and all the food was amazing. Each dish was very unique and well presented. The portions were huge and we were stuffed by the end of the tour. Matty told us much about the history of Jaco and pointed out his favorite places to eat and shop. He also was a wealth of information about activities in the area and fun things to do. Its a great activity and you will enjoy.

Awesome tastes of Costa Rica, , , literally
It was fantastic. Julio is a wonderful guy and guide, he provides introductions to the specialty locations' guides (Anna at coffee and cacao your; Jessie at Sloth Reserve), who were as wonderful and informative. Saw and learned a great deal and appreciated every moment, provided lunch was awesome as well!!
¡Thanks to Julio!

Costa Rica is Perfectly Splendid “Pura Vida”
We hit the ground running and experienced the best culture night tour on the streets of San Jose, Costa Rica. So much history, heard about William Walker who actually lived in my city, New Orleans, This tour was above and beyond greater than any of my expectations. Karol and Johana were amazing guides, we learned so much and there was so much to see, cork trees, beautiful parks, coffe bean trees, historical buildings, art work, live opera performance as we were passing by! Bravo with a wave. We met great people too.
Somos más que Café is were I experience a warm and tasty cup of coffee, it was a cappuccino with a hit of ginger and lime, it was so very delightful. We ended our night at a very unique dinning spot with the best Authentic Costa Rican food ever, there were several meal options to choose from, drinks for me 2 glasses of Sangria, My dessert was a brownie with vanilla ice cream, “ you know what it’s called” Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!🇨🇷🫶🏽🇨🇷
