Guide was very experienced and funny. The views were gorgeous. Lunch was delicious with red, white wine and of course Raki. Our team was the best. You should definitely take this safari. No regrets!

The company was easy to communicate with. They accommodated us even though we were staying on the other side of the island. Our tour guide was very friendly and his personal knowledge of the island was really insightful along the trip. We saw a lot in one day but didn’t feel rushed at the stops. Lunch was also very good as we stopped in a little town to have a local meal. Each car fit 8 people plus the driver making the experience that much more personal.

Wow! What a truly amazing day we’ve had! Spent the day touring spectacular ( and at times daunting ) roads and rugged terrain. Up and over mountains visiting Karines village, Potamon Dam, Prasies Gorge, watching vultures circling overhead at Kourtaliotiko Gorge then the Preveli palm forests and Preveli beach - not forgetting a magnificent lunch at a taverna in Spili. My family and I are completely in awe of what we’ve seen today. Our fantastic driver, guide and host (and singer!!) Dionysus has been incredible with his wealth of knowledge and family stories and cultural historical facts - he is just brilliant!!
We can’t recommend this trip and guide enough. Thank you so much for an unforgettable day.

Perfect day, we got to see a different side of Crete with a local guide who was very professional and entertaining. We were fortunate that we only had 5 adults and a child in our vehicle. We saw other vehicles with 8 adults in them and they did not look comfortable at all. Keep in mind the walk to the beach while only 15 mn is steep and rocky. Lunch was incredible and the views perfect.

Best tour we took in Crete. Our host Dyonis was outstanding. Knew the Mountain people and helped serve the food at the wonderful restaurant stop on the way back.
From Mountains, Olive Groves, Shepherds and small villages, sampling food and Raki to the beauty of Preveli Beach. The vistas are breath taking and this tour will take you where you would not dare go on your own and see some authentic Greek lifestyle.

He was very kind, informative, funny and pleasent.
Money very well spent on a tour that showed us villages of Crete, local products, a great little beach and a very nice lunch and local shopping.

Stavros did an amazing job of driving us around the island and pointing out interesting things along the way. It was a beautiful day on a wonderful island. This is a very unique way to experience it. Also a great lunch and some swimming at an incredible beach.

We were picked up on time by our tour guide Dionysios Gavras to start our day. Dionysios was both friendly and informative throughout the safari and the whole family learnt a lot about Crete and the peoples way of life both now, in the past and the their relationship with the land and geography. Hearing about his own family's past and present made the trip more relevant. Although long, the day passed quickly and we saw some spectacular scenery both inland and coastal. I recommend this safari.

Although the weather was not the best for the first couple of hours of this tour, it was good to be able to see some of the Cretan hinterland. There were some great views and, unlike some other tours, the driver actually stopped at vantage points so you could take photos. We stopped at some little village that really had nothing going for it, but it did give those who wanted to the opportunity to visit a loo. A stop at a larger village gave us the opportunity to get a decent coffee, look in the shops, and see some of the sites - the main one being a fountain with 24 lion-head spouts. We had a good lunch at a taverna within walking distance to Prevelli beach, and then had an hour at the beach. If you didn't want to swim you could climb the hundreds of steps up to the higher carpark, with good views on the way.

This trip was one of the highlights of our holiday. 5 of us set out with our driver, Stavros, who was informative, friendly and great fun. There were lots of stops along the way - to admire the stunning views spot the wildlife including vultures above Prasses Gorge guess the herb and visit villages we would not otherwise have got to. We spent some time in Karines and Spili, long enough for refreshment and a wander round the villages before heading to our destination of Preveli, the South Coast beach with palm trees. We were treated to some excellent food and unlimited wine at a beach side taverna here and then given free time to relax, swim or explore.
More stunning scenery/photo opportunities/ lively conversation accompanied us on the return journey.
Being picked up from, and returned to, our hotels was much appreciated.
This trip is excellent value for money, great fun and a brilliant way to see more of the island.

Wer einen kleinen Einblick in die Kretische Lebensweise haben möchte muss dort mit fahren.

Perfekt organisierte Tour mit sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Fahrern!
Von der Abholung direkt vor dem Hotel über die Einleitung vom charmanten Tourguide Frank aus Österreich weiter zu den verschiedenen Aussichtspunkten bis hin zum Mittagessen und dem Erholungsaufenthalt am Palmenstrand Preveli war das ein unvergesslicher Tag für uns!
Meine Frau und ich sowie unsere zwei Kinder 8 und 13 haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt und viele tolle Eindrücke von Kreta sammeln können, die uns ohne diese Tour verwehrt geblieben wären. Besonders beeindruckt haben uns die Gänsegeier, aber auch die diversen kleinen Bergdörfchen und die wunderschönen Küstenabschnitte auf der Südseite der Insel am libyschen Meer.
Unser Fahrer Stavros ist ein echtes Unikat! Mit seinen Spässen hat er uns immer wieder köstlich unterhalten. Sein sehr gutes Englisch und der eine oder andere Brocken Deutsch hat die Kommunikation sehr erleichtert. Wir haben somit nicht nur vom deutschen bzw. österreichischen Tourguide sehr viel gelernt, sondern auch von unserem Fahrer - sei dies zu kretischen Hochzeitsritualen oder zu einheimischen Kräutern und Gewürzen!
Also, alles in Allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte Veranstaltung! 5 Sterne!!!
