Lots of walking but worth it!

This is not a good trip for anyone with mobility issues. My husband can walk but slowly and with a cane. There are stairs up to the cave restaurant and the walk to the beach is long. That said, our tour guide arranged for a handicapped shuttle bus to take us to the beach. It was spectacular!!

We had a fabulous day touring Balos Lagoon and Falassarna Beach! Our tour guide, Nicholas, was absolutely amazing—super friendly, funny, and incredibly accommodating. He made sure everything was arranged perfectly, from the rental of our sunbeds to an amazing lunch. Nicholas was also an expert driver, especially navigating the rough terrain, which made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. Everything was seamless, enjoyable, and so well organized. Such a fun way to experience Crete!

We did the quad tour during our honeymoon in Crete and had an absolute blast! It was such a fun change of pace and gave us a completely different way to experience the island. The tour was incredibly well organized, and we felt comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire experience. The scenery was beautiful, the riding was so much fun, and we loved getting away from the typical tourist experience and seeing another side of Crete. We packed a LOT into our honeymoon throughout Greece, and this was definitely one of those experiences that stood out. Wonderful Snorkeling Experience

My wife and I booked this snorkeling experience and had an excellent time! Basil, Andrea and team were very knowledgeable and personable. We had so much fun using the DPV scooters and were able to see so much. On our tour, Andrea was very informed about the local marine life and history and was able to teach us so much about the Souda bay and the surrounding Mediterranean Sea. Both my wife and I were coincidentally stung by jellyfish and Basil/Andrea were able to quickly help take care of us, which we appreciated. We could not recommend this experience more!

This was hands down one of the best and most authentic experiences we have ever done. From the moment we arrived, we truly felt like we were being welcomed into a family rather than attending a cooking class. We spent the day cooking authentic Cretan dishes, drinking their homemade wine, eating, laughing, and just chatting like we had known each other forever. They took the time to walk us around their entire property, where we got to milk the goats, see how everything comes together, and experience a side of Crete that you simply cannot get from a typical tourist activity. We even got to meet their grandmother, whose property has the grapes they use to make their wine — such a special and personal part of the experience. What really stood out to us was how genuinely generous and passionate they were. They kept telling us to stay as long as we wanted, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave! We even tried to tip them TWICE, and they absolutely refused both times. It was so clear that they weren’t doing this for the money — they genuinely love their culture, their family, their food, and sharing it with other people. This felt so much more meaningful than just taking a cooking class. It was an authentic glimpse into Cretan life, family, traditions, and hospitality. We left feeling like we had made friends and gotten to experience something truly special. We cannot recommend this experience enough. One of our favorite experiences we have ever done, and something we will remember forever!

Amazing boat excursion!

This was one of the best boat excursions we have ever taken. The boat was beautiful. We purchased the VIP ticket so we had access to the top deck and our own sun lounger. Worth every penny. The chef was great and food was amazing. The whole team onboard was so friendly and fun. We loved being able to paddleboard in the Mediterranean. It was the best and most beautiful experience!

The Chania Food Tour was excellent. Adonis was our tour guide. We went to 5 hole on the wall places that were family run and only the locals know about them. Come hungry as there is a lot of food. I highly recommend this tour! We also walked around town and saw leather street, knife street, St Nicholas church from outside and harbor.

Excellent top notch service

This was an accidental tour, which turned out to be the best experience of any short excursions that I have done whether through the cruise line or through other sources. The original excursion was supposed to be seven people, but got canceled because my bank, which is United States received the charge at two in the morning while I was asleep and at sea. Since I could not answer it in a timely fashion, they declined the charge. So I woke up to the cancellation but had recommendations for a nearly identical excursion with an additional 25% off. I booked immediately. The guide Yannis spoke very good English and it turned out to be that I was the only one on his excursion. So he arrived very nice and although there was a pre-created itinerary he still had the courtesy to ask me what do you want to see what kind of travel do you like. I told him that I have traveled extensively almost everywhere in the world at age 55. I said cancel the regular itinerary. I do not need to see another monastery church or ruin. I asked him to treat me like a friend or relative coming to his area for the first time and to show me what he would be most proud to show. He took me to the wonderful solitary lake in the center of the island at the base of the mountain for lunch. We also had coffee and a pre-lunch on a cliffside, which was magnificent. We stopped at a bakery for local Yum Yum‘s. We also stopped at a couple of other places like an original olive oil mill who still does it partly by hand and the rest by machinery and a couple of other interesting places. I don’t know about the company as a hole, but I can say if I was going to do this again I would definitely ask for him by name because he is the best guide I have had on any of my worldwide travels over the past 30+ years. He also insured that as a registered nurse age 55 with a little beat up body with joints and hips and such did not take me to anywhere that I felt uneasy going. All in all I think he is the best guide that this company has and I look forward to seeing him again next year.

Definitely worth it if...

Definitely worth it if you want to visit these hard to reach locations without the chaos of a big tourist ship. Everything was well planned, and the boat had plenty of food, drinks, and places to hang out while sailing. And there are things to do whether you want to run up to the fortress in Gravmousa and swim to Balos lagoon, or just hang out on the boat. If I had to criticize something, I wish they'd separate smokers into their own tour, or make the whole thing non-smoking. We only had one smoker, and it was annoying enough. Not much space on the boat to get away from it.

Our driver Andy was so sweet and hospitable! During our drives to each location, he educated us on the history of Crete in regards to olive trees and vineyards. The staff in each location were so nice and you can just tell they love what they do. Made me appreciate the goods more knowing how much work goes into it. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I joined...

My husband and I joined the SUP tour during our stop along our cruise. They picked us up at the cruise port and it was such a simple process. We really enjoyed the tour and our guide, Babi, was absolutely fantastic. He showed us how to use the paddle board and brought us to some fun spots to do some jumping. They also provided a camera to take photos and videos of us. We were also returned to the port. I highly recommend this tour to anyone on a cruise or staying on the island.
