We love walking food tours & this did not disappoint! Our guide, Manos, was extremely personable, kind, helpful, knowledgeable and funny! He was extra careful with our daughter’s peanut allergy. He provided us with recommendations for points of interest & delicious restaurants around Chania and Crete, in general. We HIGHLY recommend this tour, especially Manos!

Great tour. Our guide was funny, full of history, and did his very best to make a cold rainy day as fun as possible. We stopped at a ton of great places to eat, saw lots of old town, and went away as full as possible. First tour I have taken where everyone in the group was stuffed. Would highly recommend. Our group was a family with two teenagers.

The local guide was knowledgeable. Nice balance between food and local history on the tour. Main meal of ocal favorites was at a local "tavern" were our group of 5 were the only tourists. Be ready to walk and see rhe back streets of Old Chania.

Sophie was a great tour guide. My wife has some food allergies and she made sure that the food tour fit her allergies. She even brought some food on her own for my wife that was very good. Sophie also took us off of the main path for a really great tour history about the area and great food experience. It was our favorite out of the six cities we visited and had tours for.

Manos was personable and a very knowledgable guide. After a bus ride to the city, we ultimately located the start point. Our small group (6 people) tour with Manos included a breakfast pastry and Greek coffee; tasting of cheeses and olives at a local store; Souvlaki at Oasis; visit to Old Town and the Venetian zone; Little Italy at the wharf; olive oil and Balsamic tasting at a local store; all culminating with lunch. Don’t eat before the tour as Manos shares with many delights.

Informative, attentive, and delicious way to explore Chania, its history, culture, and food. Goldie was a terrific tour guide who was eager to share as much information as we wanted to learn about Chania, Crete, and its history. The food stops were delicious and very filling and we left feeling very full and satisfied. Good mix of tastings vs full meals as stops

Wonderful get-to know Chania type of event via local food.. Eleni, our tour person, was local as you can get. She’s born in Chania and her family generation is from Chania. She talked about their culture and tradition while we did multiple stops for food and drinks. She’s super friendly and very welcoming. We were stuffed by the time the tour ended! Lots of food! Highly recommended!

I enjoyed going out of the old port area and trying food in more non tourist areas, yet a short walk into old port to try food there as well. Loved seeing the bougatsa and baklavah phylo dough be made. The guide was easy to get along with, steered us through the streets safely in a casual pace. I got to see places I would not have seen by myself. The guide shared her family stories as they relate to food and had lots of positive energy and knowledge about the history of Crete. Would do again!

Helene was a superlative guide to Chania and Crete. The food, the historical references, the descriptions of the culture and the way it has changed over time, all were wonderful, but what made for a truly rich experience was the feeling of being brought into someone’s home. The warmth and generosity that Helene expressed was echoed by everyone she introduced us to. It will remain a highlight of my first (but not last!) trip to Crete.

We really enjoyed our food walking tour with Sophia! There were only five of us on the tour and we tried several snacks while walking through Chania and then had a sit down lunch. Sophia made this trip so much fun. She gave us alot of information about the Old Town too. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Sophia!!

Chania is a charming seaside town. Our guide did a fantastic job providing us with interesting historical information, giving us a great tour of the city, and taking us to places we could taste truly regional food and beverages. Fantastic tour of the old town with Adonis (spelling?). We did not leave hungry! He went over and beyond to accommodate us. We loved Chania, walked through the labyrinth of the old city with Adonis sharing the history. He spread out our walk, after the first three tastings, which helped us to make room for the next couple of tastings. Enlightening to learn about and experience various traditional Greek foods.
